Fits 2005 Toyota Tacoma Double Cab with 5' Truck Bed
Fits a 2005 Tacoma Double Cab 4x4 with 5' truck bed with ease. I also have a Tyger roll truck bed cover. Looks great and has good visibility/air flow. Rain fly seems adequate, haven't tested it out yet. I could see the quality being an issue after a lot of uses but for the money it is hard to beat. The assembly isn't bad. Probably 15 minutes after you get used to it. First time took a while, but that was making sure I wasn't going to damage it.

Good tent, bad zipper
So I have camped with this tent about 25 times and since 2021 and love it BUT, the zipper for the entrance belongs on a very lite piece of clothing, not on a tent. It has been problematic almost since day one and finally gave out recently on a trip even though I have always been very careful opening and closing. It really is the very weakest part of this tent and a real shame they haven't changed it out to something more substantial.

For a 2013 Nissan frontier crew cab short bed, not too bad of a fit. I thought I would like to have a cool weather solution for camping when I don’t wanna take my big gas guzzling RV too far when I’m camping for just a few days . here is my assessment so far. Because I have a Nissan frontier crew cab short bed there weren’t very many options. Overall I think it fits pretty well but I can see a couple of potential issues if it isn’t treated right. Leave the straps loose until the tent poles are in place! It seems that the tent material is pretty tightly stretched down near the part that goes over the tailgate, no matter how I adjust the straps. You can see by the picture that the inner flap does not line up towards the back of the truck the way it supposed to. The other thing I noticed is that the tent pole that supports the front part of the tent seems to flare out from the truck bad. I guess that’s not really a problem per se. Anyway We’ll see how it works out. I May reinforce the seams down in the lower portion with my sewing machine. Will update after camping with it.

I bought this for mostly solo camping trips since I can pop it up and store it in a couple minutes. I like the fact this one doesn't have a bottom to it mainly because of mud and other stuff you don't really want in your tent. I've used this 15-20 times and almost every time someone asks me where I got it. It's kind of fun to tell them about it, since we both didn't know it even existed.

Can snag easily but otherwise amazing!
The tent held up in expected rain VERY well. My boyfriend and I put the rain fly up just in case and thank goodness we did. We were not wet at all. It is easy to set up and I like how it doesn’t have a bottom so you don’t have to clear the bed out entirely to install. One corner ripped after getting caught but otherwise the tent is pretty sturdy and sewn well. I got the coinciding air mattress which I reviewed as well. We plan to go on more camping trips now that we have a good set up!

Great Idea poor quality
I purchased this tent from the bed of my Toyota Tacoma. The first time I set this up it took me over 2 hours. I will admit that it is partly my fault because I should've set it up at home before going camping. The poles gave me a very difficult time because it seem as is if they were a bit to long and wouldn't go into the corner holders. It was a very difficult task because I didn't want to rip the tent. Finally after much time the tent was up and now I had to tie it down to the under body of my truck. Well thank goodness I took come extra bungies because there was no way that the straps were going to be work because they weren't long enough to reach. I had to make some adjustments to all the straps and find a different way to tie down the tent. Now, I will say this is a great idea to camp in. It gets me off the ground and allows me to use the bed of my truck. I like that I have a lot of height in the tent, the rain cover kept out the rain and dampness and the best part the tent came down quickly. I liked that I was able to leave my tent unassembled in the bed of the truck so that at my next stop it would be easier to set up and it was. It took me 25 mins to set up the tent at my 2nd location. The tent poles still gave me a difficult time and I was afraid I was going to break the poles or rip the compartment the holes go in. One of my biggest other complaints is that the netting on the tent is very very thin. What happens if you accidentally rip it? How do you repair it. A heavier netting should have been used. I haven't decided if I am sending this unit back for credit. I spent a $179 dollars on this unit and for the quality not sure if it was worth it. I have till Aug.8th to decide if I want to return it.

Nearly Perfect
Very happy with this tent, though there are a few flaws. The tent itself fits very well, if not a little snug. Some of the seams feel like they may be stretched a bit too tight, but nothing has ripped as of yet. The tent has not leaked on me with the rain fly on, though I haven't had it in very heavy rain, just light spring and fall showers. The window mesh feels pretty solid, and I had no issue with tearing or fraying on the mesh, and the window covers are just a touch loose, but not bad. The only real downside to the design itself is that there are some small gaps between the side of the front part and the tailgate. There's a roughly 2 inch diagonal gap at the very inside of the tailgate next to the tail lights, which can let on bugs, other critters and cold air. One way I've combatted this is to lay blankets in the bed of the truck that are big enough to slightly go up the sides of the bed. It solves both problems, but I do feel there should be a flap with a magnet in it to just fold up to the truck and keep bugs out. Tl;DR - Great tent for the money, no issues with leaks in light rain, use a floor covering to avoid cold air or unwelcome visitors.

Great Product
So no it did not fit well on my truck BUT! there is a but and why I am giving it 4 stars. if it fit better it would be 5 and if i could give it 4.5 i would It fits well enough to me useful and after I looked it up it's not made for my truck specifically and I have a 2004 colorado crewcab I'm not picky and use what I can it fits enough that it keeps me dry when it gets wet and I can get int and out easy I have used it for the last 2 years and it has no tears even for not fitting well and having to stretch it to its max it is holding up well. it has pockets on the inside that work well. it is easy to set up can do it with by yourself. I would and have recommended it to other friends and would buy again if this one ever wares out.

Useful and compact!!
Overall a good product that sets-up pretty easily. Not having a ‘floor’ is better than floored alternatives; much less complicated and leaves access to other things in your cargo bed once it’s up.

Have a BACKRACK on my F250 8ft bed. This isn't intended to be fitted with that installed as well so it made it difficult but you are still able to. The bed is still a little big for this tent. You need to stretch it a lot. Used some MacGyver duct tape on the inboard perimeter for a seal to weather and insects. Corner near the taillight tore a bit but I stopped pulling as soon as I felt it. Minimal but I can't see this lasting more than a handful of times. Got it on a massive deal so..

Works great
Works great for me. No complaints. I put this on an Australian Ford Ute which its not designed for but the size was in the same range. Worked fine.
