Great weight vest to increase exercise results
I bought this vest a week ago and I am already impressed. At first in trying to get it setup for me I thought that I would have to return. But I am so glad that I pressed on and got the vest setup. It is a bit tricky but press on. I bought the 30 lbs not being sure that I would ever get up to using all the weights but the price points made it best to pay a little extra now and be motivated to increase. I am using 15 lbs now and I am 5ft2in and 125 lbs. The vest fits me perfectly. I had to start slowly to adjust to carrying the extra weight. But now I can actually walk quickly up and down 2 flights of stairs without feeling too strained. The first few times I walked up and down stairs REALLY slowly and also had to concentrate on balancing myself. I wear the vest also for walking briskly for 45 minutes with ankle weights of 5 lbs each and hand weights of same 5 lbs each. Wonderful addition to my exercise regimen. Be careful to not overdo to start. I had some neck and shoulder pain at first so take it slowly.

Love this vest
I got the 40# vest (total weight is 41# )… It fits close to my body but doesn’t press on areas of discomfort (ie boobs) nor is it too long it bumps into my thighs if I’m going uphill. I got this to train for a 45# arduous pack test and it’s worth the money. Tried a cheaper vest with the sand and the vest was long , uncomfortable, and the weight bags with “sand” just lumped at the bottoms of each pouch and they are frail and tore open. The weights on the Mir vest are the solid bars… so much more comfortable.

Pleased with vest
I purchased this to prepare to mountaineer. I had an 8 lb vest previously. I was worried about such a large jump in size but I am pleased that I can handle the 30lb vest and worst case you could insert less of the 3lb weights for a lighter option. I'm 5"3", busty, and in the 140s, this fits me comfortably. My partner has worn it on the treadmill and he is 5'10" and just under 200. It's very snug on him. I would totally purchase this again

As good as it gets!...and instructions for those of you who want them.
For my women in the service, this is for us! I bought this despite the price because there really is no other option for women. I cannot wear men's vests because of my body type. I am about 5'6" but mostly torso and maybe 140 lbs athletic with a soft layer on top. I am generally fairly petite, maybe a 28" waist because I've put on weight, but I wear a 28F bra size so there is simply no way the one size fits all thing would work for me. For reference, I can tighten up a female level IIIa body armor about as tight as it gets. The only sports bras that are tight enough on my are the under armour ones in small. There is a reason why I have this as tight as it gets. So if you're my size, you can still wear this. On the other hand, you can back out all the straps a few inches in the shoulders and a ridiculous amount in the waist, so you can be a big strong awesome viking woman and still have this fit you like a glove. That is, if 30 lbs is enough for you. This vest does a pretty good job of putting the weight between your breasts so it's not really pulling down on you, if you know what I mean. Nobody likes that feeling that their training equipment is going to put their breasts in their lap within the month. Sad face :( Make sure that it is nice and snug if you want to run with it. I fave mine adjusted so that when tight the belted area fits snuggly under the front of my ribcage so as not to bounce up on me when I run. I started with 18 lbs and will be slowly working my way up. Be kind to your knees, don't start with way more weight then you're used to. Give your body a chance to adjust. I saw someone had a hard time figuring out how to put it on, so I will explain it... The vest comes fully loaded with a belt strap on the side in a box with no instructions. There are five pockets on the front and five pockets on the back, each with a three pound weight that looks like a metal bar of soap. (Homey don't play that, hahaha...but I digress.) If you would like to take weights out, take the same amount from the front and back. If you take one from each side, take the middle ones. If you take two, take corresponding left and right ones so that the vest stays evenly weighted. The vest slips over your head with the side that has an X shape for your breast on the front. You can adjust the shoulder strap length by undoing the strap and pulling apart the front and back that are held together with velcro. I overlapped mine as far as they can go without interfering with the securing strap because I am small. Reattach the securing strap and your strap is now adjusted. Repeat on the other side. The belt is made of mostly velcro. There are two elastic sides that will allow you to breathe slightly. There is a velcro attachment with a double D ring (like a belt) that goes on the front. To make the belt smaller, undo the velcro on the back side and make it smaller. It is okay for the velcro to overlap. The belt will still work fine. Adjust it so that, when worn, the front side with the D ring is as tight as it gets for maximum security. Lastly, attach the back side of the velcro to the back side of the vest before you put it on. There is a big strip of velcro (hook side) that goes across the bottom row of pockets on the back. Put on the vest. Pull the belt around nice and tight attaching one side of the velcro to the front and then the other. Use the securing strap with the D rings to sinch it up and then use the velcro end to hold the strap down. AFTER USING IT expect your neck and shoulder area (trapezius and levator scapulae) to be sore from having weight that you're not used to carrying there. This is great for training for a long backpacking trip or for wearing body armor for anyone in the service. For my martial artists, doing forms and stances in this vest will make your legs ready for anything. Just be aware that it will throw your trained balance off a bit. It's worth it. Bottom line is that if you like training and you want some good resistance, but you are a small woman and/or find men's vests uncomfortable on your breasts, just buy it. It will be worth the money.

Works good
Used once so far. Everything works great and good quality. Knocking a star off for some pilling on the big weight pocket of the chest. It is also big for me in the torso as I am small chested. 5'4 117 pounds. The waist it fits well.

Comfortable fit for walking
Like that the front is made for a woman, that the weights are easy to take in and out, that the vest is easy to put on and off. It seems plenty heavy with half of the weights in their slots. In winter, I wear a T-shirt and medium thickness sweatshirt underneath it: velcro with this setup seems a bit short, but it works. If velcro wears out, I can sew on new ones.

Easy to use
I bought this for working out at home have been struggling to get the last few pounds off after years of weight loss I bought this and edit 38 pounds to try for the first week and lost 2 pounds if it’s well and it’s very comfortable considering the weight that I’m carrying well worth the money

Great Fit And Highly Adjustable
Have used it twice so far - will update with more use - but so far have found it very helpful. I upgraded to this from using a backframe for adding weight for walking. Carrying weight on the front is an adjustment and if the shoulders aren't adjusted correctly so the waist strap carries some of the weight it can be quite uncomfortable. I spent a short walk just adjusting til everything fit snug, didn't pinch, or move around. Easy to balance the load front and back, side to side. Love that - as a bustier girl - my chest isn't completely compressed. I've found it helpful for keeping the weight off my chest, which is a big trauma trigger for me.
