Nice way to sort our laundry.

Great sorter and customer service.
The short review is: "5 stars. Nice looking, sturdy sorter. Great customer support if needed." If you have the patience for a longer story about my experience with their customer service, keep reading Here's the background - I got home late the Friday my sorter was delivered, so I originally decided I'd wait and put it together in the morning. After a bit of internet surfing and a refreshing adult beverage or two, putting it together *right now* before bed suddenly seemed like a great idea. I opened my box, dumped everything out on the floor, and started using my mad Ikea skills to put this thing together. Everything was going together nicely and I was just wrapping up by screwing in the four wheels when I hit a snag with the 2nd wheel. It seemed to be screwing in just fine until about the halfway point and then it jammed up. I back it up, made sure I was threading it correctly and tried again - same problem. I unscrewed it completely and tried a different wheel - no problem. So I tried the wheel in the third space and ran into the same issue. This time, being a touch frustrated, I thought I'd try forcing it past the problem area. Bad idea. I bent up the little wrench and the wheel didn't make any more progress. Luckily, it didn't seem like I damaged the sorter, but it was clear I wasn't going to get the wheel all the way in. The email address for their customer service was printed on the instructions. I sent them a brief summary of what happened and asked for a replacement wheel. The email went out a bit after midnight Saturday morning. Being a reasonably priced, self-assembled product ordered off the internet, I didn't know what to expect from the manufacturer. The sorter itself was good quality for the money, so did they cut corners elsewhere? How long would it take for them to get back? Would we go back and forth trying to "solve" the problem before they'd sent me a replacement? Would they require me to send back the defective part first? At my expense? I knew Amazon was good with returns, but I really didn't want to disassemble and re-box the unit; if push came to shove, I'd live with the unit being slightly lopsided. All that worry for nothing. 9 AM Monday morning they wrote back letting me know that they'd gladly send me another wheel. 2-3 days later it was in my box. Just like that.

Seems to do the job
Got home and my husband had it assembled. The bags are slightly smaller than I had thought, but were also slightly wider than I had assumed so it worked out. It feels sturdy and is level. Already have clothes in it and it holds them fine. I have a 2 year old that likes to walk up and try to shake it and it seems to hold his weight and "abuse" fairly well. The wheels feel strong and sturdy as well and roll pretty easily even over our carpet. Time will tell but with our laundry output (fairly high and heavy loads) I can definitely see this lasting a year or more (which for me is fantastic because I am constantly breaking the handles on those plastic totes within a month or two). Now if this were at my moms house who does laundry multiple times a week and has much smaller loads than me, this could probably last her a good 5 years or so easy. I will admit, with no prior usage of a laundry sorter, this definitely seems better quality than the one my sister has (she uses hers to sort out clean recycling). UPDATE: So it's been close to a year and I still use this thing religiously. I have had to occasionally tighten the screws on it (maybe twice) when it starts to lean to either side, however once tightened its good to go! I have abused this thing to no end. Having 3 boys and a husband who is a mechanic (lots of dirty clothes!) this thing has seen it all and it still functions just as well as the day we bought it. Very happy with this purchase and IF this thing finally decides to give up on me I would without hesitation purchase another one.

Great Product
Love this laundry sorter. It is sturdy and well made. The assembly was above what I know how to do, but my husband had no problems putting it together. I like the material of the laundry bags and the way they hang. Wheels maneuver very easily.

Good for Larger Family
After owning this cart for a month I liked this laundry cart enough to buy a second for my sister as a wedding gift. Having the four separate bags works nicely for our larger family. I do white (hot), warms, cold light colors and cold dark colors. Having owned it for over a year, now, there have been some drawbacks, but mostly if I'm being nit-picky. First, I would not call these bags canvas, but more like a cotton twill. They are stitched together well enough, but not for heavy duty use. The loops which hold the handles have frayed because the cut edge of the fabric was not finished. Also, some stitching is starting to come apart on the bag, but nothing I can't stitch back up on the sewing machine. Second, because the bags and handles are on an angle they tend to slide forward when hanging in the cart. Third one of the screws near the wheel has a tendency to come loose, even when tightened well. Fourth (this is probably my biggest pet peeve) in order to not have the metal handles tangle up when I'm dumping laundry into our top load machine I have to get the handles just right, pull the bag taut, flip the whole thing upside down and release the handles. Even then the handles sometimes tangle and the hooked ends catch onto clothes while am trying to dump the load in. This annoyance is probably specific to me because we have a lot of laundry! If you don't have to do laundry very often, having to wrangle the handles may not bug you. Overall, it's been a good purchase and for the price I hope it will last!

Omg yes!
The media could not be loaded. I love this thing it’s very practical really super easy to put together, although I don’t like the white color I will be dying the fabric because it kind a looks hospitaly, but other than the color it’s a great help to sort my laundry. I definitely recommend this item.

Solved (most of) my laundry needs
The good: 4 sections; good bag size; relatively easy assembly; sturdy construction (so far) The bad: It seems the seams of the bags won't last too long; but it is very premature to judge I live in a high rise building that has a shared laundry room (5 machines to serve about 60 units; you do the math). And I hate doing laundry. So laundry days were always busy sorting clothes, putting them into laundry containers, loading the containers into a wheeled cart and dragging the cart to/from the laundry room. Which was a real pain. With this sorter, I only have to roll it out of my unit to the laundry room, so it takes a lot of the pain away. I needed something sturdy so that I could move it in and out, up and down elevators, all around the building, and the plastic sorters found at the stores seemed too flimsy. So far so good, this has taken 2 laundry days with no problem at all. Definitely recommend it.

VERY sturdy metal frame
VERY sturdy metal frame, beautiful and clean and organized looking. I split a bathroom with 3 other family members, and each of us now have 1 of the 4 sacs on the rack. I'm trying to force them to use them (I name labelled each sack) so we could all monitor how much laundry we produce per week, who's bag fills up first... I have read though that the quality of the canvas is not so sturdy and has torn in other reviews quickly... I've only had it for one week, not even washed the first batch of anyone's laundry yet... Not sure what I will do when and if I run into that problem. Hope it doesn't tear because I'm too lazy and inexperienced I think to reinforce or sew new bags for it.

... about the same but were nowhere near being as sturdy as this item
I have had other laundry separators that have cost about the same but were nowhere near being as sturdy as this item. Not difficult to assemble and it has large wheels which means it can move smoothly on carpets. The others had just been plugged in this one has everything screwed in so it doesn't fall apart. It is the envy of the laundry room and I have told others where I got it so may see more in this building soon.

10 ans et toujours utilisé
Très pratique, solide et facilite la séparation des types de vêtements. Une poche correspond à la charge d'une machine, c'est donc très simple d'évaluer le moment de passer à l'action.
