Stylish and functional

I purchased this hamper for a specific location in my laundry room and the fit is perfect. I previously had an uncovered hamper in that space and it was unsightly and embarrassing to have dirty clothes sitting out in the open. This solved my issues. Husband took about 45 minutes to assemble with no issues. I was pleasantly surprised with the capacity size. This holds a lot of laundry. The unit is solid and looks great and the opening mechanisms is smooth and the quality of the construction is excellent. This is a great value.

Great product

Wonderful! Instructions clear and easy to understand. Packaging was amazing, holes all lined up. Great product. Thought it was going to be too small but it's prefect. Could be taller but love it.

Good value but not “heavy duty”

When you open the box it looks like someone who was fired from Ikea for being too sadistic designed it but once you get started, it goes pretty easily. First; don’t use an electric or drill screwdriver. I over torqued the very first step and had to take a few screws out and pack the stripped holes with some glue and bits of cardboard to repair them. This was my mistake not the manufacturer. Everything goes pretty easy but I had trouble figuring out the metal pins and their placement. Basically, the short double tipped pins go to the bottom so that the bins can pivot. There are two pins facing in opposite directions form the center panel and one on each outer panel facing to the inside. The bins are held from the bottom by these pins. Be careful because mine were loose in the holes and fell out when I was moving the pieces to the next step. Better to put them in place right before you “hang” the bins. They are small and easy to lose so be careful. It is tricky keeping the pins in place to suspend the bin and securing the bottom base at the same time. An extra set of hands would be a help. The instructions aren’t clear but once you understand the overall plan, it makes sense. There are three solid metal dowels. The short ones go on the inside top of the side panel and the long one penetrates both sides of the center panel. These stop the bins from falling forward when open. See my photo. The item looks great and will meet my needs. The laundry baskets aren’t that big so if you generate a lot of dirty clothes, they may be too small.

Nightmare to put together, poor directions

I don't know what sadist designed this, bjt they really outdid themselves. Then they must jave commissioned a blind person to write the directions. I wanted to love this, but the assembly alone had me wanting to throw it out the window.

Perfect for recycling bin

I bought this laundry sorter to use as a recycling bin just like the most people, who reviewed the item, which was very helpful. To put together isn’t hard as the manual with the instructions is clear, but it is time consuming. Took me about 1 1/2 hours to assemble as I ran into some small issues. I suggest the use of power tool as this cabinet assembly requires a lot of screws. As you can see on the pictures I use one side for paper and the other for plastic, glass and metal. I chose to keep the linen laundry bags for extra sturdiness and put paper or plastic bag inside them. The only concern I have is the weird odor coming from the wood. I think it’s the paint that smells. 10 days later my kitchen still smells not as strong. Some of the ribs were misplaced and a little bend throughout transportation. Personally this doesn’t bother me and overall very happy with the choice I’ve made buying this product.

Great little product!

Family of 5, in US, living in house. We got for our laundry room as a place to put all the laundry that is just tossed in there, but not ready to be part of a major wash load. We purchased 2 units. One for whites and darks, the other for towels. Look at the dimensions carefully as these are not huge containers. They're great for our purposes (overflow) , or for a bedroom/bathroom. For a family, they're not large enough to store several days worth of laundry. For the unit - It took a little bit of time to assemble and nothing too crazy. Lots of pieces. I reccomend getting a small furniture ratchet (for screws) and wood glue (for added stability). Material is fiber board, and at this price point, should really expect that. Overall quality is really great, and looks amazing... again esp for the price point. We purchased new handles because the misses preference of a different style. Overall, I highly reccomend.

Best decision I’ve made!

Had this item for about 2 wks. 1st wk I was intimated by assembly process. Finally put it together myself (boyfriend takes forever with things ????????). Actually was easier than I thought. It comes with linen bags inside each compartment. I felt the bags took away from space inside so I ditched them. Overall I do laundry once a week for the 2 people. It’s cold wether so we double up on layers of clothes and these have held up with no problem. Including our linen used for the week. Of course again that was without the bags inside so that’s why I gave it 4 stars. Not to mention the fact that the drawers do not stay opened without you holding them. It’s inside out hallway and next to the bathroom with flower pots on top so a really cute way to jazz up the laundry. Overall great sturdy (not thin wood like other products be) worth the buy... don’t mind corner that is a quick fix for the door not to damage.

Just fine

This hamper is just as described. As others have noted, the bins are on the small side. I knew this, and they are fine for me. It looks and works great. I had no trouble assembling it. Did it myself in about an hour. There are a lot of parts. You have to be gentle while assembling. The “wood” material is soft, so if you try to force in a piece or over tighten a screw it will crumble and then you lose structural integrity. So I guess it’s not lifetime quality, but fine for the price.

Very nice piece but not that easy to assemble if you are working alone.

We really like this item. One thing to remember when assembling is that when they say “rivet at the back” they mean the recess part that the back panels fit into. There are no rivets.

It’s alright for the price

Very nice looking piece, easy to put together, not very sturdy. We put it together and the doors keep rubbing on one side of the frame so it’ll eventually wear down, we tried to fix this but no luck. Still good for what we intend to use it for (recycling bins)

Good product

Fairly easy to put together & the instructions were well written. The materials are mostly particle board - but I expected that for the price. The bins open easily & it’s much nicer to look at than regular laundry hampers. Overall impressed.

Great product

Finally received this unit. Great product. Perfect for a couple or single person. Not a huge unit, so wouldn't work for large family, but it's perfect for my husband and I. Took a while to receive after ordering, but it was worth the wait. Fairly easy to assemble as well.
