Easy install and smooth lift.
I put this on my boat trailer to replace a binding 5000 pound jack from a different manufacturer. The total weight of my boat is around 5000 pounds with the trailer but this 2500 pound jack handles the load with ease. I bought the boat and trailer with the old jack on the trailer, and I guess the previous owner was into overkill. Remember, you’re only lifting the tongue weight, but you need a little more lifting capacity in order to securely support your trailer (and boat) when parked or stored. Installation took less than ten minutes. It took me longer to round up the tools than it did to put it on the trailer.

Buy better brand jack
So I got my jack in November to replace the cheap flemsy folding wheel jack my 21ft aluminum enclosed trailer had on it. I am limited to how I can attach a jack so I got this one and I was happy it was alot easier to lower with the drop pin for the jack foot also it felt better unloading my mowers without the truck hooked to the trailer hardly any wobble. So summer hits the truck stays under the trailer I may have to use the jack 1x a week 2 at best but I went to get it off my truck this morning and the gears slipped I had to drag a floor jack out to the yard to unhook my trailer. I eventually without weight got the jack to raise back up so I could hook to it again and go but now it's goin to have to stay on my work truck till I find a fix for it. Also my tongue weight has never exceeded the limits of the jack most I've seen on my hitch guage was 1200 so not like I had it in too big of a bind

Replaced jack that comes with sun tracker trailer. That jack turned to junk in 2 months. I like the drop down pin leg. Keeps the screw out of the salt water. I painted all hardware after install. Will update if it turns to junk.

Broken Box Missing safety nut , bolts not proper strength,broke like Buttah
Broken Box Missing safety nut for the handle, bolts not the proper strength for application ;broke like Buttah when Hit ground just a little. Thankfully I saved the old ones . SEE PICTURE , old ones on the LEFT bent before but never broke.

Sturdy but check all parts
The jack is great overall however it was missing the bolt to hold on the handle which is a special bolt. I decided to modify a bolt to work since a replacement was going to take 3 weeks.

Only 1 thing would make it perfect
Very sturdy. Very easy to install. The only improvement I could see is having the option to use a drill on the opposite side from the hand crank. But this runs circles around the jack that came with my trailer. And I have a tank at the front of my trailer that holds 1,500 pounds of water. Still little effort to crank and also raises fairly quick.

Missing parts
The trailer hitch jack had no bolts . No screws or brackets to mount to the trailer ????‍♂️.. definitely not happy

Package came retaped without instructions missing bolt for handle managed to adapt another bolt to fix problem overall very nice piece of equipment must have been returned product and not checked

installed on a trailer with 350 pound tongue weight. works well. good and solid. i replaced the nuts with nylock nuts.

False advertising
These jacks are advertised 28 inches of lift and only have 15 1/2 inches of lift. Just because it has a drop leg doesn’t mean it has more lift!
