Functional easy to use

We loved this product not only to help with blocking the light on sunny days but also with the mosquitos. Easy to put on and store as it folds to a frisbee like shape and can store perfectly in our stroller storage pouch.

A summer baby must have!

I love this product for a summer time baby! My daughter was born in April & we had a traditional car seat cover but I hated how hot it got in there and that I wasn’t able to see her. I spend a lot of time outdoors so the fact that it is also a big shield is amazing! I wish I had this with my other two kids and the price is amazing for the quality!

Good for bugs but not great for sun

I bought this hoping for an effective sun blocking solution for stroller rides that still allowed ventilation. Unfortunately, the sun shade part is so narrow that it really only blocks sun coming from directly over head or directly in front. We needed a bit more side protection in the form of day flip-down flaps or something. The cover fits perfectly over the seat but makes it so that you can't use the carry handle, which is a bit annoying. Going to return it.

So far so good!

We have used this several times when out and it’s sunny or we want to avoid bugs crawling to the baby. Practical & easy storage. Seems good quality. No issues.

Not as pictured- no gray, all black.

We bought this for the Mesa carseat, and it's okay, but the Jake black is ALL black. The picture that they have as the default is inaccurate, which was a bummer to me. I bought this on Amazon for a few dollars more than Buy Buy Baby because it shows it as being black and gray, while the BBB one was all black. Unfortunately, it's the same as BBB- all black, no gray. They need to change their picture as it is misleading. I've included pictures of the product on the Mesa so you can see for yourself. The only gray is for the sun visor that rolls out, but it still isn't as pictured. The sun visor feels thin and cheap, but I suppose it'll do the job. It snaps onto the bottom to stay put, but nothing on the side so I'm not sure how it'll hold up on a windy day. The wiring is pretty strong to hold everything up and off baby, which is great. The fit for the Mesa is pretty spot on, as it's made for it, but I wish the sun visor was a better quality for the price. I thought that the sun visor zipped down and around the edges rather than just snapping at the bottom. When the sun visor isn't in use, it bundles up and rolls back into the attached zipper pouch, so it's nice that it's always attached. No way of forgetting it. When the whole thing isn't in use, it balls up into a flat circle and gets clipped shut, but we weren't able to figure out how to clip it back so it's just wrapped up in itself, which is fine. Not sure if we are going to keep it, but it is certainly better than nothing and probably a better fit than a universal one.

A Must Have In the South

We bought this to put over our Chicco Keyfit 30 Infant Carrier and it fits perfectly. I love how it keeps the biting bugs away. The other day I was driving with my baby in the car and some prehistoric looking flying bug somehow got in my car. I wasn't sure if it would bite or not, but knowing that the baby was safe behind the mesh was worth every penny I spent on this. The sun shield works well as long as the sun is overhead. If it's on the sides, it's a gamble. However, it's nice that you can have the shield up and still have air circulation for the baby. I cannot say enough good things about this product!

Hard to use

I found this hard to install, it did not provide 100% seal and sits kind of odd around the car seat

Don’t recommend

This is not a good sun shield for use when walking. The shield part is just a strip down the middle leaving the sides open so if the sun is on any kind of angle it comes in right on the baby’s face making it pretty useless. Also, the pop up design is annoying.

Fits Clek Liing

A little expensive, but definitely works well! We put it on our Clek Liing and it fits well. Once in a while a bug sneaks in there somehow, but protected our newborn well overall!

Spend your money elsewhere.

Poor quality for the price. Returned it. Seemed too flimsy and there was only one piece of velcro holding down the sun/rain flap. Also really hot for baby.
