Inconsistent items

Have bought this item a few times. Sometimes you get the 6 pouches and sometimes the 4 "juice boxes". The water tastes fine. If you don't mind the discrepancy then it's fine. Didn't try the bar yet.

Kinda-somewhat a three day survival basics box?

This box is a good start to a 3-day preparedness bag but sadly there's one big problem. One box does not contain enough packs of water for 3 days. This box has one survival blanket, one 2400 calorie food ration, and six water packs of 4.225 fluid oz./125ml. Since you get six packs, you would assume you'd use two packs a day BUT THAT"S NOT THE CASE. The water clearly states a person should use 4 packs per day. So one box would only give you enough water for ONE DAY. If you buy two boxes you'll have enough water for 3 days but that's not really the point. This is an important thing to keep in mind if you are going to buy this box. The price is great at under $15 but in the end, you'll have to spend almost $30 to get enough water for three days. Other than this, I found this box to be a good deal for my purposes (making preparedness bags as gifts) 6 for under $90. I found this to be the better deal, for me, compared to buying the food rations separately since I had previously bought a box of emergency drinking water pouches from mayday (100 pouches for around $32). This way, I could add the recommended amount of water packs for 3 days per person plus extra. The boxes all arrived in a large box with no damages. Out of the six, only one was missing a blanket and the rest of the supplies were in great condition. The process to exchange the one was simple and the replacement arrived the next day. I will note that the replacement box shipped in a thin plastic bag so no real protection, luckily it wasn't damaged. The expiration dates on the boxes and packages varied only in months. I added photos of some of the varying dates as well as circled the part that says 4 pouches per person per day.

OK, I guess

No, they don’t taste nice. However, if you were in a emergency and had nothing else, these would keep you alive. And that, is the point. They are edible, decently priced, and they do the job.

It comes boxed, very small and compact. Just water and those MEH survival food cubes. Perfect for stashing in the car. Keep one in summer and winter car kit. Never opened or tasted, but have tried these components before. Better than bugs. ????

Ive bought 2 of these. Both had the 2026 "shelf" life. I opened both boxes to ensure the food bars packaging was nice and vaccumed tight and wasnt punctured. I got these mainly as something I cood give to my girlfriends family in the event of a Major Disaster or Event as I keep a good size of food amd supplies prepped already. The price of under $15 is nice too because usually you can find just the food bars themselves for like $12 on Amazon so for just $3 more your getting the extra water packets and the 1 survival blanket, so it's a good deal.

Recently manufactured

Was manufactured 2 months before I ordered it so expiration date is as advertised. Haven't had one so idk what it takes like or the texture. Kinda defeats the purpose of it being an emergency ration.

Incomplete Box

First of all, this is a great idea. I bought this to replace the rations in another kit I have that had expired. However, my box came with only 4 portions of the water and its advertised on the box as 6 - my box had clearly been opened and some items removed. Very disappointing especially as this is an emergency preparedness kit, and had I not checked I would have been short water in an emergency situation.

Not as advertised, showed up with 4 juice box style emergency waters... (the water boxes also state one person should consume 5 per day) The food was only one month old so that's a plus I guess...

Comes up short, false advertising

Box and description says six waters; contains 4. Total amount of water provided is good enough for just short of 1 day, nowhere near 3 days. Also, as others have mentioned, they're tetra-pack style water boxes instead of the slightly more hardy bags. Contents are fresh however, around a month old.

Incomplete. Advertised 6 sealed pouches of water, received 4 tetrapaks of water. Good thing I checked or in an emergency I might have been short.

Happy with what I got

The items was well packed I got 2x on my order for a 50L prep go bag I'm setting up all looks good and no leaks! Is true pack could use more water but will do the job if your in a emergency.
