Fails to charge

Purchased in 2020 a last used in 2021. It will no longer take a charge.

Easier than using a string trimmer around the house and yard after mowing.

My wife and I both like this trimmer. I used both blades at times. The longer blade won't cut heavy stems on plants. I have a 20V cordless trimmer to do that. But for small bushes and such it works well. I attach it to the long handle attachment and push it along the lawn by edging to cut what is missed by my rider mower. My wife will also use it and likes it. The only disadvantage is the battery is not removable.

Nice tool

Overall, really happy with the tool. Needed it bc My grass meets the mulch for my bushes in my yard and when I mowed, grass blew on the mulch. This way, I walk along the border for two passes and then the mower doesn’t get close enough to blow the clippings. Loved the little hedge trimmer. Won’t go through thick branches but works nicely for a really good trim. Battery life is decent, no real issues. Gave it a low review for one reason. Safety. I have to be on my game when holding it bc the button is just too easy to push without realizing it. It does have a safety where you have to push the button in with the start BUT the button can be pushed from either side. When grabbing the tool, its just too easy to push both buttons at the same time. It should have a lock. Otherwise, LOVE the stick on wheels to roll the grass trimmer along the ground.

Product is nice and works well

My wife does the trimming while I mow the lawn. Line trimmers are a little to heavy and awkward for her to handle and it wasn't good to use line trimmers on the side of the house. After finding this unit she can trim around the house quickly and do a good job. The only minor problem she has had were the wheels have fallen off a couple of times, but she puts them back on and away she goes again. It really is a good product for areas where you don't want to use a line trimmer. We don't have any shrubs so we haven't used that blade.

Use as hand tool or on rolling pole - sharp

You can use the shear as a hand tool or attach it to the long handle with rollers. It is versatile and easier to turn on when it is attached to the pole. It is more awkward as a hand tool in that You have to hold down 2 buttons with one hand to make it work. It is an effective and very sharp tool. You must be cautious and pay attention when using it in this mode. I wasn't paying attention when I grabbed a tuff of tall grass with my left and the shear cut one of my fingers. I should have held the tall grass higher and paid closer attention to the position of the blades I had to drive myself to the emergency room with one hand. Another word of caution: if a small pebble gets caught between the blades, it can ricochet. I almost think that you need to wear gloves, safety glasses, and long pants when using this tool. But it is an effective tool and I am glad that I bought it. I also bought the rotating Fiskar shears which round out my tool kit for trimming grass.

Holds charge for a long time

I purchased these to trim around hard-to-get places with a mower. I used the grass trimming attachment, and it worked perfectly. By that I mean that it cut through grass and didn't clog. Since that is why I purchased this I am 100% satisfied, especially the relatively low price (and the Prime overnight shipping when I purchased it.) If you are looking for a tool to trim bushes, this is probably not your best option, I tested it on some bushes and the pruning attachment was not nearly as efficient as the grass clipping one. Even smaller branches about the size of a ballpoint pen refill were a chore. Bottom line - if you want this as an inexpensive way to trim grass and the inevitable weeds in hard to get places it's easily up to the task. Add in the price (it was a third less than other models that I looked at), and the long battery life and it is a good value. As for the battery life, I was about to get a good two hours out of a single charge.

Buena compra. Exactamente lo que necesitaba

En primer lugar yo compré esta podadora para votar el pasto, la zona que corto es pequeña, por lo que se adapta precisamente a lo que requiero, una máquina más grande es inmanejable (3x7m). Carga suficiente para cortar el pasto que estaba bastante crecido, sin problemas para cortar raíces gruesas y algunos tallos de plantas jóvenes. Estuvo encendida al menos una hora seguida, esto es todo el tiempo, sin calentarse significativamente. La carga fue semejante a otras que he tenido en el pasado (Black and Decker). No es muy pesada y tal vez el problema es que hay que mantener todo el tiempo apretado el seguro.

Very Dangerous as it turns on without anyone touching it.

This review is for 2 of these trimmers. The first trimmer arrived and it wouldn't charge. This was replaced, the second trimmer worked well for approximately 5 uses, then the trimmer would turn on without anyone or anything pressing the trigger. This could be very dangerous if someone wasn't paying attention or a child got a hold of it, the unit would not turn off and run until the battery died.

Excelente artículo, muy práctico

Excelente podadora, es pequeño pero muy fácil de usar, el mango facilita todo el trabajo, yo hago arreglo ahora el jardín de mi casa sin necesidad de jardinero y no es ningún esfuerzo, funciona muy bien, la carga dura bastante, corta muy bien y lo mejor no lanza lejos el césped que corta, por lo que facilita la limpieza del área cercana al jardin

Excelente producto, corta muy bien y es segura. La durabilidad de la pila excelente. El tema es que no he podido encontrar el accesorio de extensión por separado ya que cuando la compré no lo ví, espero que lo haya, si compran mejor compren con extensión incluida.

works great BUT SLOW so do not get in a hurry. as far as battery life goes it seems to go on forever and i finished my trimming before the battery ran out so don't know just how long the battery will last
