Fixed our fake leather couch
My wife sat our vacuum cleaner on the couch trying to reach a high place with the hose attachment. Long story short the rotating brushes under the vacuum burned into the vinyl (fake leather). We used this kit to patch the damage. The repair is not perfect. However, we were able to match the color (dark brown) very closely. You would have to know where to look now to find the repair. Notes: 1. Read the directions 2. Be careful not to mix a lot of air into the mixture. It makes air pockets on the repair. 3. Do a practice run some place you can’t see. 4. Includes a very small amount of release agent. for larger repairs it runs out quick.

An ok temporary fix
First of all, you have not much room for mistakes because you don't get much to work with. Luckily I just had two medium and one small spots on a coat to repair, just to get me thru this fall so I can wait til next year to buy a new coat. Ok so what I learned is make sure you micro wave the activators and whatever colors you pick out for your product. Do one spot at a time. this so you can see how it comes out for you. Second of all, don't think you can wear whatever you repair in a few minutes. You will have to give it at least 2 days to be on the safe side. If it's a chair or something, it might take longer before sitting on the chair. Takes a while to dry thoroughly, and the products definately need to be micro waved to get them as loose as possible for easy spreading. You only get 1 spatula but you need 2. So I used a plastic knife for an additional spatula. Because you have to mix the activators and the color separately. And they need to be applied separately. Very sticky material also. So this product served a temporary purpose I needed but I won't buy it again.

When the color is mixed, it does dry darker than it looks.
I like that when it dried, it stayed in the crack. I did have to use the sandpaper enclosed, to smooth off the excess.

Hard to match burgundy color of chair. Paint feels different thick, and doesn’t match well
Tried to cover dog nail scratches. It looks blochie.

Beware
Not exactly as explained on the instructions. The color is off some and it didn’t stick as well. We used it on one part and ended up having to throw away.

Quantity is too low
Overall does its work. Give 3 stars since the quantity is super low. Making any mistake in mixing up the color will leave the user no chance to go back. Strong recommend at least double the quantity for white and black colors, since they are so fundamental to mix out any brightness.

Does the job
I had a very small tear in the back rest on my Harley Davidson motorcycle, and used this kit to repair it. While the repair is definitely noticeable, this kit does a serviceable job, and the result is certainly better than having a hole in the vinyl. The instructions that come with the kit are not the most clear, but watching the video on YouTube resolves any confusion as to how to use this product. Over all, I'd probably recommend this kit if you're looking for a relatively simple way to patch up your vinyl or leather items.

Does not adhere
Applied ist to a rough spot on an arm of a leather chair. Aloowed several days to dry. Within a few days it peeled off. Waste of money.

Waste of money
Absolute garbage. The leather patterned squares they provide to leave the same finish don't work at all. The patch is flat looks awful. Waste of money

Nothing
It wasn’t as good as it stated

Meh.
Make sure it's a little tiny rip because anything bigger will look bad. It ruined my furniture instead of fixing it. It took 2 full days to dry.
