Exact Replacement but

This replaced my current carafe perfectly. I still don’t know how the original carafe developed a crack in the spout area since we hand wash it and are very careful with it. It never got bumped. Maybe when washing, the water was colder than the hot coffee that was last poured, causing it to crack from the temperature difference? Pretty poor if that’s the case. Never replaced a carafe from any other brand in all my years. This was expensive and I hope it last longer than this one did.

The Technivorm Mocaamaster is a Great Coffee Maker, but the Carafe is Gonna Break

I'm a bit of a coffee snob, so when I got my Technivorm Moccamaster, I was very pleased with the coffee it made. I didn't buy the thermal carafe because I make my coffee in small batches so it is always fresh (coffee stored in a thermal carafe can also change in taste over time). But, as noted by other reviewers, you will break the fragile carafe (I have several times) if you go with the Moccamaster with the glass carafe. I figure it's the cost of having really good coffee at home, and the cost of the coffee brewed at home beats the cost of buying already brewed coffee at a Starbucks or Peets (even factoring in the cost of replacing the carafe).

Expensive

Wow this was expensive. Handmade? Really? OK. I am not sure why a glass carafe is handmade in 2022, but whatever. It works just like the one the coffee maker came with. I bought two of them, just because the glass is fairly thin and so it is only a matter of time before I break another one. If you are here, you know you need it, just get it and move on with your life. The Moccamaster will last you the rest of your life, the carafe not so much.

Can't make coffee without a pot; well, in this case a carafe.

It took a while to convince myself to investment spend for a Technivorm Moccamaster brewer; but since it arrived I have enjoyed countless cups of really great tasting coffee. Until one day when accidentally the carafe was pushed off a counter top. Searching for a replacement, I went to Amazon and found the "part" available and at a competitive price. Best of all, next day delivery was available. By the way, I prefer glass over an insulated carafe because I am mostly brewing coffee for 2. We prefer our coffee fresh brewed, rather than taken from an insulated pot hours later.

Seems about ⅛ of a cup less than the original carafe

No problems. Almost identical great product just seems like it's about 1/8 of a cup short of the original carafe size because if I feel the reservoir to the very very top it will spill out of the top of the carafe whereas the previous one didn't.

Perfect original replacement

Unfortunately my original carafe cracked so nice to get a replacement. Downside is that these Are expensive. Almost price of an entire cheap budget coffee maker.
