Perfect for dividing dahlias!
These scissors are very sharp and have great leverage. I bought them for dividing dahlias and they work really well for that.

Good quality
I got a really nice pair. I usually order a couple pairs of bonsai scissors a year for my greenhouse operation. Even at 15.70 this is a really good value. These will last you a long time if you take care of them. I say "even" at 15.70 because almost exactly a year ago I bought 3 pairs of these for 12.21 each. That is a $3.49 difference. Per pair. That seems unreasonable to me. This year I bought 1 pair of zenports and 2 pairs of Brussels bonsai shears. Other than the finger guards on the Brussels being more flexible, the overall length slightly shorter, and the bite not quite as smooth, they are a much better value. Maybe Zenport is charging more because their manufacturing costs have gone up. I dont know. I say that because last year 2 of the 3 pairs had ill fitting jaws. They were loose. But I have bought many other pairs before and have mostly been satisfied. This pair is perfect. Anyway, if you do get a pair that is too loose, just take a hammer and lightly tap on the rivet connecting the two halves until you get the fit that you like. This is very easy to overdo so be careful. Eventually though, they will get loose even if they dont start that way. Usually only after cutting larger diameter, more solid items. Anyway, good product (usually) and I am sure I will buy more.

Good for dividing dahlias
I use these to divide dahlia clumps and they are amazing. Sharp and easy to get into those hard to reach spots.

Excellent for the job that I needed
Excellent grip and fit. I used these to divide my dahlia tubers this winter. These scissors did a really good job cutting through the tough stalks, and the sharp tipped point was a great tool for the fine detail work while dividing the clumps of dahlia tuber that I was working with.. it was my primary tool this year and the task was far easier with these cutters. They are not made of stainless steel and do corrode.

Disappointed
I purchased my pair of Zenport gardening scissors in October 2018, so because I live in Delaware I didn't use them for gardening until early May (2019). Because these were advertised as having various uses, I tried them out in various ways but eventually found them very helpful when cutting Dentastix dental chews. I have 3 small dogs, 1 of which will shortly be 14 yrs old; sadly she no longer has her teeth. So she feels included, I cut hers into bite size pieces; these scissors have easily done that job. After each use I have always washed them in soapy water and laid them out to dry after rinsing them well; I make sure to start the drying process with them wide open then gradually close them so the connecting point is dried in all positions. I even store them in the package they came in so I feel I've done my part to maintain my investment. However, as soon as spring came and I started to use them outside for pruning, they slowly turned various colors (which looks like rust, but the metal is smooth .... nothing I can sand off). My regular cleaning, drying and storing habits didn't change; just the task. I would think a product advertised as gardening scissors that'll last for years should be able to make it through at least 1 season. I'm very disappointed to say the least. I think I should've looked for a pair which can be taken apart for cleaning and that has a warranty.

Fantastic Scissors
I have bought those scissors to trim the roots from the dahlia's tubers before storing them for the season, but since been using them to trim my house plants, cut herbs from whatever is still left in the yard for the season and everything else. Worth every penny, they will last a life time according to the people from the dahlia society.

They are one of the best tools ever for dividing dahlia tubers - strong enough ...
These are heavy-duty garden scissors with a keen edge and sharp, pointed tips. They are one of the best tools ever for dividing dahlia tubers - strong enough to cut through dried stem yet precise enough to reach into a clump and carefully remove a small tuber. The handles are long, relative to the cutting area, giving you lots of leverage. The blades are thick and strong, but with a long bevel and sharp edge. The two halves are held together with a rivet, not an adjustable screw. After several years of use mine are still tight. The steel is not stainless, so they last longer and work better if you clean and dry them after each use and then wipe the metal down with an oily rag.

Bought these to divide dahlia tubers and they are truly amazing, but they don’t stay sharp very long and I find are difficult to sharpen

They work better than anything else on the market.
I use they for cutting up dahlias. The Zenport is the only product made that works well on dahlias.
