This is an ironing board cover only-not an ironing board!

This is my fault for not reading the full description, but I ordered on my cell phone and the description cut off after “ironing board…” and I didn’t click it to reveal the word “cover”. Also the picture shows an ironing board.

Looks elegant, works beautifully

The ironing board cover is thick and feels well-made. I always "add" covers over each other to get a soft, plump thickness, so there're about 6 covers under this one. The fit, therefore is a bit tight, which means it would fit a previously bare board perfectly. Installation was a cinch: fit the elasticized cover over the board's nose first, adjust the wrinkles out, pull it back while eyeballing centered-ness, then stretch it around the back and under the end of the board to position it. Smooth wrinkles from the middle of the cover to the outsides. When centered to taste, clip together the two elastic strips which hang from the sides to secure the cover in place. Quick, easy, and no drawstrings hanging down after installation (because they are not there to begin with!) My ironing board is stored ready-to-use in my clothes closet. I have been surprised by the calmness I feel when I open the closet door and see that cover first thing: I did not expect this perk.

Nice cover

I'm happy with this ironing board cover - it seems sturdy, has nice padding, looks very pretty in my space. My only complaint would be that even with the tightening band underneath it is still quite loose. Maybe my ironing board is more narrow than normal. Unless it melts the first time I use it - haha - I would purchase it again.

Sloppy fit

This arrived today. I love the look of it in my sewing space, and it was very easy to put on my ironing board; however, it certainly isn’t a nice snug fit like my old worn one was. There is only one strap in the middle to fasten it underneath, but it’s certainly sloppy everywhere else. Hmmm, pondering whether to return or keep.
