Loud

We bought this to get rid of birds on our roof under our solar panels. We tired of bird doo all over. Can’t keep it on long, can give you a headache. Lowest setting is loud. For the first few days it worked great. Now not so much.

Worked very well

We had birds living in a tree in our front yard that would overhang the steps leading to our front door. Every day there were so many bird droppings on the steps. We tried fake owls, hanging reflective paper, ribbons, etc. Nothing worked. Out of desperation we decided to invest in this device and it works like a charm. Birds left and haven’t returned. It’s been several months and it’s still working. Volume can be adjusted as well as the intervals. Worth the money!! Side note… I think the bird distress calls are so convincing we even had an owl fly onto our porch at night searching for the distressed birds. Wow!!

The X-Pro has helped some...

I purchased this product based on reviews and out of desperation to get the birds out of my large horse barn. Amazon's price/delivery/shipping were excellent as usual. The Repelller was set up in my barn up above the area where my horse's feeders and water trough(which became an oversized "bird bath") are located. I was so tired of the bird droppings all over everything and one of my barn cats got very ill with histoplasmosis (result of fungus from bird droppings). Humans can get histoplasmosis as well. So, needless to say, we went to war on the birds! The Bird X-Pro unit was as described and was set up as suggested in the written materials provided. It helped considerably at first, but after a few weeks the birds were back in full force, although it seems as though they didn't "mess" quite as much near were the unit was placed. From reading some of the other reviews, I decided to try the Scare Eye Balloons as well. I can't say enough about the balloons...so much that I even ordered 2 more packages. The balloons really have made all the difference in the world! I even went to the next level and purchased red metallic tissue paper to cut into strips for additional streamers to hang with what the manufacturer had provided. I've hung several balloons up staggered at the doorways of my barn, along with still using the Bird X-Pro and the bird issues are considerably diminished....voila!!!

Birds gone, not 100% sure but think it is because of this device

I live in Phoenix, AZ. We had a hundreds of migratory birds living in the oleanders next to our house last winter. Was extremely loud, woke us up every morning, couldn't hold a conversation in the evening in our backyard it was that loud. We bought this product and used it for 30 days. The birds did not leave. I figured this product didn't work so I unplugged it and put it away. Well the next winter (this past winter) the birds did not come back, at least not nearly as many. We barely noticed them this year. Our theory is that this product did in fact work as intended. Our theory is that last winter since the birds were already established and nesting their young, they would not leave. However, our theory is that the this device scared the birds enough that when they migrated back this winter, they chose a different place to nest because they remembered the predatory sounds this device made last year. I give the product 4 instead of 5 starts only because we can't be sure that it is the reason the birds did not come back. But either way, we are happy now!

I am dissatisfied with the unit since it clearly isn't waterproof and out a lot of money because it's past the warranty period.

Finally, a product that seems to work to repel the birds. After having it set up for several weeks there are still a few hanging around but the majority have left the area. They have nests and eggs and won't leave them. They are also much quieter than before. Perhaps next spring it will prevent any new ones coming around. I am using the unit for my back yard and the neighbor behind me who has problems with the front yard tree and bird poop on their vehicles. It is working for her too. So the unit does cover a large area as it states. I am satisfied with the results so far. I just need to get used to the audible sounds it emits. Hopefully, the birds won't. I would recommend it to others. An update: the unit is supposed to be waterproof. It is NOT. I made sure the gasket was in place properly and the door fully closed and latched. After a rain storm I had a lot of water in the unit and it no longer works. Very disappointed since it was expensive and supposed to be waterproof. However, the unit did work to remove most of the birds in the area.

Definitely Pleased

It worked wonderfully for us. We have 25 blueberry bushes planted fairly close together in one area in direct sunlight and the berries always grow; but in past years the birds ate 90% of them and we only got a few quarts. The birds (blue jays, black birds (with yellow and orange under their wings), robins, even crows) were there early in the morning when we got up and we would chase them away, but they kept coming back. Some of the birds (the blue jays) would even land on the bushes next to us last year when we were picking berries. But this year within a few days of setting up the Bird-X BirdXPeller Pro the birds started leaving. The last to leave were a few Robins (who must have been near deaf), but after a few weeks they left also. I set the unit up about 20 feet from the berries. I changed the predator prey calls twice during the season and I only had it turned on about half volume. We have about five acres, three quarters of it is treed, and I only set it loud enough to cover the cultivated acre. So the noise wasn't loud enough to bother our neighbour, but the birds heard it, as we hoped they would. We definitely are very pleased with the results. We filed a freezer with our berries this year.

Did not work

I understand that this product has specific instructions and has to be used according to instructions. We followed all the instructions included with the box and had no success. In fact, starlings would sit 5 feet from the box shrieking with random distress and predator calls with no concern. We used the box in conjunction with bird tape, giant owl eye balls and an air horn to attempt to eradicate starlings. We have no success. I am not saying this product doesn’t work, but it certainly hasn’t worked for us.

No hace su función

No se si sea porque en mty, no hay esas aves depredadoras pero las palomas hasta se pasean cerca del artefacto, no me sirvió. Me han funcionado las estatuillas de búho ????

ARTÍCULO FUNCIONA BIEN, PERO NO AHUYENTA A LAS AVES

El producto funciona bien en cuanto a la descripción al comprarlo. Tiene varias opciones de funcionamiento, lo cual es muy bueno. Sin embargo, al estar activo, las aves no se van. Mi problema son las palomas o gorriones, pero no se alejan, ni si quiera se mueven al escuchar el sonido del dispositivo. Por tal motivo, no recomiendo el Bird-Xpeller para ahuyentar aves.

Tauben unbeeindruckt vom Raubvogelgeschrei

Leider blieben die Tauben vom Raubvogelgeschrei total unbeeindruckt und der Vogelvertreiber führte zu keinerlei Verbesserung. Lediglich die ein oder andere Elster schaute etwas irritiert umher, ergriff aber auch nicht die Flucht. Nach einer guten Woche habe ich das Gerät letztendlich wieder entfernt.

US plug only; battery use is not possible!!

This offer comes with a US plug! Despite the description, does it not work with a Battery!! If you get it to run it does what it is supposed to. Yet the switches are very tiny. Instructions are only in english.
