LOVE THIS SHREDDER
Aurora AU1210MA Professional Grade High Security 12-Sheet Micro-Cut Paper/CD and Credit Card/ 60 Minutes Continuous Run Time Shredder, I love this shredder it is so quite and so far I have had no paper jams. Just so much better then the one I had before. It feeds from the top and easy to empty out. The seller was great, it was boxed great no damage from shipping, and they sent it out on time. Will buy from them again.

So far so good, nice shredder not too noisy shreds really well.
Only had it a few hours. Having saved lots of personal info I didn't want to trash without shredding since my old machine died. I've gone thru enough for two bins. So far so good. I haven't tried more than 10 sheets. It slows a bit on 8 or more, but works. I'll likely keep my feeds to 6 sheets just to make it easy. Ran it practically non-stop for 30 minutes twice and no issues. Does a real nice job cross-cut shredding. Seems to match its P4 claims on shredding sizes. Shredding unit itself is quite heavy. It rolls easily on the wheels it comes with though they are on the small side. After the first bin I oiled it and it seemed quieter. Maybe it needs oiling a bit when you first get it. It is fairly quiet in any case when running. Cord is nice and long. I do think the lower part of the unit and paper bin are on the flimsy side. All a snapped together affair and the bin has some grooves/wheels to guide it in and out, but I wonder how well it will lock in place with more use. And you'll want to handle it with care as it flexes just taking it in and out and handling to empty the paper. Seem like for the price this plastic part could have been a millimeter thicker and more robust. I haven't tried credit cards or CDs. I'll keep staples and paper clips out of it. Why abuse your machine? I usually use some small bolt cutters on credit cards. Easy to snip into pieces. I'll just shred paper I think. Pretty happy, it is more powerful and shreds much smaller than my old cheap machine from Office Depot.

Best Shredded on the Market!
If you’re in the market for a great personal or non-personal document paper shredded…look no further! This Aurora AU1210MA model is the best shredded for the price, on the market! You could spend more but why would you? This shredded does it all…Micro-Cuts up to 12 pages at a time, even the staples or paper clips! It devours CD’s/DVDS/Credit Cards, all with ease. It holds up to 5 gallons of micro-cut up very fine, never to be put together again, pieces of paper or plastic. And it’s so quiet…honestly, Sooo quiet it wouldn’t wake up the sleeping baby even if it was in the same room! It’s Quiet! Great for the office at work or even at the house, I highly recommend this product…and for a great price as well. I’ll save you the trouble of searching…Amazon! Enough said.

Best Buy Ever!
Love this product. I have to say, I'm always afraid I'll get defective products when I shop online. But this has been one of the best purchases I've ever made. Totally love it, or should I say, my husband loves it. I think I've only shredded 2, maybe 3 sheets. He's been shredding everything. Probably 15-20 trash bags full so far. And he's not given the machine a chance to rest. I can't even get papers, old checks, etc. together fast enough for him. I thought he'd kill the machine by now or it would overheat, but it's still going strong and has never stopped from overheating. Haven't had it long, but I believe it has already paid for itself. My parents had papers all the way back to 1951 and from 2 businesses. Imagine that. Every document back then had SS#, DL#, and your whole life story on them. I don't have to worry about anybody getting any info after shredding with this machine. Wish I had bought this a few years ago. Would have saved me so much time. If it doesn't hold up, I'll definitely purchase another one. Very easy to maneuver and very little noise while shredding. Only needs oiling once a month and read I could use regular vegetable oil! Haven't tried that yet though. Will reverify that before I do, then see how it works.

Works great
When I recieved this, I went to town. I filled it once a day for over a week. Thats about an hour of shredding. No issues or jams. It is also surprisingly quiet, or maybe im just used to the old ones. I did use it next to my bird, which is usually very skittish around anything or any noise. Didnt seem to bother him in the slightest. The bin can be a little tricky now and then, but no big deal. Overall a really good shredder so far. Remember to use lubrication.

Nice Shredder
Nice shredder, I had a lot of historic documents I needed to shred and when I say a lot - I mean a lot! I filled 2 contractor bags full. The shredded cross cut each document including old credit cards and cds. Worth the price.

Quiet, Amazing, So happy I took a chance!
Oh my gosh !!! I Love this micro shredder. Big capacity, my purpose is for shredding 30 years of taxes of mine , my husband’s and my Mom’s The shreds are small enuf to make great nesting material for Easter egg baskets, or packing materials ( could be a bit messy tho! All kidding aside this a marvelous machine. There is a drawer the shreds deposit into a good size bin that you pull out. Seemed expensive , but it’s wonderful. Great value , I’ve had many in the past, noisy messy to empty, only a few sheets at a time, this takes 12 at a time shreds Credit cCrds & CD’s & DVD’s too!

Save yourself a whole tot of time and money. Buy the right shredder the first time
If you are well organized and can shred your documents one at a time as you need rather than letting them pile up to be done as a big job then a small shredder will work for you. This however is a shredder for the real world where you need to get through a large stack of paperwork that needs shredding 8-10 parses at a time by the box load and you’re going to take an afternoon dedicated to the task. We tried two smaller units the pretty much self destructed when put to the mammoth task. This shredder however took it one and made shredding easy and fun. Don’t wast your money and time buying a cheep shredder if you’ve got boxes of old paperwork to dispose of. Get a real shredder to begin with

Powerful, capable paper shredder
This shredder shreds! It reduces paper, CDs, and cards (I tried some of each) into tiny particles that I defy anyone to reassemble. It has one of the longest run-times of shredders that I had researched, and I was able to shred a decade of personal, expired paperwork in one session, filling the large box in which the shredder was delivered. It is reasonably quiet, and the automatic on/off feature is very convenient. It did not jam even once, and it would run non-stop until its shredded paper level sensor would read a full bin, at which point it would stop shredding and tell you that the bin needs to be emptied. After emptying the bin, the shredder would restart on its own, continuing to shred the paper that was in mid-shred when it had stopped. I recommend this shredder for someone looking for a powerful and capable shredder that is listed at a very competitive price.

Great unit - small, quiet and is a workhorse
This is a great shredder. What makes this unit stand out for me is the 60 min continuous runtime (others are usually 10 min) and that it is so quiet. I can have a conversation / call and there is no issue. It is up to the P4 standard for shredded size and then some. This is fine for the documents I have. The only reason it not a P5 level of security is that the width of the shredded pieces are slightly wider than the standard for P5 (4mm vs 2mm). I still cannot read anything on the pieces even if 4mm wide! I recommend getting this unit - especially given the cost. Cheers!

Slow feeding but quality unit
I like this shredder a lot. It replaced another Aurora unit that I abused to the point where it wouldn't work well any more. This one has a slower feed rate, but it feeds at the same rate at one sheet versus 10 sheets. If you have a LOT of shredding to do, then do it outside or in a garage as it will generate a lot of dust. I shredded about 5 full banker boxes in about 2 hours and it filled 10 large paper recycling bags when all was said and done. The amount of dust surrounding the area after that much shredding was astonishing. That's not necessarily a fault of the machine - just part of the process to be aware of. The shredder itself is fairly quite as far as shredders go. The bin can be a bit messy when emptying so be ready with a vacuum or dustpan to pick up bits that get loose. I haven't seen a shredder that isn't messy like that though.
