Handy small parellel clamps
I like these for smaller panel glue-ups since they are light and easy to handle. Like many other reviewers mentioned, the little clips seem to have gone missing on 7/8 of the clamps I ordered (which causes the clamp to come apart). My solution was to use small zip tie looped at the end which prevents the clamp mechanism from falling off the bar.

Criticisms are mostly nonsense
Ok the clamping parts are indeed made out of plastic. These are light duty clamps. They are cheap. OK are we through that issue now? Fine. The other criticisms here I nearly avoided buying this for are hysterical nonsense. - “The plastic clip that makes the sliding part captive to the bar comes off easily or breaks.” Yes but if it didn’t I’d cut it off anyway, because half the time I’m using these as spreaders. Indeed they work great as a duo, one spreading the other clamping to lock something in place. - “The handle is hard to slide” Oh please it’s super easy you just TILT it and it goes. Far easier for one hand use than a clutch mechanism version. I forget the other criticisms thankfully but I’m happy to say these are nice and useful and I bought four. I got the Powertec 24” for sturdier parallel clamps but these are great for smaller lighter jobs. The better Bessey’s are more expensive and if you do this a lot OK get those. But learn your tools and be fair in reviewing them.

1 of 4 is missing the clip
25% failure rate as for as completeness goes. Not great . Amazon's fault or Bessy's fault? Who knows?

Best clamps for wood working
If you are a wood worker this is the type of clamp you need. After buying these clamps I stopped using the other clamps. You need this if you are a wood worker. Recommend them highly.

Missing clip on one clamp
This purchase of Bessey uniklamps has been frustrating. I like the design of the clamps but One of the two clamps I ordered did not come with the small plastic clip that prevents the moving jaw from falling off - and that’s a pain to deal with during a glue up. I realize I could have returned it but all I need is a tiny plastic clip.l - returning it for that seems like a waste of energy(fuel & carbon from the additional transportation) and my time. But you can’t communicate anything except “return” to Amazon - not ”I have a small issue I need help with” and Bessey North America won’t respond to my customer service email asking where I can buy one. I don’t even want to try to get it free - I would buy a dozen if they sell them. But they won’t respond and they do not have a part number for it on their web site, so it’s impossible to order. I guess I need to deal with Jorgenson and not Bessey. It’s Adisappointing to be unable to resolve a small problem that makes an otherwise good and expensive tool harder to use.

Lightweight, strong and small. More surface area than a Tradesman or F style
Decent for smaller clamp ups. I have quite a few Bessey clamps. I use the Revos and the Tradesman (F style) clamps for 99% of my work as a hobbyist woodworker. I saw these, noticed how inexpensive they were, the good reviews and decided to give them a try. I bought four. I've used them a few times, mostly to check them out. I'm on the fence about them. They work better than I expected (strength) and they're light. I also like how small they are. I hate using an 18" clamp for a 6" glue up, or even worse, 6 of them. These will probably be good for small boxes where you want that surface area that you don't get from a Tradesman. So far I still gravitate to the Tradesman, but I can see finding certain applications that they are more suited to and getting another four of them in the future. UPDATE: As you probably know, different clamps come in handy for different scenarios. I find myself using these more and more for various assembly tasks. They are small, but that's what makes them useful for small tasks. I find them clunky to open and close, so I leave them open for easier "grab and use".

Baby Bear would like these clamps.
I like to have a couple of small clamps at my bench to serve as extra hands throughout the day. For years I used a couple of Quick-Grip clamps, but they’re not always powerful enough to keep a work piece stationary. More recently I’ve used F-type clamps, but when you tighten the screw the round pad unhelpfully makes your work piece want to skate around. I have some parallel jaw clamps that are great for critical glue-ups, but they’re awfully heavy when I want to clamp a small piece for just a moment. These guys are perfect. Not overly massive, plenty powerful and, with their simple parallel jaws, they don’t move your work around. They are most cooperative if you use a simple technique with them. When open and held vertical, these clamps want to slide closed. Don’t fight it. Let them close, then lift up and out on the handle, which will now slide open as much as you like, then let gravity snug them for you before tightening with the handle. I liked my first pair of these so much I got two more. They’re far superior to cheap clamps and a bargain compared to top-of-the-line parallel jaw clamps.

Jaw is plastic, smaller than competitors
I bought these and a similarly priced competitors and found out how much smaller and weaker these are. The sliding jaw is essentially a piece of plastic for most of the jaws structure. I paid $21 for these and $25 for the competitors which were bigger and stronger in every way. Kind of a let down since I do love Besseys F style clamps. These just need to be redesigned and upgraded to compete.
