Tool is good
The tool works as expected, it's able to take the old finish and grime off my antique maple floor.. I only gave it 4 stars because the blade that came with it was not sturdy. After scraping only two boards (about 10' x 4") I had to change the blade as it was too knocked up to properly work. On top of that when I flipped it around (the blade is two sided) the "new" side had a dent in the middle where the screw held it into the tool.... bottom line, buy replacement blades when buying this tool

Great Scraper
I wasn't sure I would like this scraper when I ordered it but it has become one of my favorite woodworking tools. This is not your normal paint scraper. It's more like a short card scraper; the blade is very sharp. Scraping (one could even say carving) down high spots on glued panels; getting into tight spots where a card scraper can't fit; getting at those bits of glue between board panels that a "normal" scraper can't get to. The small handle above the blade gives you great control as you work. Haven't had to changes blades yet but I did order the pack of extra blades at the same time. Glad I did because I know they will eventually get used. I recommend this scraper.

Does a good job, not a GREAT job
*while writing this review, I came up with the idea of simply making a carbon steel non-disposable blade for this scraper, because it does have nice ergonomics - a little sheet of 51mm wide (2 inch) by 1.5mm thick (1/16th) flat ground O1 or A2 bar is cheap and will give you enough to have a good two dozen double sided blades for this scraper - that can all be re-sharpened!* I like having this scraper in my kit for removing glue squeezeout on large projects, but for paint and finish removal (particularly on wood that I don't want to re-paint and instead want to stain and finish) it just doesn't really do a super consistent job and loses its "bite" far too quickly compared to a simpler scraper that has a carbon-steel edge. Honestly, though it does the job, I wouldn't buy it again. I'd stick with scrapers that don't have disposable blades, since if you're after that really crisp or aggressive bite, a file (which is even inside the handle on many of the steel blade scrapers) will quickly put a mean burr on the edge that rips finish off aggressively, or you can then stone the edge a bit to make a smaller "smoothing" burr that comes close to a card-scraped finish So while there's no inherent quality failing with this tool (it is nice, ergonomically) I just don't love the design of disposable-blade scrapers. I'm going to convert this one to use a carbon steel blade.

A solid tool at a very good price
I started out using this as a glue scraper for woodworking projects and for that purpose it is absolutely ideal. I have had no gouges or surface marring using it (which is a lot better than what I got with the previous high-speed steel scraper I had been using) and I suspect that the blade will last a long time before it needs resharpening - or if something happens to it, the blade is neither difficult to replace nor overly expensive. I like the soft grip which feels very good in my hand, but I especially like the knob on the front which lets me control the pressure I'm using when I am scraping glue. (And if you think that such scraping is a trivial task, build your own workbench with 1"x3"x8' purpleheart and rock maple laminated together for a 32"x8' top and then do the scraping some other way. You'll change your mind.) There may be better carbide scrapers out there at this price, but if I had found one I would have bought it. I'm very happy with this scraper and would recommend it to friends (well to those who need scrapers anyway :-) )

Well made, used it to scrape my wood ramp.
Attaches to a screw on extension so no work on knees. Needed a second 2 in blade to finish work. Would be better if it had a 3in blade for more coverage.

Received with a broken blade.
arrived with a broken blade. would like a blade sent to me so I can get the full experience of this tool. Otherwise, I have to return it.

Great Tool!
Great grip! Though the molding is kind of shotty (didn't come out of the press properly or leaked during pouring). Feels good in your hand. Great control. Overall look is fantastic. Tool works great. Gave it four stars because I have to order additional scrapper blades directly from them as I can't get them in any of the stores around here (custom design not standard blade mount).

Good Stair Refinishing Scraper
The main tool is very good but the handle leaves a bit to be desired. Handle came off frequently when using and then broke the handle plastic core. Had to fabricate a metal handle to finish the job. Hope Red Devil reads this for a little product improvement Quick shipping

Excellent scraper but care is needed not to exert too ...
Excellent scraper but care is needed not to exert too much pressure and cut away too much wood. For a beginner this can be tricky. Start out with a light touch and this works well and keeps its sharp edge for a long time.

Good tool. Works. The replacement blade is too expensive.
