Supporta fino a 350 libbre (159 kg). Kit ferramenta incluso. Maddak è specializzata in prodotti per l'assistenza domiciliare e la riabilitazione per i mercati degli anziani, della disabilità e della riabilitazione. OF ALL RISERS, THIS IS THE ONE TO PURCHASE
I say that due to the joy of Steel Steel Steel! I'm so sick and tired of toilet seats and accessories arriving with PLASTIC fittings. Ableware doesn't show or mention the high quality hardware that makes this item outstanding but I've added pics to show the nut and bolts this comes with. The substantial bolts are metal, the wing nut is beefy and metal too. What a difference that makes in installation. Threaded plastic doesn't give way to smooth fast nut twirling and ease. Plastic bolts bend and snap. Bolts like these not hardly. The Wing Nut is purely divine. I didn't think I could be so happy to see a metal item. The WING gives you something to grip where these plastic nuts don't. Many toilets are in tight spaces and they are not up on some easy access chest high work bench where you can get at their underside easily. I don't know what toilet accessory manufacturers are thinking. My toilet even has a lip on its exterior rear side rim so reaching in directly with a crescent wrench isn't even possible. My fingers just give way trying to grip the tiny little flanges on plastic nuts [some so flimsy you can break them by squeezing], especially when my hand is in that palm up contorted under something position. Ableware conversely gives you a giant leather like washer (something I've just never seen before) that fits against the bottom of the exterior bowl. Sorta looks like a mini plate. The wing nut goes over this leathery thing. I then did something weird. I installed the wing upside down. The wing nut is stopped by the roundness of the bowl and this big washer protects the china and holds the nut so snugly that you can with ONE HAND tighten from the top with a screwdriver. .....let me say that again ONE HAND! Well I Never! I'm in LOVE with these people (Ableware). I tightened the big bolts like mad with my giant Wera driverWera - Kraftform 932 Slotted Tip Chisel Driver 10X175 Mm and she's rock steady on the bowl. Now the hellish part was finding a seat in this world with a dog gone BOLT HOLE to bolt through. As with most things when one does it the rest follow. So is the case with these sickening new seat types where a bolt attaches underneath a solid decorative cap. Yes that's pretty but they're a nightmare of inconvenience and none I've purchased would even get tight let alone stay tight. Anywho I found three seats which have old fashioned Bolt Holes for Top Down Seat installation. **The Toto SS113Toto SS113#51 Ebony SoftClose Soft Close Round Polypropylene Toilet Seat **Comfort Seat EZ Close **And the crazily priced LonghornLonghorn & Tooled Leather Toilet Seat - Round The two cheaper seats are nothing to write home about but they have the HOLEs you need for this riser. What Ableware needs to do is MAKE decent quality SEATs to accomodate this riser because this configuration of seat is rapidly rapidly becoming extinct. All in all I can't give this product enough kudos. Easy to install Easy to uninstall Easy to took at Easy to clean Stable The Hinge is Smart! I just wished I hadn't lost hundreds buying other types of seat elevation apparatuses first. ALTERNATIVES I have learned that Carex makes one that's virtually the same. Theirs has a cut out on the sides for grabbing and the washers that come with it don't include the big disc washer. Otherwise it seems exactly the same for about half the price of this one. _________________ On the other end of the cost spectrum is the ultra costly Solution ComfortSeat® 3" Hinged Toilet Seat Riser (SCS-53) Specially designed larger seat for larger users - Supports up to 500 lbs. NOW THIS PUPPY ALLOWS YOU TO USE ANY KIND OF SEAT. I almost wish I had found it before the Ableware but for more than thrice the price maybe not. Your seat attaches to the device THEN this device attaches to the bowl so these new types of seats, snap off, bolt from under all work with the ComfortSeat. _________________ Third something entirely different. If your washroom is a spacious one the Big John toilet seats might be just for you especially if you are heavier in size and don't want this much extra elevation [this hinged one just under 3.5" despite specs showing a higher number]. The new Standard Big John lifts a person 1.5" and the really heavy duty Original one lifts a booty 2". Keep in mind though that a seat that's 19" front to back will stick out very far from the bowl. If your toilet is right at a doorway you can't get into the bathroom with a seat that protrudes this far. This is why I said if you have a spacious lavatory!

