When you first start using these you're probably going to be using too much oil
My addiction to these pans is becoming worse. I've become a big time wanna be chef. I started out using an old Martha stewart set on a gas stove. Even though it's teflon, i still somehow burned food onto them. They also seemed to loose their teflon qualities. So when I got an induction stove, i need to get induction pans. So I decided to give TECHEF a try but honestly, i wasn't expecting much. HOLY COW was i wrong! These are apparently teflon too but I guess that not all teflon pans are made equally. I don't know what kind of teflon this is but I'm sold. *** Pros: * Health - When you first start using these you're probably going to be using too much oil. I cooked a couple of meals and was really grossed out to see that i had WAY over oiled. I was using the same amount i always did. I just have to remind myself to lightly oil. I started using cooking oil in a pray can, that keeps my dishes lighter instead of gross. * Non stick - I took my time with testing these pans because in the past i've been duped. A pan will seem to be nonstick but after using it a couple of times... everything sticks. That hasn't happened with these. I've fried, seared, scrambled eggs and even made pancakes in this pan and it's absolutely nonstick. * Easy to clean- These are a breeze to clean and things really do just slide off if you tip the pan. After frying an egg... if you wanted to, you could get away with just wiping the pan with a paper towel. I have done that if I'm in a rush but don't want to leave bits of food sitting in the pan until i get home. I use vinegar in my kitchen for just about everything, from ant control, cleaning and deodorizing. So i keep spritz bottles around all the time. If I'm in a rush I'll wipe the crumbs off the pan, spritz with vinegar and dry with a paper towel. This keeps my kitchen free of ant bait. * Cooks evenly- I can trust this pan with more delicate dishes that need consistent even heat. This wok distributes the heat evenly and doesn't have any "hotspots" Some others I've bought on amazon have hot spots where my food always burns. I'll link 2 pans that i bought here that love to burn parts of my food. Induction Bottom Aluminum Nonstick Frying-Pan Grey Fry Pan - 11 inches Dishwasher Safe Cookware - By Utopia Kitchen Durable, easy clean, 8 inch non-stick frying pan sold with a flexible nylon spatula (2 Piece Set) / PFOA FREE - (BLACK) These two pans that i linked to will almost always burn a portion of what I'm cooking. For example I'll end up with half of my pancake really well done or my quesadillas will end up with a burnt corner. * Materials - You'll notice the quality of the materials as soon as you open the box. The handle is made of stainless steel that feels modern, polished and thick. The rest of the pan is just as nice. The walls of the pan are covered with a non stick coating and are thick and smooth. They don't feel flimsy or cheap * Construction - The handles are shaped in a way that makes them fit naturally and comfortably in your hand. They're riveted to the pan, i like that because i hate having to deal with loose screws and wobbly handles. They don't rattle when you handle them like other cheaper pans do. The lid is also a perfect fit, no steam escape or uneven sealing. *** Cons- * Weight- This can be a CON especially for anyone with limited strength or arthritis. I have occasional pain in both of my wrist so i'm very aware of their weight. If my joints are ok, i don't really notice the weight. On the days that they act up, i have to be really careful. The pans are hefty and when you add a large amount of food they quickly become too heavy for one hand. I can still use it, i just have to get a 2 handed grip on the pan. So i use the handle and grab the non handle side with a pot holder. *** Verdict - I Love these pans. They look and perform like more expensive pans. They're also pans that you would not be embarrassed to have company see.

Great Wok
This is a very sturdy pan that's easy to clean. We cook our cabbage or zucchini in it. Non stick works great, cleans easily. Hefty pan but not too heavy.

Best Wok EVER!!!
Absolutely love this Wok! Super easy to clean and because of bottom shape plus the lid, you can cook literally all your food in it if you wanted too. Makes cooking fun, enjoyable, cooks awesome, low oil use, low splatter, super aromatic cooking, food slides right off and so much more!!! Skip high maintenance cheap woks and buy this durable well made Wok instead. I researched many Woks for a longtime and this was the hands down winner. I absolutely love cooking all around now because of this wok. I can see using this for many years to come (which actually makes this super economical). You won't be disappointed at all choosing this one.

