Great for ignoring your boss
I love the Honeywell Howard light series of headphones and these are basically the same but with Bluetooth. I wish the volume knob on the side had a little more weaght to it so I would be a little harder to bump and they were a 15 db not 25 but that's it These are great for putting music on and ignoring your boss, shitposting in a discord call while running a grinder and music at work.

Comfortable! USA made
The only real negative I can say is why can't the USA made one's have all the bells and whistles too? These have what you need if you just want to use BT or mini jack... but why can't it have a radio too? Oh, and decibel protected external mikes for local hearing inhancement (situational awareness) ??? The boom mike works well, quite well for canceling out background noises and mostly only transmits your voice. But it does pick up and transmitted other random odd noises which are not steady or exceed the decibel limits but wind, jets, engines and the likes won't be heard. And 4.1 BT is a bit out dated, as is the old style micro USB. But it does seem to be built well enough. You can replace the muff pads and there are a bunch I see for replacement options. The audio is good enough though not great and will not go very loud if you want to listen to loud music. But loud enough you can hear it even in a loud engine room or the likes... oh hey! Update! If you use the musicolet app from Google play, it does not follow the rules for the volume decibels limmits... it still is not cranking, but it is loud enough to actually enjoy a little more

Better for the shop, not sure about the range
I wasn't sure which product I should buy but I saw that this Sync and the Walker XCEL bluetooth ear protection both had free returns, so I ordered both. Over the course of an afternoon, I compared both in my wood shop. I used Spotify on my Android phone as the source for music. My findings are as follows: Hearing protection - my loudest machine is my jointer, and while operating it, the Honeywell blocked more noise. I tried all settings on the Walker and none did as well. Winner - Sync Sound quality - despite playing with the equalizer settings, I couldn't get the Sync to sound great ( I spoil myself when not in the shop with a pair of Marshalls), but the unit outperformed the Walker to my ear. I listen to bluesy rock and alternative if it matter. The XCEL may have better highs, but didnt make up fo the lack of mid and base. Winner - Sync Ease of use - both were easy to set up. Had to charge the Sync first, but no big deal - Tie Tuning out my wife - I was unable to hear her at all at normal conversation volume while wearing the Sync. Her voice came through the speakers to a variable degree on different settings with the XCEL. She needed to speak a bit louder than normal for me to be able to understand her. Winner - Sync . However, in a situation where communication might be important , as on the range with other shooters, the XCEL might be better. Comfort - both are light and have a beefy, well padded headband and well padded muffs. The Sync is just a little tight on my fat head compared to the XCEL . Winner - XCEL Build quality - both are solid. The only negative I can find with the Sync is that the battery is built in and not replaceable without expertise and effort. The XCEL uses 2 AAAs. Winner - XCEL Verdict - I'm sending the XCEL back because it doesn't perform either of its most important (to me) functions- hearing protection and music playback - as well as the Sync. I just wish the Sync had replaceable batteries, and hopefully the headband will loosen a little with time.

Couldn’t ask for a better headphone
These headphones are awesome. I’m on my second pair in 6 years. They last me about 24 hours before needing a charge. I used to work in a rock quarry and would run heavy equipment with the doors open and was still able to have a clear conversation. HIGHLY recommend

So close
Pros: -Excellent noise cancelling microphone. People were able to hear me clearly next to incredibly loud machinery. -Build quality was spot on. -The controls are convenient and responsive Cons: -Not very good sound quality. -Not very loud, which I understand... But I would find myself trying to turn up the volume and would already be at the max level. -The ear cups are too shallow. My ears are a bit on the larger side, and after a couple hours the pain is unbearable. Not convenient for wearing glasses as there isn't sufficient padding. My searches didn't find me any upgraded/deeper ear pads, which is unfortunate because it would make a world of difference. But, if you have smaller ears, don't wear glasses, and don't need the best sound quality... I can't imagine a better a better value headset.

