simplify the brake work

used this item to fix rusty brake line,no need to make flares on tubes,only insert and tight it good,no brake fluid leak.

Life Saver

I ran over a root coming out of a creek while checking fence lies and ripped the brake line off my front brakes on my off-road truck. I didn't notice it until I was at my pasture gate. I found one at a local auto supply store. It worked great. I bought this one and the next size up as a backup. Saved a lot of time and money.

Works great but buy a spare, you cannot reuse the compression sleeve in there so you get 1 shot at getting it right.

Although it says don't use on brake lines I did and it works it will hold temporarily till I can build another brake line and fix it properly

Brake line saver

These 5000 psi capability fittings gave me peace of mind, as I replaced the unsafe compression fittings the previous owner installed

Says “not for brakes” but it did a good job...

I nicked a brake line cutting out a floor pan and bought this for a splice. The packaging says “not for hydraulic brake lines” which is disconcerting, but it sealed up well. This is designed for unflared tubing (it has compression ends that seal up the ends) which seemed to do the trick.

Quick, inexpensive and long-lasting fix

Over the years I have used these on hydraulic lines, AC lines and others. Much easier than replacing, bending, flaring new lines. Just make sure the cuts to the original lines are clean and these will outlast the rest of the line with no leaks.

Did the job.

Had a leaking brake line, car was "bricked". I know the packing said not to use for hydraulic brake lines, but they did the job as a temporary fix so I could get them properly done.

OK item but didn't work for me

this item was a bust for me. I tried to use it on a brake line as a temporary fix but it just leaked anyway. wasnt able to get it tight enough to get me to the garage. the seller was good to deal with but as the product had been installed I wasn't able to get a refund,, Oh well my bad
