LOVE IT!!!
I bought this for an elderly person who loves to watch birds! Her bird feeder was old and moldy so I decided to give her this as a gift!! I personally installed this for her (well, there's nothing to install actually! it comes in 1 piece!) all I did was filled the bird food! The birds came right after and seemed like enjoying this new feeder :-) I saw 4 birds eating at the same time! I am so happy with this and I will come back to buy another one for my other friend :))

Great for small birds
Cardinals do not like this feeder. The little birds go crazy over it, they love it, and you'll get lots of them feeding, I end up filling this every 3rd or 4th day, but buy a 2nd one to get Cardinals, the dish at the bottom is too small the perches that stick out are too tiny and thin, and so no place bottom or top for a larger bird to grip. Had to buy another feeder that had a Cardinal Ring.

Looks and function in one feeder.
The best feature of this feeder is the fact that it can handle 2 sizes of seed with just a twist of the feeding tubes. I use sunflower seed as well as a smaller seed at time. With just a twist, I can change the size of the feeding opening. Also, there is a little tray at the bottom of the feeder that "catches" the seed that birds tend to shovel out for their flightless friends. In fact, I lost more seed that way than from what the birds eat. This is a great idea!!

Thistle feeding birds love this feeder
Easy to fill and and has the option of regular seed or Thistle (gold finches love that) .. updated bottom removal (no tools required) helps cleaning .. sturdy and very stylish.

Very light.
Not suitable for a very windy environment. Hasn't blown off the hanging stand yet, but I've seen it horizontal and seed going everywhere. Not a big fan of the rotating ports - they turn too easily and end up halfway around which confuses our very unsophisticated birds. Haven't tried with thistle. Under the right conditions should be fine feeder.

Disappointed
Although it's metal, it's cheaply put together. The top feels like if a big wind gust came along it would blow it off. The adjustable ports turn too easily

Small, Lightweight Tube
I love most of my Perky Pet feeders, but this one is just okay. It has some useful features: feeding ports that can be twisted to thistle or regular seeds; a saucer base to catch falling seeds; an easy to lift top for filling; and a base that can be removed (with some struggle) to clean out the interior. It has six ports, even though it's rare for birds to feel comfortable with all the perches filled. And I like that the top hook can easily be put on a shepherd's hook. All those features are five stars; however, the feeder itself is extremely lightweight so that it can blow in the wind, knocking the seeds out of the base and even out of the larger port opening. Also, I have to refill it almost every day because of its small capacity. The 2.5" opening is narrow enough to make filling awkward. A tube feeder with six ports really needs to be larger, and one with a hopper needs to be heavier. The feeder almost feels disposable. There's nothing intrinsically wrong with this feeder, especially if you don't have a lot of birds. I'm just not wild about it, especially given other Perky Pet feeders I've used. -- Debbie Lee Wesselmann

MY BIRDS ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT!!!!
I would most certainly recommend this bird feeder. Its ideal with the small tray underneath it acts as a seed catcher. Don't be alarmed if your birds don't feed straightaway. They will be back with all their mates as well. Its just that its new and they don't like change. I thought it was well priced and it also looks better than the old green plastic ones. I've even had collared doves land and feed off it. Well worth the money!

Poor Design
the problem with this feeder is that blue tits are very energetic and spray the seed everywhere. the bottom plate is just not large enough to catch the spilled seeds. I have tried to limit the openings to the minimum and only fill up about a quarter full. This limits the pressure on the seed and reduces the mess and rats. poor design.

Inexpensive, but flawed
Very flimsy, was in pieces on delivery, and it kept falling apart. Had to put more of a bend in the wire hanger to stop it coming adrift. Also had to make small modifications to the lugs on the base to keep it from falling off. That said, it is incredibly cheap. Problem will come when it need cleaning, as it is not designed to be stripped down easily.

Waste of money
By far the worse burd feeder ive purchased...expensive waste of money..very hard to clean and keeps falling off the tree...the design is poor..very disappointed..

It looks pretty in the pictures but the birds were not keen and it started to show signs of weathering within a few days of being hung outside. It is very large and unless you have a flock of birds visiting they won't get through all the food it can hold anytime soon.
