Size Matters
I was originally going to return this because my dog wasn’t interested at all. At the time she was only 8 weeks-old and I wanted to give her time to get a little bigger and learn to play with it before returning it. It turns out the issue was me. She LOVES this thing. I got a medium size because I wanted it to be big enough to push around with her massive feet. That was the wrong choice for us. She didn’t like it because it was too big for her mouth and she couldn’t carry it. The material is strong and the divots aren’t large enough for her to pinch and carry. If your dog doesn’t like it, see if the toy fit their mouth. Deducted a star because the treats dump out of the hole like a cereal box. I have used: dried liver, dog food, dried tripe (long and skinny pieces), cheerios. I don’t think filling it with something like peanut butter is a good option because the hole is way too small and it’s not designed to do that. Putting wet things in there will probably mold. It doesn’t keep her occupied for very long. It might do better in a crate-type, chomping use.

My dogs favorite toy
I originally happened to find this ball at marshalls about 8 years ago when my roxie was only 2 months old. I have purchased 6 over the years. A large one for my big boy porkchop...several mediums for roxie. They lasted and were durable once she was out of her chewing stage but she used it so often it was just natural wear and tare from going indoors to outdoors and back indoors. I just got 2 more puppies and they love it also but chewed through the ball. My roxie is devastated so i went to order her a new one. WHAT HAPPENED TO THE PRICE! my most expensive one purchased was less than 4 dollars on amazon and now they're 12 to 16? I will be checking marshalls and tjmaxx first as i have seen them there a bunch in the past. My last resort will be to purchase for 13 bucks on amazon. The price is 3x what it used to be. If she didnt love it so much i wpuldnt even consider it knowing i purchased 6 for the same price as 2 now

Best Dog Treat Ball Ever!
This is so much better than a Kong. The dog has to keep at it, pushing the ball around with her nose to get the treats out. This is No for peanut butter. It’s for hard or soft small training treats.

My dog loves it
My dog loves this treat ball! This is his 2nd, not because he destroyed his 1st, but because sometimes one goes missing for a little while and it's nice to have a backup. This is soft plastic, so if your dog's a chewer, they will easily chew through this. My dog also has a hard plastic one, which is harder for him to pick up with his mouth to get out of a corner and it's very loud. This ball is quiet and the perfect size and softness for my dog to be able to carry around. He loves it!!

Love these balls!
We used the larger version for our German Shorthaired Pointers! They used them for years! Loved them! Now we have a little Poochon and I gave it to him and he loves it too! Keeps him entertained! Will always have these for myDOGS!

Such a good toy and entertainment tool
I've purchased a few of these over the years, bigger ones for my big dogs and now this smaller one for my little dog. it took literally 5 minutes to teach him how to use it and now I use it in the morning to feed him his first meal of the day (giving me time to enjoy a cup of coffee!). These are so great, I highly recommend.

But other than that very good toy .

Small dog destroyed in 2 hours
Our 7lb Havapoo loves this thing, and quickly figured out that it dispenses treats when she rolls it around the room, but within 2 hours she had chewed around 90% of the dispenser hole and broke off the "funnel" that restricts the treats from spilling out of the toy. Once the restrictor comes off, it will dump treats and become too "easy.". Great toy. Hours of entertainment, but easily destroyed.

Destroyed in 1 hour
Loved this product at first My 35 pound dog was delighted with it and it kept him busy trying to get the treats out I was so happy he liked it However my happiness was short lived when after an hour of play he had eaten the top off of it and swallowed the pieces Not very durable So it was a waste of money

Ben, my Havanese loves this treat ball.
Not just for treats. We put Ben’s food in the ball, including cooked chicken, regular food, freeze tried liver etc. Ben LOVES this ball. He pushes the ball with his nose, and chooses which food that drops out, he wants to eat first. Then he will go back & eat the other pieces. When the ball gets stuck under furniture, he will pick up the ball & place it in an area where it will roll again. It is entertaining to watch him. Medium is the perfect size for our 11 pound dog. Ben will chew & enjoy raw hide. These balls have lasted over a year, because Ben is gentle with his toys. He knows the difference between this ball, which holds a treat, & rawhide which is to be devoured. If you have a dog that chews toys & other non food items, I would suggest that chewing this ball would be related to your specific dog, not the ball. The “size” of the food & treat and each dog’s determination to roll the ball, are factors in how quickly or slowly, the ball will empty. A dog who enjoys a challenge will have fun with this food ball. Hope this helps you decide if this is the right product for your dog.

Better than expected
We received this today and were happy that the other reviews where wrong. The ball seems quite sturdy and a good size for our medium puppy. Easy for her to grab on to but big enough so it’s not so easy to chew on. Like Kongs and other fillable toys she enjoys it until kibble is out. We could fit about 1/3 cup of kibble into it. Took her about 10 minutes to empty. The opening is quite large but shape of ball limits how fast it falls out. Not sure what monster size treats people are trying to fit in but kibble and training treats fit in well. This not a chew toy it is used to feed our puppy so she doesn’t choke on food by eating so fast. For the price there is no question this is an awesome product and works so well. Will buy larger size when she gets bigger. Lots of fun watching her try to get food out

Not for anxious or small/tiny dogs. Inaccurate size description.
I ordered a “small” blue and yellow treat ball a few days ago. It was larger than expected and terrified my dogs they wouldn’t push it around or anything even though they knew it had treats in it. So I thought let me look for something smaller and less intimidating. These are basically the same size. It gives two different product diameters. 3.5” (first image small text on the package i didn’t notice until attempting return) and 2.5” in diameter (fourth image). It’s larger than 3.5” and once again, terrified my two little simpletons. I also just saw they’re selling a “small” version that has the exact same dimensions. Technically larger if you listened to the info on page 4. The guy in the chat was rude and telling me to message the manufacturer and that I can’t get a refund even though it’s listed inaccurately. What do they have to do with anything when the product is shipped and sold by Amazon. This is your blunder. A lovely woman on my customer service phone call came up with an option for me to potentially get a refund and I will be going through with it. I would NOT recommend this product for very small or anxious dogs. The durability on the product seems okay but seeing how my smaller dog was actively chewing on his puzzle pieces to move them instead of using his nose or paws, if he understood this toy he would surely destroy it in no time at all. I also can’t figure out how you’re meant to clean this for any kind of long term use.

Exactly what I had been looking for!
I had bought a few of these in pink from a winners or TJ Max 6 years ago for my 10lb Shih-tzu/maltese/yorkie mix, and lost all but one. It's her very favorite thing in the world and I could only ever find it in size small or large, neither of which worked for her. Also most treat dispensing toys no matter what size the holes are, treats seem to fall out so quickly. Thanks to the inside tunnel it makes it more challenging for treats to come out and thus keeps her occupied a lot longer. It totally cleared her anxiety when I would leave, she actually can't wait for me to say bye and give her her toy, she's off with it and doesn't pay any attention to my leaving lol. She's not a chewer, and I suspect this toy wouldn't last 5 minutes with a dog that likes to chew. She happily picks it up and tosses it, also rolls it with her nose across the floor. I break treats into sizes that don't come out too easily and its keep her busy for quite a while.
