So Far, So Good!

* This review is based on price and value for the money. I’ve only used it four times for approximately 2 total hours, so I can’t comment on durability, longevity, or blade sharpness retention. But it seems somewhat sturdy and built fairly well. It’s fairly light, so not a total back breaker. It’s a little bit shorter than I wanted but I’m glad I traded length for a lighter trimmer. The speed is good enough for overall hedge trimming. Great for any hedge bushes and sage bushes.

They work and seem to hold up

I needed to replace my second failed Black and Decker hedge trimmers and decided I wanted to go with a different brand this time. So far I’ve yet to have an issue with these. They still work and they have the power needed for boxwood bushes and blackberry brambles. Only complaint is the finger shield is a little small. Be mindful of that and be careful when using. I’ve had them about a year. They still work. Long term durability has yet to be determined but they feel like they should hold up. No complaints.

Excellent...Make Sure You Get This Older Model

We were hesitant to believe we could buy a hedge trimmer at this price and expect it to work as well as we needed it to for our various thick landscaping needs, especially considering that it is electric. We read a couple of reviews and one in particular specified it was an excellent buy, but you needed to make sure to buy this model, the 22122, and not the newer model. This model has a 5/8 inch cut, and in other ways was lighter, more flexible, easier to use, and performed better. We utilized that review to go ahead and try this product and we are so amazed, as are our neighbors that watched us use it today. Several are going to purchase the exact same product. We couldn't be happier and are still talking about it at the table after using it all day, as we are so impressed.

Great value for the price

Good, as far as I can tell.

Only recently have I had a need for electric hedge trimmers and I liked the price on this one. Never having used electric hedge trimmers before, I'm really not sure what to expect, since I have nothing to compare it to, but i think ot works pretty well. The blade locks into three different positions, which I didn't care about when I bought it, but quickly discovered that it comes in very handy. It has a cord, so be sure not to cut through that! But since my hedges are all within a few feet of an outlet on my front porch, it's not too inconvenient. The cord can be tucked into the handle in a manner that helps it stay secure and prevent it from accidentally be unplugged during use. It's fairly light and can be used with one hand when in a pinch, and the power controlscan be locked. Relatively quiet, I guess. Depending on where and what I am cutting, I may need to make two or three passes. It will cut any branch that fits between the teeth and has actually been quite reliable for as long as I have been using it. Because it is light, I keep it hung on my pegboard. I have a review for pegboard hooks, too, if you are interested.

cumple con lo que ofrece.

Corta sin problema las ramas del diámetro indicado en las especificaciones (5/8"), no se calienta mas allá de lo básico por la operación que desarrolla (yo lo usé de forma intermitente durante 1 Hr para podar un árbol de trueno mediano con bastante follaje y me funcionó de maravilla) . Resistente, ligeramente pesado (tras varios minutos de uso). ¿Que podría mejorar?, que trajera un protector o cubierta para las cuchillas cuando el equipo esta sin uso; de ahi en fuera buen producto, estoy satisfecho con la compra.

Bueno, bonito y barato.

Peso normal, cortado rápido, varias ramas a la vez, corta ramas de buen tamaño - no muy gruesas sino del tamaño especificado. Precio bajo a otras marcas y ademas llego en tiempo y forma. Practico y para uso residencial o personal.