Audiophile grade headphones these are not, but if you like some tunes while you work they are great.
The intent with these was to use them as a headset on my office computer (loud, open office), to both be able to take phone calls and to listen to music or whatever else when not on the phone. What is unfortunate is that when used in this way the audio quality (of the music) is quite poor. That's no fault of this headset, it's the limited bandwidth of Bluetooth...and it's why headsets like the Plantronics Voyager Focus come with their own little dongle to connect from the computer (they do more than standard Bluetooth.) The audio quality on the Voyager's is quite good, but even with active noise cancellation they don't block out a lot of outside noise. To be clear, if used solely for music from the computer these Honeywell's sound quite good. It's when in 'headset' mode where the Bluetooth bandwidth is split between sending and receiving that the audio quality drops. Even then it's only for music...voice sounds just fine, and I've been told the microphone sounds great. This is down to how the computer is doing it, as when paired with my phone I can take calls and listen to music without difficulty. Certainly it's not the fault of the headset. They block outside noise very well. I've been listening to music while using various power tools (circular saw, jigsaw, mitre saw, table saw, etc.) that can be quite loud without hearing protection, and I have to say I can hardly hear anything. An interesting thing is that with nothing playing you can hear a bit, but with some music on - even very low - there's enough there for your ears that you can't hear the outside noise any longer. The earpads are very comfortable. I wear glasses, and they wrap around them quite nicely and give a good seal. The headband is very comfortable. These cans also don't get very loud. Following on the theme of protecting your hearing, you can't blast them. I was disappointed at first, but then being able to hear with clarity regardless of outside noise means I don't need to blast them to hear the music or block out noise. Audio quality is pretty good but not stellar. Don't expect too much and you won't be disappointed. This is where they lost one star for me...there's probably some technical limitation, but I just wish they were punchier. Looking forward to mowing the lawn this summer with these on...I can have my music while blocking out the mower - and if anyone needs me they can just call me up and I don't have to skip a beat. A worthy purchase for the price.

Worked as expected
Gentlemen here is my review on this Honeywell earmuffs Bluetooth I'd like to start off by saying these are very nice earmuffs. Having said that I will tell you the pros and cons of these earmuffs Pro Bluetooth conductivity the ability to muffle sound leaving you in a nice quiet environment in your head being able to communicate via Bluetooth taking phone calls and music awesome right?. Con the volume on this headset is not loud at all at full volume it is just a little higher than conversation I know disappointing right? But the headsets works so well if you can get past that it is a very comfortable volume and you can still hear your music fine even in extremely noisy area I use a turbo torch. For those of us who are in HVAC and plumbing this torch is stupidly loud it's like having a screaming baby on 11 screaming in your ear but I'm able to hear my music comfortably in a small sound of the torch in the background it is amazing how they made that happen how it works like that I highly recommend it takes a little while to get used to the low volume of the music but for all the pros it's worth it I think

Very good phone headset for loud environments. - 2 yr update, still working great.
Microphone noise cancelling works very well. Noise isolation is good. Sound quality for calls is good. Music is not bad but I usually do not listen to music while working in a load hazardous area. I would gladly buy these again if I need another set. I would absolutely upgrade if they came out with active noise cancelation version. Dec2022- still working great.

Great for work in data centers
I work in a data center and it can be tricky to communicate with remote personnel when working in the modules due to the strong ambiant noise and the fans blowing on the microphones. We tried many types of bluetooth headsets but none allowed us to be heard adequately without moving away from the racks. We bought a set of Honeywell RWS-53016 to test and I have to say that I'm very impressed so far. I can hear and be heard perfectly on phone conversations even when I'm right next to the most noisy servers we've got. The range is also very good, allowing me to move pretty far away from my computer/phone to work in other rows without loss of signal. We will buy more of these for our technicians and I recommend this product to other professionals working in similar environments. Pros : -Excellent microphone performance in noisy environments; -Good bluetooth range; -Decent audio quality; -Good noise protection even when turned off; -Earmuff's cushions can be replaced as needed. Cons: -Audio quality might not be on par to some similarly priced headsets, but it is decent enough to listen to music while working; -Relatively long battery charging time; -A "listen in" button could have been nice to allow us for exemple to talk to someone next to us without removing the headset or shouting.

Excellent headphones for noisy working conditions.
Best bluetooth headphones for the price for earmuffs. Works clear with my phone and I run heavy equipment. It even let's me know when I have texts or emails coming in. Boom mic is excellent to talk thru well operating machines and the other caller can hear clearly. Charge lasts long. Highly recommend
