Difficult to maneuver when empty, but great purchase!

I bought this laundry sorter because it was a lot cheaper than the other ones on the market. I was so excited for it to arrive, and when it came it lived up to my expectations! This may have been an assembly error, but has been the only problem I have had with it. The wheels have a hard time rolling on my plush carpet, and when you pull/drag/push it, the frame seems to twist a little bit lifting the front wheel off the ground. I have noticed that it only does that when it is empty (which makes sense). When I have it loaded with laundry, it rolls a lot more smoothly. My favorite things about this laundry sorter is that the cloth bins are very durable, and heavy duty. The Velcro that is used to attach each of the bags to the frame is heavy duty and is something my 2 year old can't undo (which I was worried about). Each bin is the perfect size, and holds about 2-3 large loads per bin. The overall size of this sorter is perfect, and fits well through the doorways of our tiny old farmhouse. It is even the perfect size to fit in a small corner of my bedroom. I think I will be purchasing another one to put in my baby's nursery. It makes laundry sorting so much easier without having the clutter of those small plastic laundry baskets everywhere. I like this product because I can put my dirty laundry in, wheel it to the laundry room, and leave it there out of the way until its time to fold laundry. It makes it easier because instead of having to dump my clothes out on the bed after they have been wrinkled, I can immediately hang them up on the rack, fold them and put them in the baskets, and take it to each of our different rooms. I will be sewing a label on each bin to let my kids (especially my husband) know what colors go in which bin.

Watch the video! Do not put the wheels on right away!

I made the mistake of trying to use the printed directions that came with the box. They show the base being assembled and then the wheels going on (it doesn't actually say to do it in that order, just shows it in a drawing) so that is what I did. This makes using your body weight to attach the upright poles virtually impossible unless you are a lot taller and stronger than I am. So watch the video here on Amazon, instead. Frankly you don't even need to attach the wheels if you aren't going to wheel it around. All the complaints about the velcro on the bags? Maybe once you've used it awhile it loosens up or loses its grip but fresh out of the box, it is a struggle for anyone with arthritic fingers to pry apart the first time. As far as the bags being hard to empty, reach in and take out as much as you can, then push the bottom of the bag up to get to the rest. I think it's a good buy for what it is; I found it easy to put together by myself; it holds a lot of dirty laundry; and it is as sturdy as securely seating all the interconnecting parts makes it. If it feels really wobbly then likely you don't have all the poles firmly pushed all the way in.

I don’t hate it but I don’t love it.

The instructions don’t come with words, just pictures. The hanging bar isn’t as tall as i thought it would be. doesn’t work well for adult clothes but works great for my children’s clothes that I don’t dry.

Awesomeness!

This is the 3rd laundry sorter that I've gotten. I had to return the other 2 for being tiny. This one has bags that actually fit a load of laundry. It's a good weight. It's pretty sturdy. I can roll it around with all 3 bags full without it feeling like it's wobbly. It was super easy to put together. I recommend it. It's a great product for the price.

great for small loads

this product was super simple to put together, i didn't read the instructions, had to redo a few bars, but still super easy to assemble. one of the bags however, came stained. not sure from what, but overall, pretty happy with this little cart. would not recommend more than maybe a load and a half, and don't over load the hanging bar

Problematic assembly

This is a photo of how much of the top cross bar I had to remove in order for it to fit as designed. I have no idea how someone would be able to make this work. Luckily, I’m a do-it-yourselfer. Even after it’s still pretty flimsy. I don’t have a lot of confidence in it to hold my clothes but we’ll see

Love that you can adjust the height of the bar

I bought one like this years ago. The bags and the velcro that holds them are a lot sturdier than my old one. I like this model because I can hang the clothes up as I take them out of the dryer and the bar is high enough that they don't hang down into dirty clothes.

You get what you pay for

This item is okay. the whole thing still has a LOT of wobble once assembled. Not sturdy at all. I pulled something out from under the wheel and the whole thing fell over. The cross bar for hanging just slides in, it is not secured and comes out easily. I don't recommend using it to hang anything heavy. It's acceptable for my uses as a laundry sorter and to hang things to dry temporarily. That's about it. The laundry bags have a sort of weird fishy smell to them coming out of the package. I'm hoping they air out soon. The instructions were just pictures and the pieces, while labeled in the instructions A, B, C, etc, are not labeled on the parts.

Smells bad

It’s super flimsy and the fabric smells like fish. I will give it a chance to air out and then see what happens. Watch the instructions as you have to put two of the same pieces different ways for it to line up.

It makes things easier.

I live in an apartment building. This rack fits in the bathroom perfectly and doesn't take up much room. As I discard laundry I put it in its proper bag. I can just wheel it down to the laundry room and load the machines. I can keep my hangers on the bar and hang my shirts directly from the dryer. I can also use the bags to organize other non hanging items and put them away in a couple of minutes. It does make things easier.

Perfect Laundry Hamper

Have had this thing for almost 2 years now and its still sturdy and is perfect to help us sort the laundry. We use the closet rod to hang things we need to send for dry cleaning or to hang things which need to be ironed. This has been perfect for our use

Great value, very well built

I picked this over other laundry carts because it was cheapest but I am pleasantly surprised how well this is constructed. It's very solid and the bags are bigger than expected. The bags are held on by Velcro so they are easy to remove, a nice touch. All around I am very pleased with this product.
