Works GREAT, With Minor Drawbacks...
This litter box is great if you don't like scooping litter or sifting through the litter sand to find the clumps. Because it is mostly enclosed, when you roll the litter box onto its side, you do not get a face full of litter dust which is nice. You really have to turn it over almost completely upside-down to get all the clumps over and into the litter drawer. Sometimes some litter sand can creep out of the drawer and onto your floor, but this is minimal and an expected part of the clean up. Also, when rolling the litter box back to its original position, sometimes some clumps that did not make it into the litter drawer will roll back into the litter area and you must then manually scoop that litter or redo the entire rolling over and back process. Overall, this is still much easier, cleaner, and saves me more time than a regular litter box, and I WOULD buy this litter box again and recommend it to my friends. 8.5/10!

You do need space to work this box
My cat took to the box right away. You do need the room to roll it and I don't know if I would really say it's self cleaning, but it does work as intended. I like that this is a covered box with a higher than normal litterbox wall due to my cat being a kicker. It needs no electricity and provides cyber privacy for cats. It is also way cheaper than the electronic versions. It is easy to put together, take apart, and clean when needed. I do prefer it over using a scoop. My wallet prefers it over a true self cleaning box.

Almost self cleaning....
This self cleaning litter box is almost there as I still fing myself having to scoop out probl areas such as corners where the litter has compacted and just stays there even after rolling. Plus the plastic grading, at least on mine, does not fit very well into the channel of the box itself so it takes some work to get it into place. Your experience may differ from mine. All in all a solid product for a decent price.

Great Product with minor issue
Great concept and it seems to work well. Much better then using a hand tool to clean the cat litter. My only concern is with how poorly the screen fit in the box. Only time will tell if it will hold up to constant use. Overall, Im happy with the box.

Works great.
This was my fourth litter box purchase, and I finally got it right. Seriously, so easy to use. Make sure you do not get kitty litter in the track where the unit snaps together. And make sure the grate inside is placed properly. After I figured those two things out, it has been a breeze. When you go to empty it, make sure you tap on the bottom of the unit to break up all of the clumps that get stuck. Make sure you use clumping litter. I wish I would’ve known that before I purchased it. To refill the litter / top it off, I pour it into the catch tray and pour it into the box = less mess. Also, the catch tray empties perfectly into the waste bags that come in the role that clips to your belt for walking and cleaning up after animals.

Does what it says it does
I bought this 3 months ago for 2 adult cats. This is a really good solution. It’s basically an automatic box without moving parts which makes it simple and reliable. I wouldn’t recommend the chrome accented version because at its core this thing is cheaply made and that version is more expensive. But this version while cheaply made is cheap to buy so I’m pretty ok with that considering it does its job well (lots of reviews complain about its cheap construction but forget how cheap it is to buy, I don’t want a 400$ robot box…). This version is also big and holds a lot of litter meaning it only needs litter added once or twice a week and a good size cat has space to do its thing. We roll it once a day at night when that cats seem to use it less giving everything in there time to clump and be dry. It takes some common sense to use but none of my concerns about messiness inside played out. Nothing sticks after a slap or two and it actually works the first roll the majority of the time. It’s so easy even after months no one complains about doing it every day. The grate did pop out once but not on me so maybe user error. I may run a screw or 2 in it if it becomes a problem and it can leak a very little bit of litter while rolling, but cats track litter anyway so its not like its adding extra cleanup. Overall the cats life has improved a lot because there box stays way cleaner, and we save money on not replacing the litter weekly. With the litter we use the box will be paid for in saved litter is less than 5 months. It could be faster but we have done a full change monthly even though its still pretty fresh.

Cats like it - not super sturdy
I love the design. Even my old cranky cat uses it. I do have to super glue and duct tape a crack on the back. I was shifting the box, without the lid, and the back cracked like old plastic containers do. I have two. I will get a couple more to put around house. It does leak a little litter when rolling it, but if you pay attention it’s not much. You have to watch what your doing, make sure drawer is closed. Roll to the right all the way, thump the bottom and sides to unstick any stubborn spots, roll it back over and keep rolling to the left. If you take a short cut, you waste litter. I have 4 cats and several different types of boxes. You Really need to clean it out daily for best results The capacity is not huge. You cannot stick it in a corner and forget. I have difficulty bending at the hip and knees- this simplifies emptying waste from box.

Cuts the work WAY down!
Roll it over, give it a tap, roll it back, and you're ready to toss the kitty waste into the trash. Use the slide-out waste catcher to replenish the litter box! You don't even have to take the top off to refill. Spend the money, - save your time. About sturdiness: It's the waste catcher drawer that brought it to a 4-star instead of 5 stars. It doesn't seal shut 100%, so a bit of litter escapes. I can live with that little bit of cleanup.

