This is a miracle for my hair!

A total game changer in terms of how I style my hair. I have been fighting with my hair for many years - trying special shampoos, changing my part, putting eye shadow on the thin areas, etc. I ordered this product with fairly low expectations, thinking if it does anything at all to help, I'll be happy. Well not only does Toppik really hide my thin areas, I've also learned to use it to "plump" up my whole hair style, giving me a much prettier blow-out look. First I make several parts in the thinner area along my hairline, and using the hairline tool to keep the fibers from falling onto my face, sprinkle a little bit on each section. Then I very gently comb the hair back to the way I want to style it, maybe adding just a little more fiber right along the edge of my hairline. I don't even use hairspray to lock it in place unless it's very windy outside. The Toppik stays in my hair until I shampoo it out, which is 3 or 4 days. It works so much better than eyeshadow because the little fibers cling to each hair instead of just coloring my scalp. Much more natural looking! It does take a little bit of practice - don't give up! Try using different angles to apply it, and the hairline tool really helps too. Also you may have to try a few colors to get a perfect match, or even try mixing two colors. I have seen some people mention the expense of using Toppik, but compared to the cost of hair growth medication or the pain of surgery and the gamble you take concerning the results, I consider hair fibers a huge bargain. How much is it worth, to gain confidence and freedom from the hassle of fighting with your hair? I consider it an investment in myself just like buying clothes and makeup. I'm so glad I decided to investigate this avenue of self improvement and I plan to never be without it. You can try different shades by ordering the small bottles, and then switch to buying the larger size which is the cheaper way to purchase. I hope this helps someone else decide to try Toppik. BTW, I have not been paid for reviewing Toppik.

Small but works

I read the negative reviews and I think people were more upset about the size. I was traveling so I didn't need a large bottle (I just bought 2) but if you can get pass the size and have a thin spot to cover it really works!! I was VERY impressed, it's not messy and holds up under sweat & hairspray. I will say if you have a larger thin section to cover, I'm not sure how natural it would look. I had a small thin spot at the very top and it blended well.

TINY container but useful.

I'd bought this product for 5 years for my brother who has hair loss. The product itself works wonders. HOWEVER, Be aware this is a very small container. 3gr my cutie was bigger than it. It was my absolute fall for not reading. I've have usually by it from a different website For the same price but the Big bottle so I was surprised when I got this one. I needed it in a rush so I paid the price.

Please Pay Attention to Details

I love the product and have used it for many years on and off but I did not pay attention to the description and so the size of this particular item ended up being very tiny! The product itself is great though!!

Green undertone

The product does what it says it does but the color match is really bad for me. I have light brown hair so I ordered it in light brown. The depth of the color is accurate for me but the color leans toward green and my hair has a golden tone to it so the product is visible. However it really does hide thinning areas and doesn't rub off etc I just cannot use it because the color really doesn't match mine

I purchased the medium brown, in the smallest size so I could try it out. The bottle is very tiny, but I have to admit that I am very surprised by how many uses I have gotten out of it so far! Although, you can not see through the bottle so it is impossible to say how many uses I have left in it too, as the product itself is pretty much weightless. I have to say that I kind of have a love/hate relationship with this product. I am torn between giving this product a 2 or 3 star rating. In the end, I went with a 3. This is because I feel that perhaps this product would work better for someone who has hair that is not quite as thin as mine is. The medium brown that I ordered is much darker than I had expected. I personally feel that the medium brown is much more of a dark brown. So, I will say that this product does indeed help make your hair appear thicker. I feel that it helps to give my very thin and very fine hair a bit of lift/volume at the root. I appreciate this about this product. I am able to hide the spots where my hair is super thin and pretty much balding. From a distance I love the way this product helps my hair!! With that being said, I can not bring myself to actually love this product as much as I want to. I have tried so many different ways of applying it, and I still haven't found a way of doing it that it is less noticeable closer up. I am very self conscious that people will notice it, as it does end up blotchy and in small chunks. I am unable to apply this near my hair part, as it is extremely obvious that it is not natural. The best way to apply that I have found, is to make several parts in my hair an inch or two from where I leave my hair parted and sprinkle lightly along those. But any closer than a half inch or so from where my hair will stay, and it's a disaster. Big dark brown blotches and white scalp, ugh it's a ugly mess. There is no smell to the product, and I can't say that I have experienced any irritation or discomfort from it. This surprised me a lot, as I have very sensitive skin and my scalp has been extremely sensitive since I tried using Monat products to help with my hairloss. I also do not feel like this product has or will contribute to further hair loss. I also have been pleasantly surprised that I have not had any transfer issues with this product. There is no issues with going to bed or laying down or putting a hood of a jacket up over my head. No color transfer at all. I do not think I will reorder this product. I may try another brand and see if it is any better in being less clumpy or obvious in the sunlight or closer up. Or, I may just go back to order more of the Batiste Dry Shampoo spray for dark hair, as I felt like that product was so much less obvious and I could spray it right on my scalp and nobody would really notice it. Plus it smelled nice lol. Like I said, I want to love it.... but I just can't. Being a female with hair loss is very very difficult.

Good first impression

Couldn’t believe the results! I’ve only tried this once and I’m still getting used to how to apply this the best way but what I got from the first application was unreal (see picture). It felt like one minute I was nearly bald and the next I had hair again. First impression was great. Feels and looks good. I just don’t know how long it’s going to last with the amount I need.

Not recommend

Due to the lockdown and not been able to have hair cut my bald patch on back of my head is more noticeable, I got this to see if it would hide it, basically you can tell it’s on soon as you touch it comes off and blows off easily and if it gets wet comes off. Basically it don’t stay on so don’t get it especially if your mates will rub back of your head when they see it’s got hair it won’t work

Misleading add very small!

Bought this product to try for the mother as she has bad hair loss due to previous brain hemmoridge, didnt really think that they would work as they was cheap, but they did and very well at that! Will definitely buy again and would recommend to anyone whos thinking of purchasing. Followed instructions, washed and blowdried hair, sprinkled over the top. Only thing we didnt do was use any kind of spray as it was just a trial run to see if they was any good. Yes they are.
