Sliding Sliders Slide
Let me tell you a little something about the Waxman 4701195N Furniture slider This product lives up to it's name on every level. Not only are my chairs sliding like nobodys business, but also they do it without a single skid on my 1912 oak floors. That's right ladies, original and mint floors from yesteryear being protected by the quality chemists of Waxman corporation. Now I'm not trying to over glamify these bodacious sliders but they are literally the best invention since the appendectomy. So get these bad mothers and start moving your furniture with ease. Did I mention the epoxy that's holding them to the chair legs? Glue so strong you couldn't pull it off with anything less than a pry bar and the strength of Odin himself. Just be sure you get the right size for your setup fella's these mama jama's are about the size of a quarter and maybe a quarter inch thick. So be ready to ride higher and slide faster than ever before. I know what your saying," But Silas, how could these sliders possibly raise my furniture, keep my floors scuff free, be so impossibly affordable, and make me irresistible to the opposite sex?" The answer in short is quantum physics, as in you'll need a Phd just to count the number of ladies/fellas your having to kick out of your bed/couch/shower/attic/kitchen/car hood. So do yourself and the world a favor, buy a couple sets of Waxman Furniture sliders. You're welcome.

Great for coffee table on low pile carpet/rug.
Bought these for a coffee table. I have a low pile rug in the living room on hardwood and this makes it easy to move the coffee table around. The coffee table is approximately 50lbs and I've yet to have an issue sliding it around. The adhesive foam tape is a bit weird and thick. I don't think these would be good on light (not heavy) furniture since it seems to need to compress a fair bit to be sturdy. They may fall off otherwise.

Good for stationary furniture
We used these on the legs of our dining table, which sits on a painted vinyl floor. So far they're holding up well, although the adhesive isn't perfect, and some have become a little askew. They're pretty good for use on furniture that isn't going to move much, but I definitely wouldn't use them on chairs, etc., that see a lot of movement. (We got some smaller ones like these for our dining room chairs initially, but after only a few days we had to replace them with a screw-on variety that would stay in place.) So far we've had them almost a year, and there's no scratching on the painted floor at all. I can't comment on how they might do on carpet.

Limited Use
These are four tiny (4" X 4") pieces of oatmeal colored plastic that cost about a buck and a quarter a piece. They are too small to fit most of my furniture. However, my modem, routers, Ooma etc are on a desk at which is a chair that these sliders will fit under. The chair is placed on a plastic chairmat. The chair will slide on the mat but these sliders make it even easier to move the chair around and they offer some admittedly small amount of protection to the mat. The product has been working well so far but I had to take off one star for the ridiculous price.

My chairs now glide across the carpet
These get the job done. I have wooden legged dining chairs, with square bottoms on the legs. Adding these glides made a very nice difference in how the chairs slide on my carpeted floor. The size is perfect for my chairs - the glide is a little shorter then the width of the leg, so they do not show .

Move Furniture With Ease
I like to be able to move my furniture around with ease when vacuuming, or just when changing the location. The table I adhered these to had skinny legs which were the perfect size for these. In fact, they already had metal gliders. I just stuck these right onto the metal gliders. They attached well and they're still attached several months later. The table is now much easier to slide from place to place. This is a light little table.

Works Well
The sliders are making it easy to move an ottoman on carpet. This is furniture that is pushed around a few times a day and difficult to move on the rug. I first unscrewed the round protectors that were already attached to the legs. I attached the Super Slider adhesive squares and turned the ottoman upright. The squares slid a little so I lifted each leg and adjusted them back into place. I didn't move the furniture until several hours later to let the adhesive set.

Not great for carpet
I got these to put on the feet of my TV cabinet so I could slide it easily across the carpet. It just sunk right into the carpet and the cabinet wouldn't budge. The issue is the size--they're just too small to be able to move anything that weighs much at all across the carpet. It just sinks in like the regular feet do. These might be fine if you have a very firm berber carpet. I saw that it also is designed for sliding across hardwood floors and it might be fine for that (although I'd think a felt bottom slider would be better for that). But it's just not going to be of any use on carpeting. Also, the price I paid was high for what it was. This product is much cheaper at Walmart.
