Free Stuck Bolts Without Damage
I've used the 3/8 version for several years and been very happy. I live on the coast of Maine so corrosion is a major issue on newer vehicles. I also work on older 50 or more year old cars for my own pleasure. You obviously want to use impact sockets or bits, and don't start out full bore on the impact. I have the Snap on PH3050 and turn it way down for smaller fasteners. It really works to shake very stuck nuts and bolts free. Use a wrench to turn it as you finesse the air hammer. I finally got the 1/2 inch to use larger sockets without needing an adapter, but the 3/8 has done everything I've ever tried. Also It works well with impact hex or torx bit sockets and I use a 5/16 impact socket with screwdriver bits to shock things loose. Don't use non-impact, I used a non-impact allen socket on a brake rotor screw and it destroyed it, fortunately it was warrantied. This is a great time saver and Mayhew is a great company. Don't buy knock offs or you'll probably break them before your bolts break free.

A must have for weekend warriors and pros
A little rattle and a little torque works every time.

Awesome air hammer bit
This worked great for hammering on a bolt without damaging the bolt head. I was concerned about this damaging the back of the socket, but I was surprised to find no damage to the back of the socket nor to the front of the socket either. I bought the 1/2in version of this and only hammered straight on to the bolt itself. I cannot attest to the sheer strength of this bit from side load being put in it.

Must have in your air hammer arsenal.
This thing is amazing, with a good air hammer you can pop out; tie rods, ball joints, and even some bolt it wheel bearings (be mindful of the threads on the bolts though, have destroyed a few due to my stubbornness.) For bigger bolts I've used a 3/8 to 1/2 adapter and it'll do the job most of the time. Rust belt tech approved.

Life saver tool
This tool is a must have for replacing glow plugs, spark plugs, or exhaust manifolds. It makes bolts that’s a guaranteed to break off come out with ease. If anyone ask me about doing glow plugs I always recommend this.

Broke in first use
Bought other mayhew products and never had any issues. This one broke in less than 10 seconds. Hopefully they will warranty it.

Broke after 5 minutes
Foe what this thing costs, I thought it would last longer than 5 minutes. I was attempting to break loose screws from a Jeep TJ tailgate. It broke in 5 minutes and there is no way to repair it since it was the inner metal that broke. Very disappointed.

Just super fantastic tool!
Removed rusty caliper bleeder screws in literally 5 seconds. Reduced PSI to bare minimum to make the air hammer work (around 35 PSI) as I did not know what to expect. Watched several videos before, as hammer started to work I twisted the screw very-very lightly back and forward and suddenly it started to twist without any efforts! I am really surprised by this tool and this is very good investment as it will last forever.

Handy tool for those stuck nuts and bolts
Saw a video on YouTube, how to remove a seized glow plug in a Chevy Duramax motor, without breaking it. It worked, I was relieved to be able to remove that seized glow plug and replacing it. I had tried with a regular rachet, hot engine and lots of WD40, it would not budge. Using this adapter on my zip gun worked!
