OK, but doesn't keep bugs out

I got this to cover some house plants so I could keep them by the window on my kitchen table. My apartment had a problem with fungus gnats, and I thought sure this would keep them out. I repotted and changed the soil, but the bugs got in anyway, probably through the bottom. Apart from that, I guess this is a decent product, but it took up more space than I thought, wasn't that sturdy, and wasn't that great looking for a kitchen display. The vinyl covering was kind of wrinkly. But for a plant grower in a different environment, this would probably work well, say for African violets or under a grow light.

Good concept, poor quality

The media could not be loaded. I bought this to protect my venus fly trap from the heavy rain. It's the perfect size, fits maybe 4-6 small plants depending on size. I only need it for 1 plant. I like that you can tie the flaps back and allows air to flow in. There's one major issue, however. The cut and bend of the tubes for the frame is very poorly done, leaving the whole frame warped. It has a severe wobble as a result (~1/2"), and thus the rack inside doesn't sit properly. There's no way I can see to fix this, as assembling it is just a matter of sticking the tubes into the plastic joints. There's no tightening of screws involved to cause warping. It's simply the tubes themselves. I plan to get rubber feet for it to hopefully mitigate some of the wobble. It'll suit my purposes for now as I don't plan to use it often. However, anyone planning to use this regularly and/or long term should take caution. Edit: (1+ year later) It's still holding up and the rubber feet did help but the rack never sat right. The plastic should not be left out in the sun or it will become brittle and rip easily. My own fault for leaving it out. The frame has withstood heavy rain and wind however without being blown away. It's currently holding three of my 5-inch pots and one 3-inch pot.

Not bad. Cheap but does the job

This is really cheap. Directions are useless. Pics only, no words. Came with extra parts (??). The unit when assembled is flimsy but once you place a decent weight pot inside, it seems to be stable. The zipper is in the front which makes watering a bit of a challenge. Should be on the top, so you could unzip and water the plants. Zipper on the side just doesn't make much sense. You get what you pay for and thats the case with this product but for my needs, I simply couldn't find anything else out there.

MINI GREENHOUSE IS FABULOUS

This MINI GREENHOUSE is PERFECT. If you bought it and you say it is too small YOU ARE TOO DUMB FOR WORDS! READ. Learn to use a ruler and most importantly Stop Whining. I have uploaded pictures. I am sprouting herbs. Mint, Sage, oregano, basil and a bunch of others. There is also Wheat Grass (cat grass). My guinea pig loves it! I take the whole thing over to his cage with scissors and trim off the tops and then it goes back to the greenhouse to grow. My birds will get equal enjoyment when their herbs come up. This is so great for a side table or on top of short bookshelves. Stays warm and moist. Seedlings popped up in a few days. No need to water like open air. It is small and perfect for little seedlings. If you know what you want and can read dimensions, you will not be dissapointed. I am delighted.

Perfect for small plants and balcony gardening

In a dramatically rainy spring, my plants were drowning. This product was a great way to keep them getting sun (when we had it) but controlling how much water the plants got. I tied them to the balcony railing with twine to make sure they didn't tip or blow away, but they're keeping my plants happy!

cute and sturdy

This pvc cover is thicker than my expectations, which is good. some pvc covers from other seller are so thin that it can be easily torn apart if you drag it too hard. overall the green house is really petite. Check the size before you make the purchase.

Ideal for small plants

I’m starting out my herb garden and this green house is great. No it doesn’t feel sturdy when you first put it together but it’s meant to sit there and do its job which it does flawlessly. For the price, it’s perfect and does a great job. Make note of the measurements to see if it’s a good fit for your needs.

Great little greenhouse

I ordered this for two indoor plants that are suffering due to very low humidity and cold inside temperatures. It’s a great size for fitting into a small space and once the plants get larger, I’ll remove the wire base for more room. One plant has perked up a lot since being placed into the greenhouse a couple of days ago. Product was easy to assemble and is decently made. It won’t be suitable for anywhere subject to wind, but for indoors or a balcony it’s perfect.

Good for my purposes but a little flimsy

So far I’m enjoying this mini greenhouse. Would be great if there was a cross bar on top to prevent bulging. I also kept the cardboard box to add shelf. Wire shelf weak and flimsy- I used zip ties to secure shelf

Perfectly petite

This is the perfect little greenhouse! It's exactly what I needed to start some seeds in the house but not take up so much space. Good quality material and easy to set up. Very happy with this purchase.
