Did What My 6HP Wet Vac Could Not
1. I cannot speak to the long-term durability of the product but it cost less than a single visit from an AC person. 2. Based on past negative reviews, I purchased silicone lube for the inner pair of seals. When I opened the pump before use. The seals were already liberally greased from the factory. I would suggest everyone confirm this before use. You need to generate a lot of force to pull up the handle to suck out a clog and dry rings would be a nightmare. 3. Happy surprise. When I opened the hand pump before use to check the seals, I found a spare pair of seals around the shaft inside the pump. They can stay there until needed. 4. I had a nasty clog that my 6hp shop vac could not suction out from the outside condensate line. It took about four strokes with this pump. 5. Once done sucking out the clog, I poured about two quarts of white vinegar through the condensate line from inside the house/garage and confirmed I had vinegar dripping outside at the condensate line outlet. 5. After confirming I was done with the condensate line, I placed the hand pump intake in a clean bucket of water and flushed the pump and lines until the water coming out was nice and clean. I opened the pump afterward and emptied any remaining water in the pump and lines, allowing them to air dry prior to reassembly and storage.

No more calling A/C company to clear drain line
I'm so glad I made this purchase. No more spending over $125 for an A/C company to come out and drain the A/C condensate line. The only downside for me would be the diameter of the line that vacuums (sections out) the line. It is slightly smaller than my drain line. Tried to stretch it over the line because the end of it is silicone type material, but couldn't. My father just held pump line flush to the drain line with his hands wrapped around it to make a seal. It worked for us, the pump suctioned everything out of the line (some debris, but a lot of brownish clear slime/sludge). No more water leaking from my A/C unit into my house, destroying drywall and wood, with the condensate line clear. I definitely recommend this product.

Start Here For Clearing Your Condensate Line!
I live in central Texas, where the weather is hot and the dew point and relatively humidity high. Since last summer, have had my Trane system condensate lines blown out, used a high powered shop vac and custom condensate line fitting, and purchased two different brands of cartridge based condensate line cleaner. Nothing worked. The water soaked my exercise room rug, ran through the wall and through my garage. On my master AC, water seeped into my master bath. I had a repairman tell me recently that I needed a new system. That just seemed insane without seeing if we could clear the lines. By a fluke, I found this product and wish I’d started here. Right out of the box, from inside my home. I pulled a bunch of gunk out. Then, I went outside and changed the fitting to pull sludge and gunk through that way, and could not believe what came out. There was some initial resistance, but then it just burst out. A pile of sludge and debris. Dyed warm water pink and slowly poured then pulled that through - came through easily, washing more debris and the condensate cleaners is been putting in my line regularly. YAY! Did the same thing on my master AC, et voila! That was cleared as well. THIS IS IT. I love this product. Am gonna tell everyone at work about it, since I’ve been asking people about clearing my condensate line. It’s heavy duty,, easy to clean, and worth every Penny. I do need to purchase silicon lubricant to keep it ready to go. Oh also - it was supposed to take 4 days to ship. Was delivered in 2 days. I am so thrilled I can hardly stand it, and my large, fluffy, double coated dogs are grateful for a cooler house.

AVOID! Hose cracked and leaks badly, damaged product box sent.
UNRETURNABLE PRODUCT, AVOID! Hose cracked and leaks badly. I tried to tape the hose but the crack is right at the end so was ineffective. Suction is very low (perhaps due to cracked hose) and product was completely useless. The product box had multiple puncture holes in it, even though the Amazon shipping box was perfectly fine. This product is NOT returnable so keep that in mind when taking your chances ordering from a company with such poor quality controls.

Very powerful pump for clearing aircon condensate drain pipe
This pump definitely works as designed. It generates strong pressure spikes to dislodge clogs and stagnent water in your drain pipe. It moves a LARGE VOLUME of water, and can work in both directions (ie you can pump air into the drain, helpful to further dislodge clogs). Compared against a wetvac, it requires more manual work, is not that much cheaper, it probably just as effective. Get a wetvac if you have space at home, get this if you're short on storage. Would have given it a 5-stars, but it came with a small crack on one of the hoses so -1 star.
