Handy little clamp
This is a great little clamp for small hobby projects.

Irwin Name. Quality in Engineering and Manufacturing
Have a whole set up these. They work great when you are NOT an octopus. One handed clamping. Quick release when you are done. Irwin are SUPER INTELLIGENT. Between VISE GRIPS and many other ground breaking inventions they are a mechanics BEST FRIEND

Careful of ends
These are so helpful when attaching small parts to hold or glue up parts to existing projects. But, I found that holding a thin piece of wood perpendicular to another small piece of wood has its problems keeping the clamp square. More than this though, the end pieces of the clamp are only help in place by a small detention or hole in the main clamp and dimples on the end pieces. THEY WILL COME LOOSE OR OFF. No worries, just pop them back on. But, it is an annoyance. No biggie but just be aware. On the other hand the small clamps by Irwin (4 1/2”) or DeWalt are better for holding these small pieces. The throat of the DeWalt is deeper than the Irwin. Please check this against your projects. The next step up on clamp sizes are easy to use but not as lightweight to hold really small pieces. Again, please check your project for what’s best. I hope this may help.

Good things comes in a small package
I was worried If I made the right decision ordering these Irwin clamps but when I used them they blew all my expectations. This clamp is made from plastic and it’s really sturdy and the clamping grip is very strong I really love the adjusting / removable clamp head also the quick release lock is the best. It’s 3months now and they are daily used. I believe Amazon is secretly working with aliens and scanned my brain through my laptop and designed exactly what I needed for my project! this is just my theory but I could be wrong about Amazon

serve my purpose well
I needed something to hold down the 2 wood planks on my folding work table, for fabric cutting. I was using towel clamps which were too flimsy to keep the wood from moving. These are also made of plastic and lightweight, but the jaw opening is so wide that it'll catch my folding table+2 wood planks total about 4" high. And it hold down the planks tight and secure so they don't move while I'm cutting the fabric. Since I just received them today, I don't know how long it will last, but although it's made of plastic, and lightweight (compared to metal kind), they seem to be in good quality and will last for a while for my purpose.

Makes lots of carpentry tasks much easier.
Don't you sometimes wish you had three hands (or four or six or ten)? If you are a carpenter or DIY guy (or girl) you will appreciate how nice it is to have someone hold something that you are trying to work on. This is especially nice if you don't have someone around to do things like hold boards still while you saw them or hold glue connections together until the glue sets. These four inch clamps are almost like having an extra hand only without the strange looks you would get at the grocery store. They work when so many things in our world don't. They hold boards together. They hold them steady. They are easy to clamp on and remove with one hand. The only drawback is that they can slip given enough strain on the. What do you want??? They're plastic. I would recommend this product to any DIY handyman, carpenter, or craftsman. Also I would suggest buying some different sizes. These 4 inch clamps will hold a two by four but only just. Anything thicker will require a 6 inch clamp.

Too small
This would only clamp work that is miniscule in size. I figured it was small and that is what I was looking for, but this is tiny. Yet, the strongest point on it is, the spring to release and clamp it is well made. I can only imagine the bigger version is exceptional. Yet, this is good for a child or even crafts. But not for woodworking unless your clamping toothpicks, or even match sticks. Not sure I would recommend unless for crafts, for that it would work well.

Plastic breaks. Not really for "heavy construction"
The description of the product states, "A truly professional tool designed for heavy construction". Not really. They're plastic. Under moderate pressure clamping two pieces of wood together, one of mine broke. I'm now a lot more particular on where I use my other clamps like this. So, good for light construction, but not a shop-ready product. Stick with any of the bar-style clamps. even smaller ones. They hold up better under even moderate small shop conditions.

Not as big as I thought.
I have had the yellow clamp for years and wanted a second the same size. As you can see, the new one is significantly smaller. It also costs the same as a larger clamp does, over the counter in Wickes. I'll keep it, partly because I can't be bothered to send it back, and partly because although it's not what I wanted, it may still be useful.

Easy to Use - Convenient - Well Made
Many moons ago I bought four small clamps of the same make and style and over the years they have been super useful in my workshop albeit a tad small. So, having decided to embark on a new project I felt that I could justify some new ones but bigger and thus these nice shiny ones arrived at my gaff a few weeks ago. And... I love them. They are just what I need in my workshop as quick go-to clamps when needing moderate force. Well made and even being plastic they won't break unless you have the grip of a silverback gorilla. I love the clean design and simplicity of use. Bottom line is that I like everything about these and the price is fair for what they are.

Not the ones displayed, its smaller..!!
They are not the clamps you see in photos.... Too small to hold stuff, but surprisingly it’s better than the bigger 4 inch one, maybe because it easy to squeeze as it fits your hand. Buy it if you have thin pieces to clamp, like laminate or veneer or maybe some hobby works.... I just love irwin quality, so i have a decent collection of clamps in my small hobby woodshop...

Really good innovation....Irwin Handi Clamp.
It is very handy when some is especially working ⚒ alone. It becomes an extension of the hand. The quick release mechanism is very useful.
