Great for sensitive skin
I have a toddler with horrible asthma. This went on very easy and was able to comb her hair and be done with the process. No horrible chemical smell and not a bit of discomfort at all for the child. I also love thier rosemary prevention products.

Great product.
We’ve unfortunately needed this item several times now but it definitely works great. This is my go to for lice. Coconut oil and olive oil work great too but I like to do a separate treatment with this as well. The metal comb is a joke, if you rely on it alone (like I did the first time we ever experienced lice) you will miss a lot. Best thing you can do is go through tiny sections pulling out the nits with your fingernails.

It works for the Amish!
I have an Amish friend I buy eggs from who asked me in desperation if I knew of anything that would kill lice. She'd been dealing with it for a year with her little ones. She has several! I told her Tea Tree oil and that's when she declared she'd tried everything. So, I asked a friend who uses only natural remedies and she told me Fairy Tales is the only thing that works. Totally taking her word for it, I order this treatment AND the Terminator comb and gave it to my Amish friend (who gladly paid me). A week later she said she thought it was working, but wasn't sure because there were still some lice, though they were less and less. About three weeks after giving it to her I came to her house and she greeted me with the biggest smile and a huge thank you. No more lice and she still combs her kids' hair with the Terminator just to be sure. She said the product loosens the lice/eggs BUT it was the comb that got them out like nothing else. She was impressed by how long the product lasted as she used it on two or three little ones and still hasn't run out! She's asking me to order several more for all her friends in the Amish community, saying it is rampant in their schools. She says it was a God-send that she asked me, as we don't talk about much other than how many eggs I want to buy! :)

1/2 the price of my local pharmacy & it works!
1/2 the price of my local pharmacy, a little Expensive but it works!!! and I'm not worried about using it on my little one. Used the cheap stuff on myself as a precaution when daycare brought "guests" into the home and it reminded me why I purchased this for her. Pesticide laden crap feels like acid in your hair, you don't want to use that on a child whose hating the process as much as you are, goodness know what hell that it would be to get it in their eyes. Trust me there is nothing LESS fun than using a lice comb on a 6 year old. Its a foam so it stays in place, its easy to use the comb with (The pesticide crap has to sell you a gel to facilitate combing and is a very very thin liquid that likes to drip) and I could use it 2/3 times in a row. 1 bottle was good for ~3 uses on a 6 year old with hair to her waist. I ended up buying 2 to treat 3 people. 2 as a precaution with short hair 1x and the 6 year old with really long hair (the incubee) we treated 2X; waited a week and treated 2xmore. It comes with a reasonably sized plastic comb. I recommend getting a disposable shower cap. 1/2 the price of my local pharmacy

I give it 5 stars on everything used it on my toddler twice he is only 1 and I don’t know where he got lice from and I felt so bad and since he is always moving it was so hard to try and take them out. I did it a bit different I would bathe my son and right after add the product and just leave it on I would I didn’t comb through it until he went to sleep just slowly comb through and took out what I could but after those 2 times I’ve checked him and I haven’t seen any lice or the nits and he isn’t scratching anymore I also used it myself and my husband just in case we got them even though we checked each other and didn’t find anything overall great results

If you have superlice, this don't work, go straight to doctor
This reduces lice but will not eliminate superlice. If you can't seem to get rid of them, just go to the doctor and they'll prescribe the heavy duty stuff that will kill the nits and it won't matter whether they're still stuck to your hair or not- we wish we had done that instead, my kids could have gone next to school the next day.

NOT A PESTICIDE
Fairytales Mousse is not a pesticide, it is an enzyme. It will not kill lice, but it does make the removal of them easier by dissolving the glue that fastens nits to the hair shaft, making it easier to comb them out of the hair! It also seems to stun the adult lice, making them slower moving and easier to find and comb out of hair. Since this is not a poison, you can reapply immediately after first treatment, if necessary. Combing is the most important aspect of any lice treatment. Section hair and comb each section upwards, downwards, and sideways from both sides. Do that every 2-3 days even if you use the pesticidal shampoos! Invest in the metal lice comb, it is far superior to the plastic ones. I live in a state that has the strain of super lice that is resistant to the conventional pesticide shampoo treatments and I have two granddaughters who have been infected with lice several times in the last two years!! I'd much rather use this and work a littler harder than dousing their little heads in poison!

The reason four only four stars addresses dual sisde if the same issue. You have to use it more than once. FLIP SIDE.., you can you is it as often as you need to. Super safe. I will admit the nasayers calling this hopped up saltwater, had me second guessing this decision. THIS IS THE ONLY THING WE HAVE TRIED THAT WORKS. You need one of those real deal combs (got mine for like $10 on amazon). If my daughter scratched we did a "comb through". I rinsed the comb in a bowl of hot water after each pass. I saw the number of critters decrease and finallly cease. I will say hair being up or braided at school helped could have also played a factor. It felt like we fought this for about a year. It is a very nice feeling to be a peace with my childrens heads.

Spend your money on a good lice comb, not this product.
Its easy to use and I like that it's not chemical-based but I'm uncertain if it really works. I used it in conjunction with a metal fine-tooth lice comb (not the plastic one it comes with -- get the $$ metal ones from a pharmacy). I think it was really the comb that did all the work.... Lice Good-Bye seemed to help the comb move through the hair, but so does conditioner. I combed my kids' hair every day for the first 3 days, then 3 days later, then 3 days after that, then again 3 days after that. it was probably overkill but my daughter has very thick, long-ish hair and though the little suckers could find hiding places. I used Lice Good-Bye only the first time. I still found lice the second and third comb-through, but not the third or fourth (which is why I think it was the comb, not the product). The comb is expensive enough! I won't spend money on this one again.

This item takes it times but after few uses, it really works. My hair no longer has lice + hair bug and I am very happy with the product.
