Check existing holes

I replaced an old brass knocker from our 1989 home with this one. Immediately refreshed the front door! My only caveat is to be mindful that my original knocker connected to the door with two screws that were closer together. Luckily my front door is a material that I could drill through for the new knocker, but that will add to the installation.

Very very nice

Nice product. I was able to write the apartment number on the flat part. Perfect black accent to match the smart lock (Yale). This is not a wimpy sized knocker either, it has presence. Just what I needed. The only problem I had was that the screws provided were not long enough for the much thicker 1950’s door so I have to get longer ones. I would have put up a picture but with the new updates, Amazon wants access to your photos and that’s a NO.

Lousy packing

I ordered two. It looks like whoever packed it played soccer with the boxes. One was taped up in what appeared to be a grocery bag and the other was in no packing at all. I received 1 mounting screw and 1 washer. There should be 4. Probably would be a nice product if packaged properly.

You have to screw it on from the inside of your door!

You have to screw this door knocker on from the inside of your door. So the screws go all the way through your door from the inside of the door to the outside where they attach to the door knocker. Why would anyone want to see two screws on the surface of the inside of their door! I am returning it for this reason. Didn't even take it out of the package. Otherwise, it looks very nice and looks sturdy, but who wants to see black screws on the inside of their white door?

Exlente producto

Muy buen producto y a un precio justo. Lo compré con la intención de colocarlo como ornato, no obstante, funciona muy bien para llamar a la puerta. Para el tamaño de mi puerta (2.3 mt X .9 mt), quedó muy bien balanceado.