Good Idea - Pity It Doesn't Work
Where do I start, this is possibly the worst purchase of a gadget I have ever made and being a bit of a gadget freak, I have bought many useless gadgets over the years, but this is by far my worst. Before I saw this I used wood litter, every morning using the scoop to take out the solids, and giving it a complete empty and wash on the 3rd day, a 2 min job each morning and around 15 mins every 3rd day, no one enjoys poopie scooping, so like other cat lovers I wasn't keen to do this, although only a 2 min job, I really hated it, so when I saw this I was pretty excited and purchased. I also got a bag of catsan clumping litter, never been a fan of clumping, but hey it says it needs to be clumping, so I spent double what I usually spend on my wood litter, but thought it would be worth the extra, to avoid the poopie scooping, I set it all up with a few issues as it is really badly designed, the drawer doesn't fit well the clips kept popping out, but I persevered and eventally had it all filled with the amount of recommended cat litter, my cat took to it with no problem, which was a good sign, I done the roll over and yep the clumps went into the drawer, I looked in and it had missed a clump, but no big deal, it would catch it next time, next day much about the same, hoping I would get a bit more use than my usual 3rd day full clean, but decided to open it to check, it was pretty disgusting with large clumps all stuck to the grating and to the bottom of the tray, so I still had to do a full clean up, however my usual 15 min job turned into over an hour, the tray is too bit to tip into an average size black bin bag, so I had to use my dust pan to scoop out the litter and tranfer it into the bag, then due to the clumps stuck to the bottom, I hunted for a wall paper scrapper, found one and hacked off the clumps with this again tranfering into the bag, having no one around to hold the bag open and not very easy to do on your own I ended up with lots of litter over the floor, so out comes my brush but my dust pan is thick with clumps of poop and litter stuck to it, so I then wash with some bleach, making a mess of my bathroom sink, then I am now able to sweep the floor, now its time to clean the tray, I decided to blast it with water in the bath, but the tray is too big to fit in the bath, so I am now twisting and turning it under the blasting tap, result I'm soaked, the bath now has litter and goodness knows what else floating in it, I now need to try and carefully lift it over to the toilet to pour down the dirty water, again with the large size half goes into the toilet the other half over the floor and my feet, now there's the grating, how on earth as I going to clean this, I tried to scrape inbetween the slats with an old tooth brush, but this was a long process, then I eventually had to blast this too in the bath. All done now the litter tray is clean but my bathroom is a total mess, so now I have to clean this too, an hour and a half later, I'm exhausted and still soaked with the water, my hairs a mess and I'm already over an hour late for work, but I can't go to work soaked and no doubt stinking of cat pee, so I have to have another shower, eventually arriving 2 hrs late for work (losing 2 hrs pay) and totally stressed and exhausted. So please think very carefully before you buy this, it's not only the cat loo you have to clean, it's your own loo and yourself, I have gone back to my old tray and wood litter, now I actually realise how easy a normal litter is, and don't even mind the 2 min poopie scooping now. I have one small indoor kitty, but at least she appeared to enjoy watching the show. I wish I had took a video to show you what a complete disaster this cat tray is.

Cheaper than a Litter Robot III but you gets what you pay for I guess.
We decided to try this after our Litter Robot II broke after years of great service. This used a similar "turning" principle and is so much cheaper. Sadly we found it very bulky, made from cheap plastic with clips that loosened or came undone spilling fouled litter on a few occasions onto the carpet when turning the box over. We also found that urine clumped litter stuck to the bottom. So sadly after using for a few months we ordered a new Litter Robot III and once again that is doing a great job.

Sticks to the base, to the roof and falls out of the door, pee on wrong side of grate :-/
I love the theory around your litter box but I can't seem to make it work. I have had it for three weeks now. I get soiled claggy clay fullers earth litter stuck on the roof, it falls out of the door when I roll it over and it clings to the base box so persistently that I have to take it apart and scrape it with the ye olde traditional scoop. I tried upgrading to 4x the cost super absorbent fine clumping litter to attempt to fix the problem. This was worse, my cat peed through the grate and solidified the expensive litter so that I had to chisel it out of the grate with a flat head screw driver (see pictures: the picture of the tray shows the clips that the grate fits into and therefore the pee is on both sides and therefore could never "self clean"). I have taken it apart and cleaned it fully 4 times. I have checked and re-checked I'm constructing it correctly. I love the idea but unless I'm really using the wrong clumping cat litter, I'm afraid it just doesn't work as a "self cleaning" litter box. I did not expect a miracle but less work to maintain a clean litter tray rather than more would have been nice. Please advise me if there is a "better" clumping cat litter that fits the design of this tray: My normal litter is Coshida from Lidl and the upgraded one is pets at home ultra performance.

Great for people with depression
I personally struggle with depression and sometimes find it hard to get up and do tasks that I really don’t want to do, this makes it incredibly easy. The only con I would say is one of the latches is a bit finicky for me but it takes about five seconds to clean the litter box. I keep a large empty tidy cat bin on the side and just dump the poop into that and empty as needed. My cat was a bit stubborn adjusting to the new box so keeping the lid off for the first week helped her transition.

A bit tricky to setup
This is our 3rd Omega litter box in 18 years, we have had 2 cats the whole time. Based on our experience here is what we do to use this litter box which may address some of the concerns and complaints people have. Assemble the box and clip the top on, Tilt the box against a wall and slowly fill it with HIGH quality clumping litter, ( filling it with the top off will usually cause the screen to come out of its slots) Slowly tip the box forward to level the litter. When rolling it to clean, go SLOW... When rolled over, gently pat the box over top of the scoop to dislodge any stuck clumps, then SLOWLY roll back to the left until the litter is evenly spread. We have followed this routine for over 18 years and never had an issue , UNLESS we bought the cheapest litter that we could find , then it was a mess as it did not clump well. Hope this helps. Update, after several weeks I will admit this is made from much cheaper plastic then my old ones... For the sale price I am ok with that, full price... No way...
