I've purchased and used since March of 2016 and still in excellent condition! GREAT VALUE
I recently was telling a friend about this little stool and realized that I had now been using it (consistently/at least 2-3 times a month) for 4 years - thought I'd write a review just to let anyone who was curious about longevity know. Yes, it's only $20 - and I expected a year or two use from it given how/when I use it.. I'm pretty rough on it and use it when digging in creeks and rivers for fossils to set things on, sit on or keep a floating screen full of rocks elevated so I don't have to bend over etc. - I use bunnies to attach it to my back pack and/or camel pack and it's so light and compact you don't know it's there. I'm about 190 pounds so it's been holding some weight with use as well. I've left it outside in the rain some by accident and also left it in the bed of my truck for weeks at a time on occasion and still it works like new. It looks like it's been treated as I described, a little rust stain here and there but the seat and webbing has stayed 100% intact! It's comfortable and stable, also. :) - if/when I finally wear min out, trust I will get another one just like this! Thought I’d update this - it’s March 2023 and I still use this thing on the regular and still in excellent condition ! Best $20 ever!

has made camping life easier
This chair has been with me on 5 night camping trips, and even on over-nighters and I can say without a doubt is has made my camping life a lot better. The chair doesn't weigh too much and is always in my pack. The chair comes in a sleeve that is heavy duty nylon that probably wouldn't tear under rougher than normal conditions. The chair is then held together with a Velcro strap than is undone so that the chair un folds. When unfolded the feet make a tripod. The feet of the chair are big and wide, this is important for camping because most camping takes places over dirt and these feet do not sink into the ground, even with 230 pounds on it. The actual seat is very thick and durable, I had a fear of the legs coming through the bottom and ripping through the top and after about 25 hours sitting in this chair I no longer fear that. The seat is also comfortable, my body profile is bigger than average and it was comfortable for me, though never sat in more than an hour or so at a time. The mesh sleeve that hangs off the bottom is a little hard to reach comfortably without long arms but if you don't mind bending down just a wee bit you're fine. MOST IMPORTANTLY: the chair always folds back up and goes back into the sleeve easily. PROS -very durable -comfortable -will not sink into ground -profile is small when rolled up CONS -mesh pocket could be moved an inch closer to the edge for easier access, hardly a fault I bought this chair for camping and it has exceeded my expectations greatly!

Technically a Great Stool but...
I am torn while writing this review. Remaining unbiased, I will say that it is a sturdy stool that serves its purpose. It is pretty comfortable considering its size, and I use it for drawing studies that range from 5-6 hours on and off. During long sits it does start to get slightly uncomfortable but that is solved with a nice stretch break. It has a strap to carry on the go. It would have made sense to have the bad which it comes in have a strap but it doesn't. The rating is based solely on technical function. Feel free to stop reading if your don't care for more personal opinions. I was extremely put off as soon as I looked at the tag that came attached to the bag which promoted uploading pictures of what you caught on your hunt. I am well aware that this stool is catered to individuals who will use this for hunting purposes, but it was really off putting to see that so blatantly glamorized. I personally do not promote hunting at all but unfortunately this was cheaper than another stool from the same brand which looks identical except for the seat pattern. I seriously felt like returning it, however I was in urgent need of a sturdy yet economic stool.

Had to have one
A hunting buddy lent me his son’s stool for deer hunting. It was really nice. Especially in the cold.

Good for about 30 minutes
This is the most uncomfortable chair my butt has ever covered. I'm not a small guy, but I'm not a heavy dude either. My butt of average proportions, hangs off each side by about 3". The base is small in area so naturally it is a little wobbly, but not as bad as I thought it would be. For me, the problem is that contour of the seat pushes on my tailbone which really makes my lower back sore. After 30 minutes, I had to stand and stretch a little.

Worked great
Used the chair in a ground blind for deer and turkey. Kept me off the ground, was easy to carry and sturdy enough to shoot off of.

Will be my go to for fishing trips that involve hiking!
I chose this stool over one of the ultralight backpacking chairs because it appears to be a bit lighter and this was a slightly better deal. I am pleased with how sturdy it is so far (though I have only tested it in the living room). I found it very comfortable though my wife, who has a slightly bigger backside, did not. She said it definitely beats sitting on a stump, however, so I'm sure she'll be hogging it on our next backpacking trip. The design is slick, if that sort of thing matters to you. I bought this because I fish about twice a month on average and most of my fishing spots require a 1-2 mile hike. I am no longer wanting to lug the big camping chairs that far. The trip out in the morning is usually fine, but heading back to the vehicle in the heat of the day with a 5 pound chair in tow has never been fun. The last few times I didn't bring a chair at all, and didn't plan on using one again until I saw this! This is my new day hike and backpacking stool. I have full confidence in it, but will report back if I run into any issues once it gets a real field test.

Sturdy
Slick title stool. Small and easy to carry. Didn’t have enough chairs for company that showed up for a happy hour. Broke out the stool and was surprised at how comfortable it was to sit in. Held my weight without breaking and stood up to movement and wiggles. Great little stool.

Lite, sturdy, pretty comfortable
While the chair is not a lazy boy. It’s definitely more comfortable then the ground or logs. I’m 6’ and 250lbs and sit in a decent position. I generally make my own ground blinds so I’ll have to practise with my bow from this seated position. I recommend the stool for sure.
