Excellent Thread Sealant
This is some of the best thread sealant I've ever used. It's a quick dry formula and it's fairly easy to clean up. I've never had any issues using this product.

Stay two threads away from the end.
I used it for water heater pipe threads

Amazing product
This is not easy to clean, which is exactly what you want - it forms a very tough to remove film, which is perfect at filling the gaps/valleys in threaded fittings. It's less pasty/chunky than other pipe sealants, more smooth and creamy. Wear gloves, or you'll be coated in it for days. When used with blue-monster PTFE tape, I've had 0 leaks (tested @30PSI). Just be sure to clean your threads (wire brush), and remove (cutting) lubricants before making up the joint.

Good pipe dope
What is there to say really. Great product, good consistency. Makes pipes happy. I found it easy to use and clean up. I always wrap thread tape around after I apply the pipe dope. No leaks on anything I have used it on.

This stuff is magic.
This stuff is magic. I have done homeowner plumbing repairs for over 50 years, sweating copper, gluing PVC, etc. I have avoided threaded PVC joints like the plague because they are difficult to seal properly. I recently installed an irrigation vacuum breaker and could not avoid 2 threaded PVC fittings going to female copper threads on the breaker. I watched about every YouTube video available on how to handle threaded PVC fittings. There were all kinds of approaches. I painstakingly followed the directions for using teflon tape. What a fiasco. I ended up with 2 leaky joints. I tried this True Blue product and the joints now are absolutely watertight and perfect. I never will use any other type of sealant for any of my threaded joints whether PVC, or solid pipe other than True Blue. Rectorseal makes several variations of thread sealant. The True Blue is described as good for vibrations which occur with a vacuum breaker. I'm guessing all of their sealants provide superior thread sealing based on my experience with True Blue.

For once, something just works.
I built a whole-house filtration system with brass NPT (tapered threads) and teflon tape, and all but about two of my joints dripped. After taking the whole thing apart, re-taping and re-seating everything, it still dripped, even when I varied the amount of tape I used and how much force I used to join them. Honestly it's probably just the cheap (yet, somehow, expensive) Home Depot fittings. Per some online recommendations and these reviews, I ordered this stuff at $6, and for less than the cost of a single fitting, I'm down to one drip. That drip is slower than all my previous ones, so I have some hope that it will work itself out in the coming days. [Edit: The drip went away faster than my review got approved XD] I will probably be ordering a new jar every time I need to thread pipe, because it's so cheap it would be stupid not to. It is a bit messy, and my hands are a bit blue; but my job is done, my water is clean, and my heart is happy.
