Heating Plate just started to fail only after 6 years of daily use.

Was just the excuse to finally upgrade to a newer model (Cuisinart DCC-3200P1) that finally had a water filling window on the side which was the only irritant that we had lived with all these years. 6 years of daily use without a hiccup until the heating plate started failing is satisfactory. The coffee was still coming out just as piping hot from the day we purchased it in March 2017 but the heating plate wasn't keeping it as hot as it used to now intermittently although it hadn't completely failed. All the programming features have always worked flawlessly. We continue to go for Cuisinart since the features are easy to use and makes the hottest coffee for our needs. These are great programmable coffeemakers.

Best Coffeemaker

Purchased as a replacement for my 2nd Cuisinart. Coffee flavor is superior and product has a lot of options for auto on/off times, temperature of warming plate, brew strength for smaller amounts of coffee. My last Cuisinart lasted about 7 years. I think it could have been repaired if I could have gotten the bottom off, since I think it was leaking due to an inexpensive and replaceable part in the feeder tube. Highly recommend.

Works Great

This is our 3rd Cuisinart Coffee Maker. They are reliable and make great coffee. Two gripes: the design of the lid could be better. Make sure it is snapped on correctly. Secondly, if you want to go from "Auto" to "Brew" (you got up earlier than the time you have it set), they placed the "Clock" setting in between. I have to turn my kitchen light on to see anything. The selection line is a little silver line on the knob. Why make theprinting smaller and why stick "Clock" setting in the middle?

Looks great, but fingerprints!

This coffee maker looks really nice and makes good coffee and is easy to use, but I cannot get the fingerprints off the stainless steel parts of the appliance. Stainless steel wipes just make it worse. So frustrating

Best Coffee maker on Amazon - 1 year going strong.

This is likely the BEST coffee maker on Amazon. Forget all the other more (or less) expensive coffee makers with functions that you will never use. When you get a new coffee maker it's ohh and ahh for a few days but once you have to wake up at 5:15am every morning and haul yourself into a thankless job a simple coffee maker is essential. I've had drip makers, fancy machines from overseas (you know the one) ones that were SCAA certified on and on and they all had flaws that prevented the one thing I bought them for - tasty hot coffee when I want tasty hot coffee. The main thing I LOVE how easy it is to set the time and auto-on features. No navigating difficult menus only to wake up at 5:15am with no coffee made. Simple is better with coffee and this machine is as simple as it gets. Solid heavy duty construction. Great glass carafe with no dripping. No dripping coffee onto the hot-plate when the carafe is pulled. Knobs are easy to read and turn. Setting the auto-on is the easiest process on any coffee maker or even an alarm clock for that matter. PROS: -Hot coffee. -Tasty coffee. -Evenly distributed water over grounds. -No confusing messy menu or trashy LCD screen. -Easy to program. -Set it and forget it. -Durable. High quality carafe and machine. Lightweight. -Adjustable warming plate. -No useless features. -Easy to clean. CONS: -No fill window on outside (use carafe/pre-measured pitcher/fill lines inside the reservoir. If I could only give one complaint it's that the water reservoir does not have a clear panel on the side for you to see water level. There are easy to read measurements inside the reservoir though. I don't use the included carafe to fill the reservoir - I use a Brita pitcher. Buy this coffee maker! It looks retro and after the novelty of having 200+ settings and some elaborate menu system (or even in some cases none at all) wears off all you're going to want is a hot cup of coffee that tastes good.

Worked well until it didn't. Warranty service is a cruel joke.

Was happy with the unit overall. The LED is a bit hard to read but otherwise it worked fine for 11 months until it stopped brewing out of the blue. While a normal person would simply go out and buy a new unit, I decided to make a warranty claim on principles. Given this is 2023 one would imagine they have an easy online process LIKE EVERY OTHER COMPANY ON THE PLANET. But Cuisinart hates their customers and wants us all to live in 1975 so they expect us to either make a phone call during business hours or MAIL IT IN with a ten dollar check to cover their return shipping! WHAT?!?? The agent was pleasant on the phone and it looks like I will be able to get a new unit sent over, but it cost me 20+ minutes to get an effective resolution that should have taken me 30 seconds with an online form or even a chatbot. Then they required me to actually cut the cord on the machine, and email them a photo of the machine with the cut cord to verify that the machine is dead and eligible for replacement. While they have competence in making small kitchen appliances, they are inept at process efficiency and customer technology. Now I know why their machines cost $100.

Love this coffee post

This is about my third Cuisinart coffee pot in this style. I love the look and for sure it holds up to years of daily use. It brews a great cup of coffee and well worth the cost. I would highly recommend. Interesting side note I see this coffee pot in the kitchens of many over the years on TV

Full Featured and Makes Outstanding Coffee

Nothing to dislike about this. Best coffee-maker I have ever owned. Capable of brewing full-flavoured HOT coffee in small or large batches. Great extraction of flavour (I find most cone filters do this better than basket filters), and lots of customizable features. The metal "gold" permanent filter is a nice bonus - offers a slightly different flavour, but nice, especially if you forgot to buy filters. The water filter is a neat idea too, as long as it is easy to find replacements. I use Brita-filtered water anyway so don't really need it. I appreciate the strength selection option and the special 1-4 cup setting that makes nice strong and HOT coffee for 2 (4 cups really means 2 average mugs). Seems well put together and has a nice retro look. The only thing that doesn't work for me is the water level indicator inside, as I am short and the maker is tall, so I would need to stand on a chair and look down into it to see the water level, but as long as I measure it out properly in the first place (with the carafe) I don't really need to do those gymnastics. Did I say it makes HOT coffee? Most do not, and I have had many coffee makers over the years, so this must be emphasized. Auto shut off is nice too, as I have no memory, lol. No more baked-on coffee film on the bottom of the carafe. If this lasts, it might be the last coffee maker I will ever need. No regrets.
