One was not as pliable.
The dryer one was harder to work.

Works great for small masonry repairs. Easier and cleaner than caulk.
I have an older brick home, and I am constantly filling in small areas where mortar has come loose or popped out over the years. Usually, I usually use mortar repair caulk, but I had a very small job this time around, and I did not need an entire tube of caulk. I am so glad I found this. It is similar to "play doh" or "silly putty." You mold it between your fingers to "mix" and then you press it into your mortar, shaping as you go. Much like silly putty, you can roll it between your hands to form a long "snake" shape, which works great for slim mortar joints. Dries quickly and adhered well to my preexisting mortar. Three tips: 1) Even though the instructions show you can mix this with bare hands, the epoxy will leave residue on your skin. You may want to use gloves for easier cleanup; 2) One tube does not go far so you probably want to pick up a couple tubes if you have bigger project; 3) The color of the epoxy does not exactly match my brick mortar (but then again, the mortar repair caulk does not match either). Just a heads up if it extremely important that you match the color of your item to the epoxy.

Bonds Metal to Masonry Too!
We have a brick home and a couple metal hose reels mounted to the house for garden hoses. At least we TRY and mount them to the house. It's not easy to drill into a brick house to anchor something like this and they often fall off at least once a season. We spotted this product and wondered if it would fuse a metal hose holder to a masonry house. IT DOES! We took down the house reel on a warmer day, kneaded this product and then rolled it out like clay to a 1/2 "string". We then pressed it against the areas of the metal reel that would come in contact with the brick and firmly pressed it onto the brick wall as if we had used super glue (holding it for a moment or two). We waited a day to make sure it cured and you can't budge that hose reel. We don't want to push our luck but we have even put a lot of weight on it and it doesn't move! So if you are looking to bond metal to masonry.. this works! Love it!

Used to repair our fountain that shattered!
Above pictures- broken fountain, birds shattered. Repaired with 2 kinds of cement epoxy. The other kid was like caulk. I used it to attach the body back together, wings, etc. I used this stuff to re-make the beaks, repair chunks of missing wing and feather, and fill in missing gaps. This stuff is very thick, and hardens fast. Once cured, I painted, then polyurethaned, and you cannot even tell it was ever broken! Highly recommend for a project that needs sturdy, thick, hard cement repair putty.

Great product, but plan to use quickly
I love this stuff. I udually buy it in the store, but I needed several for a project and didn't want tondrive all over so boight online. This is the same product, but it's a bit "drier" than what I've purchased in store previously. End product seems to be axactly the same, but these took more effort to knead, and I'd be concerned about storing them for an extended time before use, but if you're just ordering what you need, the proce is certainly better than the stores. The dryness is the only reason I did 4 stars instead of 5, and yours might arrive just fine, I can only speak to my experience. It's a tremendous product that allows you to sculpt into pretty much any size or shape you need.

Easy to use. Replaced a broken brick. Color is not great and not much product
I have a brick porch with mortar. One of the edge brick broke in half. I used this to adhere/glue the broken brick back and fill the crevice. This is like JB weld for bricks. It is a small tube. Cut it in half, knead it, apply, and it is done. You can then use the extra to mold and fill the gaps. The putty looks nothing like cement or mortar but he product does adhere to the brick. And, there's not much if you plan on filling a large void. So, it's more like glue for bricks.

Can’t live without this!
I use this product to repair so many resin, cement and fiberglass/plaster items. It is amazingly easy to use and adheres so easily. The material sets up quickly and it is easy to shape, sand and paint. It can make a chipped or cracked item look brand new!
