Life changer for my teenage son with premature hair loss

I was skeptical about trying this , but we have tried everything to help my teenage son with his thinning hair and had no luck. He was so self conscious about his hair and I was desperate. This stuff is truly a miracle. When I put it on his head the first time, he just lit up with the biggest smile. It looks so real it's insane. I am terrible at any kind of hair styling or makeup, so I was afraid this would be difficult to use. It is so simple. You just have to make sure that you don't rub it into the scalp which was the mistake I made the first time as it's supposed to lay on top of the hair and blend in with the hair. It's amazing how it works. It literally takes 2 minutes to do his hair before school in the morning and thanks to this product he's so much more confident. The absolute only downfall to it is that it's not waterproof and it doesn't actually help to regrow hair or anything like that but if there's nothing you can do to bring your hair back, this is a wonderful backup plan. I am so thankful we found this and would 110% recommend to anyone.

Helps with to hide alopecia issues

This is a very good product when you need to hide bald spots. Most people don't know that I'm using it. It does take practice and I use the "sprayer" to help me distribute it more evenly. I cannot use it on at the very front of my scalp because it's obvious. You can see through my thin hairline and so I have to use the Toppik spray (which is not fibers, just color). I would recommend but do admit there is a learning curve to using this. This product is not cheap and so that learning curve can turn out to be a bit on the expensive side.

Size Matters

I use Toppik religiously. I love the product and recommend it to anyone experiencing hair loss. However I ordered what I thought was the largest size, and ended up getting half of what I thought. No one’s fault really, just double check your order before hitting “submit”.

Expensive, But Works Great

I use this every day, but I also shower at night and "no-poo" my baby fine hair every few days. If you do not, then the fibers might get on your pillowcase. With a new bottle, I peel off the plastic tape that is covering the shaker, then tape off 1/2 of the opening with blue painter's tape - otherwise too much will come out too fast. You do not actually shake this on to your hair, but instead into your part lines. Part your hair, hold the bottle at 45 degrees or so, and gently tap the fibers into the part while holding your other hand over your forehead to keep fibers off from there. You may have to do a quick wipe of your forehead with a tissue. If you have a lot of fibers on your forehead, you are tapping too much and too hard - or you didn't seal off 50% of the shaker with painter's tape. It does not take a lot to make your hair look fuller, just a tap-tap-tap and them move on to the next area. This would not work well for extensive baldness (nothing does!), but works well for the dreaded "wide part" problem. Dark hair would be more of a challenge on a light-skinned person, as the contrast between hair and scalp would make the fibers show more than with medium brown hair. They have a really small travel-size that I carry in my handbag, so you can try it without spending much $...you would not have to tape the shaker part on that one! One suggestion for Toppik company is to make the darn container transparent - it is completely opaque, so there is no way to know when you are running out, except to shake it in the sink. Dumb, as people would order sooner, if they knew they were running low.

Answer to my prayers!

Due to a medical condition, my hair became very thin in the crown and widened my part. I also have a small area at the top of head that is nearly bald. For years I struggled with trying to hide the thinning areas with no success. I was limited on how I could style my hair and felt self conscience all the time.this product has changed all that for me. Now it's not magic but once you master your application technique it really makes all the difference. This product doesn't stick to your hair- it settles on your scalp, that's what gives you the coverage. The goal is to apply it lightly so that you don't just end up with colored blotches on your scalp. Dusting it lightly will make The powder settle into the follicles creating the look of more hair. You want to section off the hair just around your part (so you don't get any on the scalp of your part) then apply around the area. Then when you lay the sectioned hair back over the areas where you applied, you will have a nice natural look. You can also put the back side of a comb over your part to cover and very lightly apply toppik around it for added coverage. You always want a thin layer of your hair laying over an area where you applied the product. If you get to much in one spot, just scrape it around your scalp with a comb to push it into the surrounding areas follicles. Once you get the application down it looks fantastic and undetectable. I had told my husband when I ordered toppik and he was beyond sceptical that it would work. But when I applied it and showed him he was amazed and couldn't believe how thick my hair looked. He literally studied my head and couldn't detect the powder. If you have been struggling with thinning hair try this, and keep trying until you get the hang of the application. It has made an huge difference in my life and my self esteem and can help you too

