Cut down on bees

A nice looking feeder. Easy to take apart and clean. The bee cages keep most of the bees out but the liquid, when full, gets out to the bottom of the flower and the bees find it. So the cages keep most of the bees off. It is hard to know how far to push flower and bee cage on, there isn’t a clear index or stop on the nozzles. If you have no bees then it works fine as a feeder.

Out Favorite Hummingbird Feeder

While our little hummingbirds fly north from South America for the spring-fall, they enjoy a place to rest their wings while enjoying their sugar water, which is 1 part sugar, and 4 parts water. Do not purchase the red hummingbird feed.

Great design, but....

I love this because of the bee guards and the ant moat, but it drips continually from the "flowers". I'm going to have to find a different one.

This feeder keeps the bees out!

We have Africanized bees in AZ, & they are aggressive & can be Lethal to people , pets, & hummingbirds. This feeder is study, inexpensive, & really keeps the bees out. There are plenty of flowers & trees in bloom now. The bees are just going to have to get their food from them.

It leaks!

Waste of money

I wish I would have listened to those who said this thing leaks! What a waste of money on the feeder AND sugar which isn't cheap. I am so disappointed, I tried everything to stop the leaking short of taping the whole thing shut and then it probably would have leaked anyway, I'm not rich just wanted to feed the hummers. Guess I'll go to where I bought my last one... giant tiger , less money and sure as heck does not leak! I will try to reach out to the seller, but no high hopes on refund.

it started to leak about a week after I purchased it.

I've continued to hang it even though It has a "steady" leak. Now we have wasps and b/c of them we had to take all of our other hummingbird feeders in. The hummingbirds are here throughout the day looking for their food source and I hate to see that. It's too late to return this feeder now. I should have done so as soon as I noticed the leak.

The birds love it - but this is $20 less at Home Hardware

5 - stars for quality of product - My humming birds (and orioles - at the beginning of the season :) ) LOVE this bird feeder. I am pleased with the ease of cleaning because it is glass - more sanitary than plastic feeders. 4 - stars because of $$ - I have recently seen it at Home Hardware (Kitchener ON) for under $30.00.

It drips a bit.

I’ve got Baltimore orioles going to it as well as hummingbirds. I find it drips a bit. So far, no ants in it, which is a great feature. The glass bottle is much appreciated over the plastic.

Straightforward and easy.

This feeder has brought hummingbirds to our kitchen window very quickly. Easy to clean, attractive to the birds, and very easy install. Filling and cleaning is easy with minimal mess.
