Invest in this, and try to save your seat from damage

Putting this under your carseat for your child, will save your car interior quite a bit of damage. If you have ever taken out a child car seat from your car, you'll find TONS of food particles, and lost snacks. Things like puffs, yogurt melts, M&M's, crackers, etc... Kids tend to drop pieces, and usually we find them when we pull the car seat out to clean it. By then, it has been ground into the car interior and can leave stains, or crumbs that are a pain. This item will keep the crumbs and bits from getting to your interior allowing for easier clean up. To install, you simply put the tab between the vertical and horizontal cushions of your seat. It will still allow you to access the hook points for the car seat without any trouble. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is the front pocket is effectively useless for any child whose feet dangle down. We tried putting things in the pockets, and our son kicked his feet and crushed the snacks we had placed there. I would have preferred that they either did not put the pockets there, or maybe make them hang lower. This is a pretty minor issue, and I still really like the cover. If you ever take your carseat to an inspection point (our local hospital has these in the community a couple times a year), they will tell you that they don't recommend any third party piece, and I understand their concern, but I don't see any added risk by having it there. Nobody there could explain why this would add a risk for my son, they just said it was their policy. The key for me, is that the car seat doesn't move, and with this installed, the seat doesn't move. Overall, a good investment for me. I like it, and I think it would be a great baby shower gift.

I really like the width of the bottom or seat portion

Today I put my Munchkin Auto seat proctor into my backseat, I actually bought two one for each grandchilds car seat. I really like the width of the bottom or seat portion. It goes past the carseats (one is a backless booster seat the other is a booster with a back) and takes up a good portion of the seat offering a nice range of protection. The flap in the back tucks in between the seat and the seat back nicely keeping the seat protector in place. The feature I like the most and the reason I purchased these protectors is that the protector goes down the front and into the pouches for whatever treasures they decide they would like to bring along. The problem I was having with the booster seats was that their feet go past the carseat and rest on my backseat getting it pretty dirty. I have light colored seats so the dirt showed up very fast. This is the perfect solution to the problem! I had my car detailed today and now I can keep it nice and clean with my littles in the back! I utilize customer reviews heavily when I am trying to decide on a purchase and consider reviews a valuable tool for us as consumers to make informed choices as to where we spend our money. Sometimes I will come back and give more information should I notice new things along the way. When looking at reviews I do take into consideration personal preference that may not reflect the product itself. I will do my best to acknowledge when something in my review is personal preference as opposed to something about the product itself. If You have a Leased Vehicle, You need this!

Take it from me who just turned my 2 year old SUV leased car in and was dinged for car seat indentations. So when I got my new leased car, this was one of the first things I purchased , even before installing our son's car seat and overall I am very satisfied with this protector for its thick no-slip material offering ample protection , a few extra pockets to hold your kids toys, sipper etc & above all its low cost BUILD QUALITY: - Despite its small appearance and package size it is actually quite thick and offers ample protection against car seats indenting your seats - The four corners are extra thick and textured to prevent car seat from slipping USING IT: - No matter how much I tightened my child's car seat , the bottom never gave away and still offered good protection against the car seat's edges - The foot pockets are a bit small but are still useful for carrying your child's toys or sipper - Due to the textured nature of the material , the child's car seat does not slip one bit over it & it stays firmly in place - It does not extend too much on the sides of the base of the car seat but it does offer some protection against spills - Food crumbles are another thing , they just fly everywhere! THE NOT SO GOOD: - The only minor complaint I had was that the rear portion got somewhat in the way and made installing the lower LATCH anchors a bit tricky. This could be a unique case for my car ( '17 Nissan Murano) FINAL THOUGHTS: This is a great thing to get to protect your car seat's whether you buy or lease . And if you DO lease your car, trust me its going to pay itself over 10 times its cost when you turn your car in!

sigue marcando el asiento

Lo compre por la unica razon de que el asiento del bebe no marcara el asiento. Sin embargo, un dia que lo retire para limpiarlo, pude ver las marcas que dejo el asiento, asi que para ese porposito, pues no me sirvio mucho, Es de buen material y queda perfecto en mi auto, no se nota (por ser color negro) y la bolsita que tiene al frente es muy funcional. Creo que el unico detalle esta en que el material con el que esta hecha la parte de abajo , deberia ser mas gruesa o en su defecto ser de otro material mas rigido que distribuya mejor el peso del asiento del bebe y asi evitar que se hagan las marcas en el asiento del auto. Tres estrellas creo que me estoy viendo generoso.

Seat Protector that Actually Works!

This is a great Seat Protector. It has a small mesh storage compartment which can be used to place small items such as napkins, wipes, and/or hand sanitizer. One thing as a parent you want to ensure with Seat Protectors is that it protects your car seat. By that, I mean your car seats are also susceptible to wear and tear such as permanent creases in your new Leather or Clothe Seats. Even though Seat Protectors are great and preventing staining you want to ensure that your Seats are intact. Remember you placing a Car Seat that can weigh between 25lbs to 40lbs alone and then your putting a baby, child, toddler into that seat which adds an additional 30lbs to 40lbs of weight. So gravity is pushing down on the Car Seat, Seat Protector and eventually your Seat. Therefore you want to ensure that your Car Seats are not damaged from this weight. To repair Car Seats is not cheap especially if there Leather. This Seat Protector has a nice layer of padding to prevent this, as I often inspect my Back Seats when cleaning therefore I'm worried about damaged to my Car Seats. This is made of a good quality plastic and has a slight thickness which provides could support for your Childs Car Seat and protection to your Car Seat. With a bigger Car Seat, I didn't notice any sliding. The Car Seat sat firmly on the Seat Protector and I felt it somewhat conformed to my seat. It didn't sit either raised or too high but essentially embraced my seat which I believe prevented it from sliding. Like a brand new baseball glove that needs to be worked in, this Seat Protector very much fit to the mould of my seats. The only negative comment I would make about this Seat Protector; with a Car Seat installed in a Standard Car, the access to the front mess pockets is difficult. An SUV or Van that has higher seats would be make it easier to access this mess pockets. You have to sit on the ground or contort your body to access these mess products or bring the front seat quite forward. However, other than that, great Seat Protector!

Good if you actually need a half cover

As advertised it’s actually pretty good, the loss of the stars is basically due to the fact that after using it, it’s basically useless to purchase a half size one like this. Your seat gets indented from the car seat forward facing, and gets kicked rear facing so isn’t protected. Spend a few bucks more and get a full back. If you really just want the half size then this is a great item, super easy to install and wipes clean.

Están geniales, no se notan y de muy buen material

Mis dos niños pequeños usan sillas en el auto y el coche anterior quedó muy marcado, así que compré estos protectores y me parece que fue una gran compra, no se deslizan, y es muy práctica la bolsita al frente para guardar artículos pequeños. No se notan casi nada en los asientos de color negro, lo que si es que no se ven como en la imagen de la caja, quedan prácticamente al borde de la silla. Los recomiendo al 100%

Excelente acabado

Está hecha de un material que se ve muy resistente a las abrasiones y no se desliza por todos lados. Tiene una especie como de cojincito abajo que se puede insertar entre el asiento y el respaldo del auto para que se fije en su lugar. Útil cuando el bebé es pequeño y el asiento debe ir al revés ya que dubre donde sus piesitos tocan el asiento, y útil para los derrames de líquidos cuando el pequeñin es más grande. Muy bueno para el precio.
