Really the Best Ferret Cage You Can Get
This is probably the best ferret cage you can get in the $300 price range. Anything better would likely cost an arm and a leg. It works nicely and the ferret seems happy. It does have its flaws though. The welds are of mediocre quality and aren't the type of craftsmanship you find on top-tier products. If you move your cage around a whole lot. The powder costing is also prone to chip off, especially on the thin bars. The plastic trays are pretty warped as well and don't sit perfectly flat. Building this thing wasn't bad at all. All I used tool-wise was a screwdriver and a rubber mallet. I put it together myself in less than an hour, although two people would have made it easier for sure. I didn't really run into any of the parts being too ill-fitting and needing hammering like some other people did. I'm a 5'6" thin build male so most other people should be able to put this together by themselves. The ferret seems happy with the cage. He sticks to mainly the top two levels and usually only goes down to the bottom to use the litter box. I put the food and water on the 2nd level and the beds on the top level. We take him out of the cage most of the day so he really only spends the night time in the cage probably sleeping. I would get this cage again.

Great product with options
I wanted our ferrets to have more room. Our most recent addition was 3 times the size as our other two. I bought two cages and with a little ingenuity, put them together as another reviewer had suggested. It’s perfect. Plenty of room for him to play. Though they are out and about every day, this is a welcome addition for them to have play time whenever they want. Because of the structure of the cages, it was a simple task. Couldn’t ask for a better product. Assembly even with my modifications was easy. Thank you

Love love love
I've got 2 ferrets and I absolutely love this cage the doors open fully making it a breeze to clean the cage and they seem to really enjoy the extra space and with extra space they get extra hammocks lol it really is worth every penny my husband put it together in 15 mins so I think it would probably be easy to put together

Ferret Nation
Awesome cage! Highly recommend FERRET Nation cage. Durable/sturdy/ trays are easy to clean. Wish I would’ve ordered fabric protective tray covers in the beginning. The FABRIC tray covers deter her from chewing on plastic trays & make CLEANING cage much easier, tossing covers into washing machine. We combined a TWO Story units + 1 add on unit, giving her 3 STORIES to jump/play if her door must be closed, (rare occasion) if a visitor/guest in our home. I do believe the CRITTER nation would be BETTER for our orphan squirrel BUT only because smaller spacing in between bars. nation but only because smaller spaces between bars. if I could go back ONLY because smaller spaces between wire . Princess” eats plastic any visitors. insid goes inside if we have visitors. Only regret is not ordering critter nation instead ferret

I'm beyond amazed
Okay I really underestimated the size. Even though was just for sleeping and when she can't roam free. I was looking to upgrade my 1 year old ferrets cage i got around this time last year and the smaller cage is what she was in before i got this major upgrade for her. I did need help getting it up 3 flights of stairs, i would normally complain about them not dropping at my door but this i understood why they left it at front door lol. After getting up stairs i opened and removed all pieces. Read directions which were easy. I decided to group each levels parts and work that way, since nothing is labled made it super easy to put together that way. I do suggest a mallet to tap some pieces into place but still wasnt a major issue. I luckily had one from another project. I do feel it may be to big but i guess thats because im in such a small space but to make sure my furry baby is happy and safe makes it worth every penny. Im just now trying to make sure she get accustomed to it she doesnt seem to understand how to get up and down all the levels yet. Even with her old cage she was more a cage climber than ramp walker with the bars spaced like they are she now has to learn to use ramps thinking i may should have gotten the critter cage style instead. But she seems happy with the bigger space i may eliminate the top level until she is more comfortable the one level still seems way spacious just for her. But i can already tell it's easier for me accessing her and to clean for sure. Great product glad i purchased. I also got the additional accessories to spruce it up a bit.

Space saver
The ramp was a little crooked, and the big pieces slightly misaligned. I did need a hammer to "bang" it into position and be put together. That being said, this saves space and puts our guinea pig at an easier to reach height. He seems happy in this cage! And the wheels make sweeping much easier too. Just roll the cage, sweep, and done!bedding comes out the side easily, so we added some clear plastic edging (for cages, sold separately).

Using at a cat rescue
We are a cat rescue and these units have worked out very well. Stacking two of them allows us to have two levels for one cat or can separate into two units by just turning the floor panel around. They clean well. The hole in the floor panel allows a medium size cat to easily get up and down. If you're going to stack them, be sure to order the correct model that is stackable. Assembly can be a little tricky, but not bad.

Not as good as I expected for the price.
Well after having this for a few months now , I can say it's not as good as I would of expected , yes it's fantastic for cleaning out I love how the trays come out so can wash them all down in the bath but find the litter ends up a lot on the floor around the cage and also is starting to rust slightly which isn't what you would expect from a ferret cage when not had it for so long. It's handy with the little catches for the hammocks but really tricky to put together. Think there is a few improvements needed or a good drop in price.

Small problems but still a great cage!
90% of this cage is perfect. The bars are good as my ferret can't get her claws stuck and can't escape, but can stick her nose through if she likes. Water bottles and bowls clip on easily. The four floors make it so she can have her own little rooms, like one for food and toilet, one for sleeping, one for playing/hiding, etc. The doors have a good lock and the covers on the ramps are really good. The only criticisms I have on this cage are minor, and I can overlook most of them. When it arrived not all of the cage pieces fit together. Apparently this is a common problem. You have to get a rubber mallet and really hit it to get it in place. I'm not sure if they've fixed this problem and I got an older cage, but it was easy to fix once I got a mallet and just hammered it in. Some of the doors are easier to open than others. The top doors on my cage require a little more effort to pull down. That's not a huge deal, though I wish they were nice and easy like the lower doors. One of the ramps doesn't fit in properly. I couldn't seem to get the middle ramp to clip onto anything. This is another easy fix, either position it so it won't fall down or just grab a couple zip ties and attach it to the wires. So, all in all, I would say this cage has it's problems but they are very easy to overlook. The cage is a great size. The storage section is great for my big bag of litter and kibble. The removable floor trays are honest to god the best thing ever, cleaning is so easy now. Whenever I have to clean, I just put my ferret in her travel crate, take the floors out, give them a good hose and scrub, and then slide them back in with ease. I would highly recommend this for smaller businesses of ferrets. 3 or 4 might be the limit before you should get another cage, but that's just me.

Great except - Some parts need mallet to assemble, My very little ferret can escape!
This cage really is everything you could ask for with the minor inconvenience of some poorly aligned parts needing a mallet to knock it into position. Very happy with it. The only issue I'm having is not really the cages fault, my little female ferret can squeeze through the bars and I now can't find her... Wish me luck! Only purchase if the inch wide bars are suitable for your ferrets.

Great cage - Great size
Great cage - Great size, very spacious and the ferret loves it. It does take someone strong to be able to hammer some parts into place, which sadly I'm not so I had to call upon the father. The cage, despite what I was told before purchasing it, can not be used without the stand. I was also charged twice for 1 item, leaving me nearly £200 down on my account, which was stressful to sort out. Swings and roundabouts.

Best cage our ferrets have ever had!
Our ferrets love this cage, there's loads of space and it's much easier to clean than others we've had before in our 12 years as owners of various ferrets. I assembled this myself without too much bother, but a rubber mallet was really required to hammer some pieces in. The package is also very heavy so having two people might make it more manageable.