A bit more pricey, but well worth it!
I have three American Standard builder-grade toilets in the home, all with builder-grade seats and lids, nothing fancy. For the two upstairs (more private) toilets, I purchased two ofInvacare Raised Toilet Seat . For the downstairs, more public toilet, the Hinged Elevating Toilet Seat fit the bill perfectly. Installation instructions are exceedingly sketchy (picture on the side of the box without explanation, and some assembly required), so here are my tips/tricks: 1) Clean and remove completely the existing toilet seat and lid, setting aside ONLY the bolts holding them to the toilet. You won't need these again unless you uninstall the product. 2) Identify the tops/bottoms of the hinged raised seat and bracket holder (my names for them). The top of the raised seat is absolutely smooth, with a small rim on the bottom side (installed towards the toilet bowl rim). The top of the bracket holder is completely smooth and the bottom of the bracket holder has a plastic recycle code on it. 2) On a secure surface, such as padded carpet, place the bracket holder flat side down (curved side up). Align the raised seat with the "slide into place" slots on the sides of the bracket, making sure both sides match as to "up" and "down" in the final installation (completely smooth side of seat aligned with the completely smooth side of the bracket). Here's the tricky part: line up the seat hinge "buttons" into the bracket "slide slots", push gently and firmly, and eventually the seat will slide down the slots on both sides and snap into the holder. Don't try to start with one side already socked into one side of the holder or you'll be frustrated. Method described above took 30 seconds max. 3) Put raised seat and bracket directly on the toilet bowl (right side up, no duh) and then position your original seat and lid and side holders at the back, over the bolt holes. You may need a third hand to help with this. 4) Insert the long metal bolts provided in this order: a) bolt goes directly into the original side holder for the toilet seat/cover, then into the raised seat holder, then down through the toilet itself b) next, put the rubber ring provided on the bolt under the toilet, next to the porcelain c) finally, put the metal washer provided on the bolt, followed by the wing nut provided. This ensures the porcelain isn't scratched/damaged (rubber ring next to porcelain) and the wing nut tightens securely (last on, next to the metal washer). 5) repeat for the other side, adjust and tighten gently but firmly When all is said and done, you lower the original toilet set down onto the raised seat, and voilà! You are sitting on your own original seat, but now you are higher by both the width of the elevated seat and the width of your original seat. The toilet lid closes effortlessly, completing a very aesthetic look. When male guests arrive, or when you're cleaning the toilet, all parts raise for direct access to the toilet bowl, or for cleaning each component of the assembled parts. The only drawbacks to this product are: (a) price, (b) potentially tricky installation, and (c) relative permanence of this product vs. theInvacare Raised Toilet Seat product mentioned above. Both have their place, and I am EXTREMELY pleased with both.

Does not change the look of your toilet relatively easy to assemble
I love the fact you can use your own toilet seat with this riser, it is easy to install if you can kneel on the floor to reach the nuts. It also doesn't loosen from sitting down on it , there is a lip which fits inside the rim of the bowl to keep it in place. I have purchased many other risers over the years and not been happy with them but this is the one I now buy

Very sturdy & does not take away from Bathroom Decor
This is So much nicer to use when you have hip and/or knee problems than the metal tube extenders with arms & only a normal toilet seat that sits way….above the toilet bowl. With this unit not only is it pleasing to look at, it is very sturdy & easy to clean. Plus if any guest are over & we need to use our second Bathroom we can without them feeling awkward & like they are using medical equipment. All necessary parts to install were included. I am sure this would suffice for most toilet seats but we had a designer toilet seat in a bisque color that we could not replace so we had to go to HomeDepot and get a different size set of long screws to accommodate our existing toilet seat & lid. Otherwise I would have given top rating in installation as well. I have already recommended this to a friend who is putting in her order.

It Fit the Bill
Very easy to install and is sturdy. Helpful to my husband post bypass surgery. I am benefiting from the extra height as well.

great! but not if you're under 5' 4"/short legs
never mind about buying a new toilet or commode. this seat is perfect! easy install, easily clean, can be easily removed for further deep clean, great price. but your legs will dangle if your less than about 5'4". (although getting a foot stool helped)---for when your grandson comes for a visit.
