Excellent fit

Replaced a Moen tub spigot no problem. Basically if you have 1/2" pipe coming from the wall and it is threaded at exactly 4" from the wall this will just screw right on and you tighten it until its pointing down. Use a loop or two of pipe tape and put the tape on clockwise.

Drips a little but looks nice

Bought this in "used but new condition" because I was having trouble finding a shower diverter that fit my tub. Box was patched together indicating someone else bought this and sent it back. Looks to be in good shape so I'll keep it. It does drip a little bit once you pull the handle up to activate the shower (reason for only 4 stars), but as long as it doesn't get worse I can live with that. This connects to my 1/2 inch threaded copper water pipe and the connection was easy and solid. Brushed nickel finish looks good and pretty much matches my existing faucets and shut-offs.

Easy fit to our tub, fixes the leak!

Arrived promptly and took five minutes to install (after cutting the caulk on the old one). Threaded onto the four inch nipple. Fixed the leak in the older spout caused by calcium buildup. Hopefully this model will last longer than the one it replaced. That model, bought at the local DIY centers, leaked badly after just five years.

It fits and works.

Easy installation for a older hard to find part replacement. The older unit diverting valve seals and corrosion on the slide, was not rebuildable. Worked for the application needed.

Worked great for my application.

Had to replace my spout due to limestone deposits ( people in the North East with hard water know all about the white grout like stuff that builds up on your spouts, shower heads, faucets, etc.). Buildup was so bad I couldn't pull the diverter to activate the shower. Anyway the old one was probably 25 years old, so I just bought a new one. Matched my existing exactly outside and in, twisted on to the copper pipe with a little Teflon tape, and voila, now I have a shiny new spout, hopefully lasts another 25+ years.
