They helped protect my hearing.

I didn't use in extreme noise , like jack hammering but used with grinding cut off wheel. Worked great.

Good Ear protection! But a little small.

I prefer ear muffs over ear plugs, just cause they are easy to put on & take off. They can be extended but for me, I have an almost huge head, lol, so putting them over your head will get uncomfortable eventually, especially with goggles on: the strap will be held tight on the side of your head with these muffs on. I actually put them on with the head band hanging towards the back of my head. This can lead to a little bit of issue with certain head movements, as they allow for loud noise to seep in, I mean you can(& you should, depending on what job your doing or what environment your in) wear ear plugs in addition with these muffs just in case. Overall I just needed them for a one semester college class of construction, so I wasn't really exposed to too much ear-damaging noise. - Usually if I wore these muffs for more than two hours, only then would they hurt my head, but keep in mind that I also wore goggles with eyeglasses, so both eyeglasses and goggle strap are held extra tightly on my head with the muffs on, which is a good thing, but to an extent before the pain comes on. Its really not that bad though, they're tolerable. -Oh, and they are definitely bulky, I knew they were going to be big but when I had the physical item delivered, boy were they HUGE in my hand and head! haha but more comfortable for me than ear plugs, cause I have small ear canals. - I have used them at least once a week for about 4 months, dropped them about three times, and they still seem sturdy and tough. Good Dewalt product:)

On the small side, but nice

I bought these to replace a cheaper pair that one of my dogs decided to obliterate. I was happy with my old pair, but I've got to say that these are nicer. My old pair were rated a 22 and these are a 29. They definitely block more sound. Usually 22 is enough, but I was doing some extensive work with an angle grinder and this definitely made for a more peaceful experience. A wooden gate fell over while I was working and I wouldn't have noticed except I saw my father-in-law jump :P You can carry on a conversation with these on, but it's difficult. The earmuffs fold down into a pretty small package, and the cups stay pressed together which is nice for keeping dust and such out. I cut the packaging open carefully and I'm using that as a makeshift case as well. These could use another inch or so of adjustment. I've got them adjusted to their largest size and they barely fit. I do have a big head (adjustable baseball caps are usually on the last hole on my head). My hair is buzzed short, and it's a close enough fit now that I think growing my hair out would make these unusable for me. If you don't have a giant noggin you'll probably be fine.

Not overly adjustable

Despite the DeWalt brand name on the product, what usually suggests exceptional quality, the quality of this hearing protection actually does not feel that exceptional. It does an OK job when it comes to noise cancellation, but I used similarly priced hearing protections from other brands which are somewhat better. For smaller heads this product is probably comfortable, unfortunately it barely manages to fit my (I would say) regular sized head and people with larger heads may even struggle with this hearing protection. The reason is that I can get it barely to cover my ears. When wearing a baseball cap and having to pull this hearing protection over that as well, covering the ears well becomes a real challenge. I have it on maximum extension and it just fits (more or less). It would be nice if the product was more adjustable, meaning it should have a larger extension mechanism.

Do not use for work!

This product should not be used for work purposes. The made quality is very poor and the design is not well thought compare to 3M products within the same price range. The foam inside the earmuffs are not sitting well and you can easily remove them yourself. The claimed 29 noise reduction rating is very in accurate, and you would notice it when you wear a lower rated 3M earmuffs. For your own safety, do not use this product for work.

Excelentes para el precio

No siento que silencien todo muy agresivamente pero sí proveen buena reducción. El esmeril ya no me molesta, aunque taladrar metal sí es ligeramente molesto el chillido, aunque mucho mejor que no tener las orejeras. Fáciles de colocar, fáciles de remover, son cómodas, aunque si usas protección ocular quizá quieras comprar unos de cinta o algo que no tenga patitas porque junto con las orejeras te puede calar después de un rato. Fuera de eso a toda madre, puedes incluso ponerte unos audífonos delgados dentro.

WOW just love the dewalt DPG62-C Interceptor Protective Safety for the ears. I wore them last Saturday to help my son do the grass. I m very impressed, it protected my ears while I used the tractor. No regrets whatsoever buying them. I would recommend them to anyone using machinery etc. Thank you.

Muy bien

Muy cómodas y de buen material. DeWalt hace buenos productos. Con careta no se pueden poner a menos que los acomodes de diferente manera pero el trabajo lo cumple al 100. No quita el ruido totalmente sin embargo si lo reduce considerablemente
