Makes me feel like I know what I’m doing.
Got this on a whim as I almost never blow dry my hair (like 1-2 x per year). I have thick hair, loose curls that disappear when brushed. I was shocked at how nice my hair looked after using. I use it on nearly dry hair. It makes my hot look much more professional and polished. I get large very loose curls and a lot of volume. My dtr has very fine, very straight hair. It makes much less of a difference for her. But that may be that I don’t really know what I’m doing. If you have short hair get the one with a narrow barrel. And I don’t think you’re supposed to use it on soaking wet hair.

Will not replace other styling tools if you have thick coarse hair.
If you have thick, coarse hair like me and imagine that this will replace all other styling tools, think again. It took me a little trial and error to figure out the best method with this tool. I have thick graying hair that is slightly wavy underneath and straight on top, so heat styling is a must. My hair hits about mid back and takes me forever to blow dry and flat iron. So I purchased this brush dryer hoping to save my arms and shoulders and cut down on my hair grooming time. I imagined this dryer would be my single solution to that but it really was not. However, after some trial and error I am getting better results with this product than my former methods so I am pretty satisfied with it so far. Here is the method I have devised to manage my lion’s mane. After shampooing and conditioning I apply a smoothing balm on towel-dried hair and comb it out. I have found I have to rough-dry my hair with a regular dryer about two-thirds of the way before moving on to the Drybar dryer. I apply a heat protector balm at this point to partially dried ends and section my hair- a bun on top and then split the bottom layer in two sections, one on either side of my shoulders. It still takes me almost as long to dry my hair, but with this method the result is smoother, without the “lumps” I used to struggle with by blow drying and flat-ironing. The Drybar will not give me the stick-straight hair I used to have effortlessly when I was younger, but I do get a more polished, blowout look I can live with. If I want stick-straight hair I still have to make a few passes with the flat-iron but usually don’t bother. At first I tried using the Drybar start to finish but it took forever and dried my hair out too much and I was afraid with regular use my hair would be fried. Your mileage may vary, but this method described above works pretty well for me, and overall I am satisfied with the results. A star off because for the price, it wasn’t the total solution I had hoped it would be. I have had this tool for several weeks now and like it pretty well. If it starts malfunctioning or stops working altogether within the first couple of years, I will try to remember to update this review accordingly.

Works well
I can only compare this brush to the Revlon version, which I returned because it was so heavy and clunky. This brush is medium weight and easy to use. Does not get too hot, which is perfect for my straight hair.

Why didn't I buy one sooner?
I LOVE my drybar double shot blow dryer. I use it almost daily. After washing my hair it blow dries quickly, while also straightening and eliminating frizz. I have fine, but thick hair that usually takes a long time to dry, but with the double shot blow dryer, it probably takes me half the time to do in the morning. With my fine hair texture, it tangles very easily, so this was a concern for me. Not once has my hair tangled while using the dryer. I also use this to refresh my hair in between washes. This dryer is also light weight and easy to use.

Love this dryer Brush
Does a great job on my fine chin length hair. Much easier to use then a round brush and dryer. My hair comes out smooth and it doesn’t take as long as the old styling process. Well worth the money!

Bought as a replacement for a brush dryer I had for five years
Very solid and well built, but I found it difficult to maneuver with my moderate hair length.

The wand is too big for my hand. And is a little Loud

Amazing
I absolutely love this brush. I have very thick coloured treated shoulder length hair and generally use my Dyson Air Wrap to dry and style it but I still have to use my straighteners to smooth it down. With the Drybar brush I can just dry it off lightly with my hair drying tool and then finish drying and styling in one go, without the need for straighteners, which in turn has improved the texture of my hair. It smooths your hair and makes it shine but also gives it body and bounce if required. In fact, this is the best condition my hair has been in for a long time. If you have the time and the patience you should use it directly on wet hair without any pre drying as the size of the brush enables you to dry your hair very quickly. I would definitely recommend this product.

Expensive but effective
This is my first review, ever. Usually I can't be bothered because things either half-work or don't really work, or aren't really worth my hard earned money. However, I've spent the last 35 years thinking my hair was frizzy because it was unhealthy, and I've spent about a billion dollars on products to get rid of the frizz, when all I really needed to do was use this thing. I never bothered drying with a round brush because I couldn't get the coordination right. However, this thing does it all for you. Probably the best investment I've ever made in my hair, and now I can stop buying expensive useless products.

Faulty product and getting a refund takes a long time
I purchased this item and it arrived in August. When I tried to use it for the first time it started to spark so I unplugged it immediately. I returned the product. Sadly I am still waiting for a refund. To add insult to injury for an expensive product I had to pay the return postage as the seller did not provide a label. So in addition to getting a faulty product I am also out of pocket for the expense of returning it. Not happy with the supplier who has failed to reply to any comments.

Mis mañanas han cambiado!!
Lo vi con una YouTube y si es lo máximo redujo mi tiempo de peinado en 20 min. Solo seco mis raíces y todo lo demás es con el Drybar y queda como de salon.
