No adhesion comes with the sliders.

Well made product however there is no adhesion that comes with the product. If the piece of furniture does not move, then there is no problem. If the furniture will be moved, look for another product.

Rubber not as flexible as the older ones

I love the magic sliders. I've used them for years. The new ones I purchased are not as flexible & are very difficult on place on the chair. I finally got the set on. I'm afraid to go up a size in case they fall off. I tried warming the slider up but I actually ruined the whole set, thank goodness I had extra. I purchased the 7/8"-1 inch. Possibly the larger slider doesn't have this issue.

Saves my tile floors

I attached these to the feet of my couches so the metal feet doesn’t dig into the grout between my tiles. It allows me to easily move my couches so I can clean under them. Since I have tile, I am not worried these will scratch the tile. However, if you have wood floors, these may scratch if it catches onto some dirt when sliding.

Work great!

I bought these to replace old felt chair leg protectors. So far they've worked great! I love being able to move our chairs more easily to clean around them, and we no longer hear the horrible scraping from the old protectors on our tile floor. They are a bit of a challenge to put on but I just used a small flathead screwdriver to pull the slider over the chair leg and that worked well. I bought this 7/8"-1" size as well as the 1 1/4" size to test out which would work better for my round chair legs that measured 1" across. The 7/8"-1" size fit a little more tightly, which I liked best and would recommend if you have chairs that size. I think they'll stay on longer, but we do have a set of the 1 1/4" on one chair and I'll see how long they hold up.

smooth as silk

My vintage Windsor chairs have nailed-in metal glides that make worrisome screeching noises when pulled across the hardwood floors. Since I was unable to remove the metal glides, I tried covering them with peel and stick glides. Though an improvement, they still scraped the floors. I decided to give these a try and they are wonderful. They are little black rubber cups with a stretchy top that fits over the chair leg and the gray part is the plastic glide that sits on the floor. My chairs have tapered legs with a 7/8 in diameter at the bottom. As others have said, it takes a little work to install these glides, but by the second chair, I learned the technique. Once installed, mine needed a bit of finessing because the bottom of the chair leg is not flat or level. Now my chairs slide across the floor as smooth as silk. They seem very secure, but If they don't stay on over time, I intend to use some kind of goopy adhesive inside the cup because I can't imagine that I will be able to find anything better. My chairs are black so these are very unobtrusive. The package shows a photo of the same glide in a lighter color.

They work great under a microwave..

I use them under my microwave, as i have to move it quite a lot, because my counter space is limited . they fit under and it slides really well.

Great for reducing noise of wooden chair legs on a stone floor.

Chair Sliders for carpeted areas.

These "chair leg covers" make it possible for me to slide my chairs back and forth from the table with extreme ease. They fit by friction but stay on nicely; in fact the old ones were in daily use for the past 15 years before drying out enough to require replacement. I have searched all over everywhere and so glad I found these on Amazon.
