Not what I was looking for

It’s light weight easy enough to use but no where near as loud as I thought it would be. In my house or even my backyard close it’ll work but in the field I know my dog wouldn’t pay attention to it! He’s young yet so maybe after he calms down a bit more he will but if you’re trying to train your pup.

This whistle is amazing

I have bought several whistles... and all of them are awful. My search is over. This little guy is mighty, it's easy and it works exactly how a whistle should. I love the color too!

Great little whistle

I was at my local hunting club and saw a similar whistle for almost 3 times the price. This was all does the trick and is a great deal. I used some extra Paracord to make a lanyard. I’ve only used it a few times out in the field so I can’t give you my experience on its durability, but so far so good.

Great whistle for gun dog training

Purchased these pealess whistles to use them in my paracord crafts to gift to fellow dog trainers. I do wish they would come in clear color but not a deal breaker. They work great and hold up to the elements.

Excellent, have about 10 of these

Works as expected. Have maybe 10 or so, in different vehicles, vest, etc. Never had one go south in many years of use, lost a few though . . .

Wasn’t sure what to expect..

Read the reviews but, like most people, didn’t really know how it would work with our dog(s). But we figured, for the price, you can not go wrong. We got this mainly for one of our two dogs (one is 2 and listens well, the other is 1 and has a typical puppy brain). The first night we used it (nighttime is the time our 1-year-old likes to take off), my wife blew the whistle with medium force so as not to startle the neighbours and the pup took notice. Our older dog came right to our side but the pup didn’t know what to do. So, my wife gave it another toot and back she came. We have had the whistle with us whenever they are off leash in the yard. If they get too far away and/or we are uncomfortable with their distance, we blow the whistle and they both come back. It is definitely worth a try if you have a dog who is ignoring you or off in their own little world. I find it snaps them out of it. Hope this review helps.

Loud and indestructible

Works super well to get my dog's attention. I've dropped and stepped on it and still works well. I've used this in the winter as well and since it doesn't have a pea it wont freeze. Great whistle for dog training!

Unsure of how to use.

I am unsure what to think. It works but either blowing lightly or a real hard blow gives a whistle. In between it just sort makes an air noise but no whistle. Is this normal???

Great dog whistle

I love this whistle! Big gang for your buck and no ‘pea’ to freeze in Canadian winters. My pup responds very well to this and it can be heard from a long ways away.
