The best
The best nit free tool

Best nit remover
Best on the market nit remover. Good for about a couple dozen uses and then starts to work good instead of great. Maybe because of being used on very thick hair. Still only nit remover I would purchase.

Best comb for nits
This comb helped me with my girls that have really long hair. I mixed tea tree oil with conditioner and water. Poured it on hair and combed out the nits and the crawling lice. The comb catches all the lice and nits. Do every day for a week. Comb out in small sections and wipe comb on a paper towel. All the other combs I bought were cheap and broke easily. This one was the best one. Does the job!

A great thing to have around if you have an exposure scare, whether you contract or not!
So far, we’ve had nothing but a scare… and I probably went overboard with buying every Hari rap preparation I could get my hands on to smother, remove and deter the gross pests, but I can barely say the word lice without having a visceral reaction of repulsion. LOLThe comb kind of hurts if you have a sensitive scalp but in order the get it right next to the scalp and sweet any offenders or the tiny eggs off every single hair…you’d need that. If you are anti-chemical, like we are…you can douse your scalp in coconut oil and cover it with a plastic bag, letting it sit to smother any living creatures for hours, Then, you’d use this comp to very methodically comb through every section of your hat…whether there is anything there or not. Better safe than sorry, even though this is a real pain. The comb is totally cleanable and reusable so it’s just a good thing to have around because you don’t want to have to be panicking, trying to find what you’d need to start treatment unexpectedly. When you have kids, lice is something that always kind of has to be in your radar so you can be ready if you get that dreaded notification.

Absolutely buy it!
Do not even hesitate to buy this comb! I found out my 5 yr old had lice on a Sunday. This is our first time dealing with lice. I panicked and immediately bought Nix. I treated her hair and used the comb that came with it. It removed a few bugs but combed right over nits. I spent the next few days picking nits out of her hair every afternoon, feeling like no end in sight and like I was going to have a nervous breakdown. I came across this comb and immediately purchased. I did a 2nd treatment of Nix on Thursday, which still didn't work. Received this comb Friday. It's a total game changer. I was absolutely shocked at all the nits and lice nymphs it pulled out. It's absolutely painful to pull through dry hair, so what I did is covered her head in white suave conditioner. It made it so much easier to comb through and everything stuck to it. I started at the top of her had and swiped down all the way around her head (wiping on a paper towel and dipping in warm water with each swipe) then sectioned off her hair into 2-3 inch sections and swiped four ways on each. This took a while, but by Saturday she was completely clean. I found out I had lice that same day. Conditioned my hair and used the comb (after boiling in water) found 4 nymphs and 10+ nits. Bought licefreee spray from Target and followed directions. Combed myself on Monday and Tuesday and am completely nit and lice free. This comb saved my sanity. It's a beast!

Works wonder!
This brush is a total life saver! I was so frustrated because I was worried that I’d never get them out and it was taking years to take them out one by one. I was able to comb all the nits out that I wasn’t able to with the comb that came with the treatment kit. I highly recommend.

works great
it was unfortunate i had to research these products in the first place, but my three year old came home scratching one day and lo and behold... EW!!!!! After a few days of using the crappy, painful plastic combs that come with lice removal kits, I was sent this way by a forum thread of moms who'd dealt with this before. My eyes were kind of swimming, actually, as there are a million and one different brands of these combs, all of which look pretty much the same. So, since we could only douse our heads in chemicals once every seven days, i went to war with a lot of natural solutions - and one of them included similar ingredients to Fairy Tales spray, and I think that's why I went ahead and chose this comb (that and, well, the name... the name...) It's also why I only gave it 4 out of five stars - because I really just can't see the difference between this and other combs that look just like it, other than the packaging. Turns out, covering our heads in coconut oil and a variety of essential oils worked better than the nastiest chemicals you could buy at the drug store, and made me feel a lot safer about having to treat my three year old for this issue. She looked ridiculously cute in a shower cap, too. And when the comb arrived, I was happy at the ease with which it slipped through my daughter's poor, abused hair in a way that awful, stupid plastic comb never could, and how much gunk it picked up out of there. Then, I took it to MY hair. Friends, I have hair to the middle of my back. It is thick with large corkscrew curls. Suffice it to say, combing it for nits with that little plastic comb from the kit was about as possible as getting an elephant to sit in a church pew. This comb was FAR, FAR easier to work with. I also noticed something else - I had a bit of dandruff after the lice chemical treatment. My scalp reacted terribly to the stuff and flaked quite a bit in my obsessive treatment process (first chemicals, then a natural treatment on both of us EVERY SINGLE DAY FOR A WEEK, because this is the first time in 40 years I have ever encountered lice) - so, I actually used this comb to do a quick dandruff removal fix on my way out the door and it worked wonderfully for that, too. Who knew...

Buy this now
5 stars! A million times it would get 5 stars! Buy this now if you have children in school. Even if you dont have lice, buy it now! My daughter came home with lice! Tons of them, i litterally picked for 5 hours trying to get all the eggs. She has thick waist length hair. I ordered this that night. Everyone else in the house was checked and everyone else was good. I kept checking her every night and would find a handful of new eggs. There was an adult in there i could not find! Fast forward to this came in and i went through her hair. Got him! Yay Then i decided to check my hair since i can go through my own hair. And I found one! Omg after other people checked there was one in there. I went through my hair meticulously with the comb and found 1 adult, 3 baby and a couple eggs. Got them all first time with the comb. Dont get me wrong i went through my hair every day for 2 weeks with it to be sure. But never found anything else. This is a life saver! Worth it for sure.

Comb didn't pick up any of the visible nits. -1 rating from me
I do not understand the 120+ five star reviews on this comb!?! The handle on it was rusty when it arrived, which made me leery right away. This comb did not pick up any lice or nits which were visible in the hair. Did not pick anything out of wet, damp, or dry hair. I tried using it with conditioner in the hair, and it picked up some, but pulled out the whole strand of hair with each nit :( Not recommended at all - save your money rather than buying this comb, as well as saving yourself from disappointment and more stress about getting rid of lice, because this comb will not do the job.

worth every penny... and then some.
This thing works WAY better than any comb I've tried. It gets nits from the thinnest of hair. it has little ridges cut into each of the bristles to work the hair through. it lives up to it's name, well worth the money. I could see on a boy (or girl with very short hair) you could get away with only using the comb (and doing the mountain of clean up that comes with lice) Kid starting kindergarden??? buy this now and save paying for an extra cheap drugstore one in a panic while this one is in shipment.

Amazing quality, worth every penny
Have used several 'pharmacy kits' with their cheap combs. Teeth break off after a couple of uses. Had a hard time clearing my kidsof their lice. Bought this comb and was able to remove everything in one sitting, but used it two days in a row to ensure everything was removed effectively. Very sturdy. You definitely get what you pay for with this purchase. Highly recommended.