Ähnelt eher einer Staubschicht

Ich habe 2 verschiedene Brauntöne hier von. Der eine ist fast schwarz und der andere fast grau ( dazwischen gibt es keinen Farbton mehr ). Davon abgesehen, dass das Puder direkt auf die Kopfhaut rieselt und dort regelrechte Farbkleckse zaubert ( Ausschüttung viel zu groß ), hat es kein bisschen Glanz . Man sieht aus, als käme man aus einer Baustelle. Selbst bei vorsichtigstem Gebrauch, hat man das ganze Waschbecken voller Partikel , da reicht auch ein Kopfschütteln. Kratzt man sich am Kopf, hat man das Puder sofort unter den Fingernägeln. Regen und Schweiß lassen es sehr wohl verlaufen und man muss damit rechen, auf schwarzes Zeug im Gesicht angesprochen zu werden. Ich kenne eine andere, günstigere Variante die das alles nicht hat. Schade, für das Geld ( man kommt aber wirklich SEHR lange damit aus ).

Mi papá tiene entradas (algo que también a mi me preocupa a largo plazo) usualmente desde que se enteró gracias a un tik tok que estas cosas existen las compró y las amó pero en si esta "solución" únicamente sirve para "Disfrazar" el problema, continuaba con el famoso "consejo" del título de mi review. suena un tanto radical pero para la persona que tenga los medios es algo realmente milagroso: trasplante capilar en estambul (turquía) haciendo cuentas sale más económico y eficaz (créanme tenemos varios pacientes que se han sometido a tratamientos capilares de alta especialidad en méxico haciendo inversiones de aprox más de 150 a 200 mil pesos. si haces cuentas en estadía pasajes etc es muchísimo más barato y eficaz el tratamiento en estambul sale al rededor de 35000 pesos. en verdad los resultados son increíbles, (esto no es un comercial o así) quizás sea un consejo para alguien que busca una solución radical y eficaz con un mínimo de inversión comparado a precios nacionales. Pd. espero no empezar a quedarme calvo (por genética) jajajaj si algo asi comienza a pasar ya tenemos solucion (momentanea con toppik o radical con transplante capilar en estambul) lol

Never used hair fibres before…my hair is thinning so I just add 6-7 shots from the applicator pump. It works well. My 7 year old says my hair is growing back lol. Can’t go crazy because it will coat your scalp as well. You can use your own hairspray to hold it in place… It is waterproof and you’ll need to wash it out with soap. But yeah this is a game changer for guys who are thinning.

Il prodotto è il migliore nel suo genere, ma un aumento di 7 euro in un anno è a dir poco scandaloso... con 25 euro si prendono prodotti analoghi, leggerissimamente inferiori di qualità (con poca polvere rimasta si fa fatica a coprire bene al contrario del Toppik) ma almeno non si spende un occhio per durare con la boccetta da 27gr un mese e mezzo per diradamenti importanti... per una questione di principio, fin quando non lo riporteranno massimo a 32 euro potranno scordarsi i miei soldi

Bin gar nicht zufrieden!

Ich wollte mal ein anderes Haarprodukt testen. Leider ein Fehler. Das Produkt hält, trotz Fixirspray, nicht richtig in den Haaren. Nach kurzer Zeit rutscht es in die Stirn und im oberen Kopfbereich sieht man die lichten Stellen wieder. Wenn man es aufträgt kommt nur Staub/Pulver raus. Das legt sich gar nicht richtig an die vorhandenen Haare. Bin echt enttäuscht. Für den Preis hatte ich mehr erwartet. Nie mehr wieder... Keine Kaufempfehlung...