Great wok - lasted 20 months with 2-3x weekly usage
Purchased this in July 2020. It's now May 2022. I have no delusions when it comes to nonstick/teflon cookware. I am happy if they last a year with 2x-3x weekly usage before I see any noticeable deterioration in the coating. Usage: 2x-3x weekly. Boiling noodles/pasta, stir frying, omelets Stove type: Gas Heat level: Medium, Medium-High, High Care: hand wash only Utensils: wood, silicone, nylon Fats used: butter, ghee, bacon fat, sesame/vegetable/canola oil. (note that i didn't use any cooking sprays like Pam) Nonstick coating: Durable. no chipping or flaking. it's just wearing down after 20 months. I can tell because it's starting to look tan/brown in the area where the flat bottom meets the curve. I think if I had not been a total savage and used High heat (a lot), perhaps this would have lasted a bit longer, but at this point, i'm pretty happy with how far it's taken me during the pandemic and earned the rightful place on the stove 100% of the time.

Unmistakeable Quality and Performance
This is a really nice wok! I have never been very experimental in the kitchen, but having this, has me to try some new things with my vegetables. I received the TeChef 12 INch Wok at no cost in order to review and it has opened up new techniques and new flavors to me! Several months ago I started trying to cut sugars and starches from my diet and while I didn't really get crazy in the kitchen before that, I found my tastes further limited. Mostly because I have never experimented much. And I had never used a wok before! I am in love with this "new" way to enjoy my veggies! I was very surprised at the difference in taste offered by cooking them in the wok. I have been stepping outside my zone and buying more stri fry specific veggies and dishes and I have also been experimenting with different types of sauces for flavoring. It is very exciting to be able to get such a variety of flavors and textures . The wok is not only gorgeous in appearance, it is also very well built, incredibly solid and sturdy. It has a non-stick surface, so even though it is huge, it cleans up very quickly. I have used grapeseed oil to cook with and then as my veggies cooked I have stirred in a few different sauces and seasonings. When I am done cooking and the wok is cooled down, I wipe the inside with a paper towel, then wash it with hot water and a soapy wash cloth. Nothing has stuck to this thing and after repeated use, still looks brand new. The wok IS huge. I mean it could hold enough to feed an army! That means it does have a little weight to it, but it hasn't been a problem for me. It also means it doesn't tip easily. It is well balanced. It comes with a glass lid and it also very strong and sturdy. The only issue I have had is the metal handles getting a little warm while heating. The handle on the lid hasn't done that at all but the two side handles have so you would want to check those before just grabbing the handles and picking the wok up by them. I am very impressed by the performance of the wok. I don't have anything else to compare it to since I have never cooked like this before, but I can't imagine much better quality at an affordable price.

Excellent wok!
I waited a little while to write this review. I wanted to really try and test it before saying anything about it. I had a Jamie Oliver Tefal before this, and after using it for 5 years I needed a replacement. I figured why not try this, given Korea has a reputation for high quality products. And I was proven right! It does exactly what a wok is supposed to do. It's just how I like it, it's non stick and easy to wash, the little weight it has helps with tossing the ingredients in the wok. I will search and see if they have other products as well, they have won over themselves a fan!

Just use 2 months and start to peeling, no metal utensil or dishwasher, very bad quality and the quality worst than some other made in china Tfal or henkal, amazon should give 90 days return or at least exchange instead, this is so unfair when a product fail in such a short time but already passed the return time frame. DONT BUY THIS and if wasnt the quarantine i would never buy cookware b4 i check the quality THIS IS BAD, The worst part is now all screamble eggs cooked with BLACK DOTS WITHOUT ADDING PEPPER the so call coating is sticking to the food no matter what i cook. STAY AWAY, CANCER GOES AWAY!!!! GARBAGE!!!@@@

Gros défaut de manufacture...
La qualité du produit à l'air bonne, mais j'ai dû le retourner à cause d'un défaut dans la qualité du produit...une belle grosse bosse/déformation. Pour un wok de ce prix, je ne veux pas de défaut. Aussi, l'inspecteur de qualité qui a fermé la boîte et mis un ruban "quality tested" dormait au gaz. Je vais mettre des étoiles et commenterai le produit quand je recevrai le produit de nouveau. Encore une fois, Amazon rends les retours extrêmement simple. Excellent service.
