This work well - great value for the price.
This works as intended - the cutter leaves the cut and makes the glass easy to “break” after the cut is made in the glass surface. Because this is “free hand” you have to be very careful if you want an exact or straight cut (must use a straight edge and take into account the small distance from the blade to the metal edge of the cutter). So if you are looking to do many straight and exact-sized cuts, you may want to look for another tool. But for small projects that you do not need a precisely sized cut or perfectly straight cut, this works great.

Cut glass just fine.
It took a few tries to get the hang of it. But I ended up being able to cut the right size glass for a few smaller frames from one large piece of glass that the corner had broken off. Saved me money by recycling the glass.

It worked
Needed to cut up a couple of big bathroom vanity mirrors to get rid of them. This worked well. Initially I was pushing harder than I needed to due to inexperience. This resulted in the tool bending a bit. So, it is not super sturdy. Bent it back and it still works perfectly fine, especially after figuring out that it does not take much of a scribe in the mirror glass for it to break along the scribe.

Works great
I used this to cut a rectangle out of an old storm window to replace a broken lite in my garage door. Worked great. I also used it to make windows for my chicken house out of old storm windows as well. It cut well, I had no issues, just remember to support your work piece and use the tapper on the other end too, this helps create micro fractures in the glass after scoring.

It broke two weeks later
Don’t buy this product, after two weeks of use it broke, the little wheel that cuts the glass came off, it was also difficult to use If I was to buy it again I would not buy this one.

I didn't measure twice and order once...
I bought a glass aquarium lid online and was sure I knew the dimensions I needed. I was off ¼"(insert face palm here). Since returning it wasn't an option, I knew I needed a glass cutter. This was the same brand that I remembered using decades ago on a construction project I worked on so I ordered it. I received it very quickly. I knew that taking just a ¼" off the edge of the two piece lid would be tricky, especially with the hinge not allowing me to lay the glass flat on the work table. I watched a few YouTube vids on the subject and found two that addressed the subject of trimming a small piece off the glass with out it running into the big piece. It's not just a simple score and snap like on bigger pieces. With the instructions from YouTube I learned to make the score and then use the little ball on the end to tap the bottom of the score line, while giving gentle pressure to the top side and carefully turn the score line into a running crack that can be snapped off with some pliers. It was a fairly clean edge but did need some smoothing with a piece of coarse emery cloth and a little help with the Dremel sanding drum.

Defective cutter?
The pin holding the wheel was not seated properly and stuck out one side, which caused it to ride the top of the ruler and not cut the glass. since it would not tap into place, we had to file it down. It still did not cut well, even tho the glass was cleaned and the cutter moistened with mineral oil . Ruined 2 pieces of glass. My previous Red Devil worked like a charm, til it broke.

Excellent tool!
This cutter is small and convenient, and is really easy to use. Makes great cuts, and I'm very happy that I can re-use broken glass to make smaller pieces instead of disgarding the whole piece.

easy to use and life saver for creating circular patterns
i only wish I had discovered this sooner! it is a game changer for creating ciruclar patterns in stained glass, well worth the money ! not sure I will use it as a cutter, but the ball on the end will be used for tapping those hard scores!

Broke first time using
Not worth your time or money. The cutting wheel broke the first time using, which ended up breaking the glass I was working on.

Cuts pretty well
I used this to cut 10 mirrors down to the same size. It does take a little bit of a learning curve and recommend watching a couple of glass cutting you tube videos prior to your attempt. I had a couple of initial oh ohs on my test piece and soon got the hang of it. My remaining cuts all turned out perfect. Larger cuts seemed to work better for me then trimming smaller sections. The tool worked as advertised.
