Definitely cleans.....Has Pros and Cons

I researched several steam mops in my search. I decided on this Hoover because 1) trusted brand; 2) it was an all-in-one machine that cleans floors and also turns into a detachable handheld to clean ovens, stoves, counters, bathrooms, just about anything. I wanted a handheld also, so this Hoover having both seemed perfect. It DOES do a great job deep cleaning. It even got old rust off my marble bathroom vanity. Some reviews say it doesn't clean tile grout. Well....it does actually, but only when using the hard brush attachment with the handheld unit. My floors looked beautiful after I used the steam mop feature, and it was so much easier than having to use an actual mop and bucket. Pros: - Deep cleans great - Makes tile and wood floors gleam - Very convenient 10 in 1 cleaning machine - Price is very reasonable for all it does - Good assortment of attachments - As a steam mop, very lightweight to push Cons: - As a handheld, heavy to hold for long periods - Must use caution to avoid scalding yourself with the handheld unit as the steam doesn't just cut off immediately - Placement of cord is rather strange... it comes up the front from the bottom of the detachable handheld piece and you have to grab and hold it when steam mopping - steam pressure on mop function is good but not as great using the handheld unit; I wish it put out more steam power to allow quicker cleaning All in all, it accomplishes what I got it for and I feel it was money well spent. I am definitely keeping it and will use the heck out of it. I gave 4 ???? instead of 5, only due the above listed cons. I do like it, especially as a steam mop!

BACK BREAKER!

The media could not be loaded. My mom swore by this steamer “it’s the best! It cleans great and it’s so fast” wellllll… fortunately I just moved in to a new house and I was like well let me get it, since she says it’s really good and easy to clean. I purchased and today I decided to try it! LET ME TELL YOU! #1 it’s a back breaker! (I am 5’11) and this steamer is too short for me. #2 I constantly have to press the steam button on the inside of the handle & now as I type this, my carpal tunnel is hurting really bad. My whole right wrist and arm are hurting from having to press it all the time… #3 not sure, but the water wasn’t spraying correctly, from bottom of the steamer, where the spray shoots down (that might of been the cause of #2) which made me work twice as hard because I tried to get the area as wet/damp as possible so the machine could glide. Over all it works but it’s not as easy as it seems. I am returning cause I’m sure there are better ones out there with less work. I guess it’s good for a small area, but not a large home.

Easy peasy

Handheld part is very light and the full thing isn’t unwieldy. Super easy to figure out and comes with lots of attachments. If you’re steaming any fabric or carpet it’s best to have something to suck up all the water, which this does not. I have a BISSELL little green and use the vacuum function to pick up everything the steam loosened up

Effective cleaner

Over this is a super effective steam cleaner and gets up dirt you never even imagined was there. It's cleaning power gets 5 stars. But it drops a star for 2 reasons. #1 you have to hold the button down for the steam the entire time, which doesn't sound like a big deal, but if you have even minor wrist issues this starts to hurt quickly. And #2 the water tank is small and needs filled a lot which is really just an inconvenience. Overall this is a powerful little thing and the fact I got it for $64 I cannot complain. It does its job well.

I use the Accessories more than the floor steamer

I use the accessory nozzles and scrubbers more than the floor steamer. Directing the steam does well on the soot on a fireplace door, baked on oven grease, and even some odd resin that leaked down from the attic of a summer cabin. (It might have been solidified pack rat pee.) There was a big string of it stuck to the wall and this steam dissolved it without damaging the wall surface.

Great for leaving no residue or marks

Recently I moved to a new home with LOTS of tile… without this I’d go crazyyy! It’s a little small but it works great on both tile and carpet. My home still feels new 2 months later and I know it’s partly because of this machine! Highly recommend

Best heavy duty cleaner you can get

I was skeptical at first but this is the best investment I’ve made for my home cleaning so far. It is so easy to use and absolutely powerful! Cleaned by filthy oven and my fridge in no time! Use it on my cupboards and floors daily!

It's convenient and does the job.

This steam mopdies the job for light duty. It's a bit heavy but because of that it can rub the dirt.

Works as a pull apart higher quality steam shot and does the fridge and windows great. Floors are good too would like to see more steam but then I am not sure that's possible. Recommended and believe me I have had my share of steam mops

Defective item

I never got to use this product so I can’t comment on how good it works. We received a defective item that wouldn’t heat up. The worst part was dealing with the company. They tried to bribe me into giving them a five star review if they paid the return shipping cost for their broken item. 100% wouldn’t recommend dealing with this seller.
