Not a bad unit but great value for the money
So this product is a little difficult for me to properly review with stars so I’ll explain. First of all, the 1st time I received this item it was damaged. Immediately after arriving I saw the heavily damaged Shipping box so I took photos. After opening the inner box and inspecting the product I noticed the main stainless steel outer decorative cover was slightly bent in the lower left corner. I made arrangements to have the item replaced which was a nightmare (but that’s a whole other story). I contacted amazon and the manufacturer who suggested I ask for a refund then purchase again from a different seller which I did. This process ticked me off because my shower was being remodeled and I was at the point of needing this now. But there was no speeding this process up and I was sold on the product so I agreed. After receiving a new unit from a different seller, I inspected it for damage and it was fine. But I will say the packaging from the manufacturer is a bit lacking. Installation: Installing this product is a bit tricky due to the location of the 2 Massaging jets. If you install it a regular shower arm height or higher, the jets are right about at neck height for a 5’7”’person. I wanted them lower and I wanted the shower arm but that wasn’t possible. So I decided to live with it. I will say that it was easier for me because I was completely redoing all the plumbing and installing a new shower valve. If you’re trying to install this in a shower with an existing shower valve, you’ll probably find the location of the jets to be right around face height. For me that would have been a deal breaker but luckily I was installing a new valve so I decided place the valve a bit lower than industry standard so that the jets were around shoulder height for me. That worked out fine but it took a lot of trial and error during layout to figure all that out. Functionality: Some reviews I read said this unit won’t give you a combination of settings and that you have to either select one of 3 different valve positions (rain head, hand sprayer or jets). While you do have to select a position, I’ve found that if you move the knob between 2 different positions you will get Some water from a combination Locations (but at the expense of pressure). Since we’re on the subject of pressure, my biggest disappointment was the pressure from the 2 horizontal massage heads. I was expecting more of a high pressure massage jet streams. These deliver more of a higher pressure mist - like a car wash rinse, not a high pressure massaging jet like a hot tub. I also don’t like that this unit comes with a beautiful brushed nickel & stainless steel body then they pair that with a chrome plated shower head so I changed out the shower head for a more desirable look. I’m also going to change the hand held shower head on the hose for the same reason. I also read reviews that some of the controls stopped functioning after a few months. Ive had this installed and working for 2 weeks now and have had no issues with it. But I will report back in 6 months with an update. OVERALL: This is a great unit for the money if you’re not as finicky as I am. I spent a lot of time researching these for my master bath remodel. I love the look, it works well and was pretty easy to install (though I should mention I am a contractor). Aside from the pressure from the jets, I’m pleased with how this unit is working. So in the end I decided to not take packaging or installation into account for a review rating. I deducted 1 Star for the massage jets and 1 star for the finish. I would have given it 5 stars if the jets were massage jets and the finish was all brushed nickel. I hope this was helpful

Make sure you have top clearance of 9"+
I received the package, and took everything out. All pieces were there, and the product seemed of good, heavy duty construction. I then read through all of the instructions, and made sure I had plenty of room between the existing water shutoff handle and the existing shower arm connection to the water source, as stated in the instructions. I did not see anywhere in the ordering description or the instructions, that a great deal of clearance would also be necessary between the shower arm connection to the water source and the ceiling. I did not become aware of this problem until I dry fitted the product, prior to final assembly. As you can see in the first photo, the new shower arm comes out of the panel about 4" above where the existing shower arm (water source) is, on your wall. (This is where the connection hose will attach to the wall/water source.) Then, the top of the fixed panel is another 2" above that. And the top of the bend in the new shower arm is yet another 3" above that. So, even though I have a sloped ceiling above my existing shower head, as shown in the second photo, the 6" between the water hookup in the panel to the top of the panel (at 6") was too tall to get into my existing 4" clearance space. So disappointing. Even if I could have replaced the upward sloping (new) shower arm, with a downward sloping replacement arm, I thought I might still be able to make it work, by substituting a longer hose for the water connection, so it would line up with the new outgoing shower arm (putting the top of the panel only 2" above the water connection). But, alas, that won't work either, since the connection parts for the new shower arm (inside the panel) are in the way, so the water connection to the wall cannot be in that same space. So much more DIY ingenuity. Please make sure you have at least 9" of clearance above your existing shower arm connection, if you are going to purchase this product. I am going to have to send mine back.

Nice looking, works very well, very good value, I recommend it.
The only issue I have with this shower unit is the inside connections. They are not very tight and all plastic connections. I tightened the ones I could get to but some are not easily accessible. However since it mounts on the outside of the wall; the very minor leak is a non issue. Overall I am very pleased with unit and would recommend it!

Excellent showet spa!
I am extremely happy with the Aloha shower spa. It works great. You do need to make sure you have sufficient water pressure. I also took out the flow restrictor during installation. What I did was to add an external in line flow control valve at the hand held arm so that my wife could lower the flow when she shampoos her hair. You can use two functions at a time but the pressure will be less for each function. We just totally redid our master bath and this adds a real rich touch and the price was not that bad. I will point out that my unit leaked at the front when I installed it. I wrote to the company Pulse Showet Spa and they sent me a replacement cartridge with instructions. Problem solved! They were very nice and I felt they had great customer service. As a matter of fact when I first received the spa a few weeks earlier, I felt I was missing some hardware and they shipped out another bag a hardware. All this was for free so I really can't say enough about the customer service. I would definitely recommend this model.

Nice upgrade for the master shower
The Builder's shower hardware in our new home left a lot to be desired. However the tile work in the shower was beautiful. So when looking for an upgrade to the existing shower head we wanted something that would not involve cutting or removing tile. The Pulse was perfect for our application not only did it provide a rain shower head, but hand wand and two body jets without having to re-plumb. This unit was easy to install, material quality is excellent, and it looks great on the wall. Used it for the first time today and I couldn't be happier. Wife loves it too. All in all, I would say it is a great value for the money.
